Cold Lemon Tea & Cold HK Milk Tea
Arnel B.

We were feeling thirsty and were both craving a cold HK Lemon Tea and cold HK milk tea. 3A has affordable and tasty cold lemon tea and HK milk tea. I just wish they had a larger size. The total price for the 2 drinks was approx $10.

I got the jumbo shrimp wonton with thick noodle, which is my fav. My mom got just the shrimp wontons (6 pcs), and my dad got the wonton lo mein. We agreed that they don't use, or use very little msg. The flavours are very natural! I loved the noodle. My only gripe is that their veg, while cheap (add 3.50 if you order a noodle), it was yellowing and didn't have much flavour to it. The staff lady was super nice and knowledgeable. She answered our questions about the fried fish skin. It's Basa skin! Yay :) The whole place was very clean and well lit, so much that you don't even need extra lighting for pics. It's a very chill vibe. Def great for a quick bite. A noodle is approx $11, which is standard. I like that you can add a side for $3-$3.50.

Visited for the first time recently and it was surprisingly quiet for a new restaurant that's all over instagram. I did notice a sign that said 45 mins seating limit during busy hours, so maybe we just got lucky. It was clean and spacious and the noodles were good. Their prices seem in line with most competitors but I think I prefer their toppings, broth, and noodles.

Although there is a lot of parking in this plaza, there are times when there is hardly any available spots. Service is quick and efficient every time I've gone. The menu is HK-style café with a wide range of options, so there's something for everyone. I've tried quite a bit from their menu over time, and nothing has been disappointing. One thing I appreciate is that they don't over-season their food, especially with salt. Most of their meals come with drinks and a choice of soup and they have CREAM SOUP! It's much rarer to find a place that still offers it nowadays. Drinks are also better than average compared to the surrounding hk styled cafes in this plaza. I'd come back because it's reliable and easy to enjoy, especially with a small group of people!

This restaurant serves up some delicous HK diner favourites and most dishes come with soup and hot drink. My first visit I tried the viral sizzling sirloin steak with fries and black pepper gravy. It was $29.99 when I tried it. I believe the prices have gone up slightly. I also got a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Perfect meal for me. My wife got the baked curry beef brisket. The dish was good but mostly rice and not enough beef brisket. Our second we tried the fried chicken leg with fried egg and choice of gravy. The chicken had a nice chinese breading and I believe some salted egg yolk as well. The chicken was crispy and juicy inside. We definitely marked this dish as a must have when we come back. Our 3rd visit we tried the baked cream chicken with rice. This dish was underwhelming and didn't have enough chicken. The cream sauce was tasty but we felt it was more of a frozen dinner variety. I ordered the fried grouper fish with garlic gravy. The fish was crispy and really nice breading. The dish needed some veggies for garnish but I understand they are trying to keep the prices affordable. If you are looking for some HK cafe that serves up some viral dishes and great value, then I recommend this place.

The restaurant is bright and spacious with lots of seatings. Bonus, they even have a few individual seating area. Service was polite and friendly. Ordered a few items to try. Beef fried rice noodles (hor fun), tons of sesame seeds and bean sprouts. Beef was tender and can taste the wok hey. However, the soy sauce is a bit on the sweeter side. Spicy pork soup vermicelli combo comes with eggs and toast. Soup vermicelli was good and flavorful. I opted for scrambled eggs and it was perfectly smooth and creamy. Toasts were a bit on a bland side. Curry fish ball, turnip and pig skin was decent. Slightly oily and also a bit on a sweeter note. Curry beef brisket has a hint of spicyness and has coconut milk. Nice curry taste but also a bit too sweet imo. Brisket was tender overall. Tomato sauce pork cutlet with rice was good flavour. Pork cutlet was crispy and juicy but tomato sauce was a little sweeter than usual. Coconut red bean drink was decent but the red beans were too hard and lacks the sandyness (softer texture). If you've had red bean dessert soup then you would know what i mean. Would of been better if the red bean quality was better. 4 stars overall.

It was my first time here, and the experience started off on the wrong foot. I had barely sat down, not even 30 seconds, before a staff member was already hovering over us trying to take our order. I hadn't even had a chance to look the menu yet, which immediately made things feel rushed and uncomfortable. The space itself is quite small, and they won't let smaller groups of two people or fewer sit in the booths, which adds to that cramped and slightly stressful atmosphere. There's people hovering nearby watching if you're almost done. Overall, the entire dining experience felt rushed from start to finish. The food is cheap, I'll give them that, but unfortunately the quality reflects that. I ordered a sandwich and it was sloppily put together. The bread slices were not even aligned properly, where the top slice and bottom slices were in opposite directions, making it so you couldn't pick it up. Flavour-wise, I was hoping for more of a Hong Kong cafe style satay beef, but this wasn't it. The curry was okay, with some decent chunks of meat and potato, but nothing particularly memorable. What really left a bad impression was the payment experience. Their debit machine defaults to 12%, 15%, or 18% tips calculated after tax, with no upfront notice or custom option. Tipping is not mandatory in Canada, and it should be up to the customer based on service. When we asked about it, the response felt as if we were being made to feel cheap over "just a few cents". Honestly it is not about the amount, it is about principle. If you are just looking for a quick and cheap bite, this place might do the job. But considering the long lines and how rushed the experience is, you might end up waiting longer than you actually get to sit and eat. Personally, I will not be coming back. I would rather get takeout or dine somewhere that lets you actually relax and enjoy your meal.

Orders were ready within 10-15 minutes. Baked pork chop rice was mediocre at best. Wasn't that good, some pieces of pork were tender and some were tough, rice had very little to no flavour. Hainanese chicken was delicious! Chicken was tender, rice has a nice flavour and you can tell they use the chicken broth they cooked the chicken to cook their rice. Comes with 3 sauces. Curry beef brisket was my favourite. Beef brisket was tender, the tender potatoes soaked up the curry sauce, and the curry was flavourful with a hint of spiciness. Lemon tea is good, but you really need to smash down the lemon to get that lemony taste. Will come back just for the curry beef brisket and hainanese chicken.

To be honest, it is not perfect in many dimensions: It's not spacious and feels too greedy to have too many tables. It is not a good place if you really want to have an elegant environment to have your meals. The servers are a bit aggressive. But despite of all those disadvantages, I still give it 5 stars because it has the PERFECT food! I almost dropped some tears when I tasted my first bite of the dish I ordered, stored fried beef with tomatoes and eggs. I think what it does best is that it adapt its dishes to use the local produce and meat, and still keep the legit HongKong food flavors. My wife ordered the stir fried instant noodles and it was full of pepper, mushrooms and soy sauce flavor. Not a big space, but can probably seat 25-30 people.
