354 Steakhouse in Cliffside Park, NJ. Located on 354 Lawton Street-come hungry because everything on the menu is amazing. You get a classic steakhouse variety of steaks and chops but also an option for flavorful Cuban dishes. We opted more on the steak house options and it did not disappoint! The steak and seafood paella were my favorites but honestly anything you get here you will be happy! The French onion soup is homemade and oh so cheeeesy. Amazing service and drinks-loved it!

5 stars! The food was so good! It wasn't salty and well cooked. ALL DISHES, not just one. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was done really really well. I wanted a steak and seafood place and this place delivered. I'm a bit bummed that you had to ask for bread, but the chips were a nice touch. The mussels Diablo as an appetizer was A+, good and spicy. The dishes weren't salty at all which I was a fan of, because I like adding salt myself. My dad loved the French onion soup and the sizzling steak which I had was literal perfection. The service was okay, nothing crazy worth noting, but she was helpful and got our orders right.

I rate this place a 7. The service was excellent. Food came out piping HOT, they were so fast and accommodating. However, I'm sorry to say, the food was just mediocre. We started off with the red Sangria, this was excellent! We ordered the fried calamari (very chewy) and the guac and plantain chips, this was ok. I ordered the sirloin steak with the herbal butter and mushrooms, garlic mash and spinach....too garlicy but other than that , no flavor. My husband got the filet mignon and the mash as well. He said it was ok, but nothing to brag about. Place was dingy and everything felt sticky and gross. I'm sorry... I don't think I'd come back.

Where do I even begin? I had the most amazing experience here tonight 03/20/2021. I called ahead and reserved a table for 7pm. There are hand sanitizers on the table but social distance wasn't much of a thing. The restaurant is small so I don't fault them. Mostly everyone inside knew one another so that tells me this is either a family establishment or these were locals supporting their peeps! Either way it's cool with me, I'm here for it. Prices are very reasonable and food is delicious. The appetizer ribs were my favorite, fall off the bone baby back ribs with some sort of sweet sauce. That was some slap Ya mama ribs. I didn't even share, oops :) We had steak, onion rings, creamed spinach, rice, empanadas, garlic chicken, hot wings, fried calamari, etc.... so much food. The waitress and busboys checked in often, clears the table of the dirty plates and brings refills. At the end of it all we had a huge amount of food for 5 people, under $300 including tip so that's a steal. I didn't have any complaints at all. We're definitely coming back again and again.

One of my girlfriends took me here for a late birthday lunch. When I arrived I had to drive a little distance to find parking because it is really tough in the area. I walked in and found my friend already seated. Julianna was our waitress and she was cool. I started with the red sangria and that was so tasty. My friend also ordered one and her's wasn't as tasty lol. For my entrée I got the ribeye with a side of rice and vegetables. My friend got the surf and turf. My meal was very good but it was very fatty. My friend enjoyed her meal and it looked tasty. I did enjoy my time at this establishment.

Just moved into the neighborhood. While walking my dog I saw this restaurant and saw they had a table outside. It was a really hot day so they weren't servicing outside dining but they thankfully accommodated me. Ordered the mixed empanadas, French onion soup, and the ropa vieja with rice and beans. The food was excellent. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

I was in this area for business and had a 1:00 PM appointment. A Yelp friend , Christian L suggested 354 Steakhouse for lunch, so let's do this. When we got there the street was closed off by the local police so I had to park a block away. No problem. We were the only ones there for lunch so we have our pick of tables. Very old world atmosphere, wood everywhere even the ceiling. Good menu with several choices. I noticed a leaning toward Cuban fare. I chose the "Seafood Valencia", which was an assortment of shell fish over a bed of yellow rice. My associate/son picks the "chopped steak". Oy, he didn't realize it's just a giant hamburger. And he wants to take over my business. Oy again. Ok so my lunch. It comes out and at first appears to be just a pile of yellow rice with a couple of rings of calimari on top. At first I'm disappointed but then I start to move the rice around and seafood starts pouring out. Shrimp, clams, mussels, calimari of course, shrimp. A lot of food, in fact way too much for me. I was full, and half the food was left on my plate. Overall a good lunch, and yes I would go back, but next time I'll order a smaller meal. Thanks again Christian for the recommendation.

16oz Rib Eye (order it, you won't regret it) with a side of broccoli and Seafood Paella for one in the back (order this too!)

Finally got the chance to dine in! My parents have been wanting to take me for awhile. With covid, the groups were socially distanced and all staff members were wearing masks full time. And hand sanitizers were available on each table. Our server, Selvin was THE BEST. He was so friendly, attentive and always checking up on us. Also the other servers and staff members were all great as well. All polite. When the people are great, it truly makes the whole experience so much better. I order the rib eye 16oz cooked medium rare with the side of broccoli. Parents got the sizzling steak and the churrasco with shrimp (Wednesday dinner special- same price as ordering churrasco but comes with shrimp!). To share we got the fried zucchini's and seafood paella for one. I basically slurped the rib eye. Delicious, tender and perfectly cooked. Flavor was perfect and simple. It wasn't super fatty so it was even better. I would eat it again definitely. My parents also loved their choice of meat as well. Couldn't finish the paella but it was delicious. I've had it via takeout so I knew it was going to be delish to begin with. They pack it with so much seafood! It's amazing. Fried zucchini's I've had too via takeout but trust me, it's best when eaten there. Comes out hot and crispy and delish! And that horseradish dip is perfect. Definitely will be stopping by more often! Everything from start to end was great. Highly recommend.

It did not disappoint. Our waiter truly made the experience. She was so lovely, attentive, had great suggestions, and even offered to turn down the loud music as we were right under the speaker (and followed through!). It was very crowded and busy inside, but she made us feel like we were her only table. We started with the pull apart bread with honey butter. Unreal - soft, buttery, deliciousness. We also got the deviled eggs which were solid, filled to the brim. The mac and cheese had penne noodles, an incredible cheese sauce blend, and a crispy top. The french dips were both delicious - the onion just had deep flavor. The reuben dip had a delicious horseradish sauce, though i wish it had more sauerkraut and a more reuben-like feel. Steak frites were reportedly delicious, steak cooked to perfection. We ended the dinner with the oreo ice box pie and 24 layer chocolate cake. The oreo ice box pie is something to write home about. As a cookies and cream lover, this is one of my favorite renditions of it and I could have easily demolished the whole pie myself. Maison Pickle is such a fun restaurant, very reminiscent of Jacob's Pickles. Large portion sizes and a showy display, but also follows through in terms of taste. I was able to make reservations at the last minute on a Sat night despite July being a very touristy month in the city. We ordered Escargot, crispy artichokes, french onion soup, the duck and the steak au poive, all of which were excellent (the duck was very nice). Conclusion- disappointed, as it's 5 years past its prime, as its last Michelin Bib Gourmand (2021) sign had proven prophetic. Pros- the only non-French menu item off the lunch menu, the burger with fries, was one of the tastiest I had anywhere in sometime. Would have been perfect had I ordered it medium rare, instead of medium. One plus is the decent portion size, for both main entrees and appetizers. Cons- all the other French menu items can use room(s) for improvement. Starting with the mussels bowl, although very flavorful, mussels were a bit overcooked, and it can use a bit more butter, and one less pinch of salt in flavoring. Next, the Escargot appetizer can use more flavoring, and the tuna tartare was way too bland, definitely needs more salt, pepper, and whatever other seasoning to enhance its flavor. Service- server attitude was decent; however, the wait times for food for both appetizers & main entrees were way too long, especially given the fact it's a rainy weekday mid-afternoon and there were only 2 other tables of diners. Given its past glory, and fact there are several other Amelies chain locations in NYC, perhaps the owner(s) of this establishment can take my constructive comments to heart?

The calamari was probably the thinnest squid in the ocean and looked like shoestring fries, but the sauce it came in was delicious. There were approximately three zucchini sticks and four peppers in the calamari, which is on par with many restaurants, but less bang for your buck. It eventually became clear after another 10 min wait that our truffle fries were nowhere to be seen, and since we had to leave for our dinner reservation soon we struggled to flag a server, who then told us that they never put in our fries order. We obviously did not ask them to start making it for us, instead asking for the bill and then leaving. A friend and I chose to experience the Restaurant Week lunch special since neither of us had been to this restaurant before. We sat at the bar and decided to go for the $19 lunch special they serve Monday - Friday instead. We had alot of staff servicing us. Even though we sat at the actual bar, we had a floor server attending to us as well as the bar staff. We even met the manager, Tiffany, as she introduced herself to us and made sure we were taken care of properly. The UWS location is huge. It is about 2/3rds of a North/South block with an enclosed patio built in the front of the restaurant. The bar is simply beautiful. It is half inside and half on the sidewalk also semi enclosed. I did not walk around the inside of the restaurant but I did see there were alot of mirrors and a darker interior. Bar was filled with liquor on the walls and gave it a modern day saloon feel. Very comfortable and inviting. We ordered drinks initially. They were carefully crafted and tasty on a hot summer day. I ordered the Waldorf Salad lunch special and my friend had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I must say the portions are large. They make sure you do not leave hungry! :) Both entrees came with soup and a second side. I had the biscuit and honey/maple butter. Oh my was it heavenly. My friend was super satisfied with her sandwich. It looked like a meal fit for a Queen! All of the food was seasoned well. While we were still enjoying our meal the bar changed from lunch to happy hour service. My friend decided to order the Margarita flight. It came with three flavored margaritas for a mere $12. I tried the Spicy Brine Margarita and it will now be the only drink I have for future visits. So delicious and flavorful. We were having such a great time as the bar filled with patrons and we spoke with our neighbors. At this time one of our servers brought us a complimentary pretzel. It was the star of the show from presentation to taste I would recommend anyone to try it. The bathrooms are unisex. By the time I needed to use it the restaurant was crowded and so it needed to be serviced. The stall I utilized had a strong urine smell and needed a proper cleaning. Management might consider placing air fresheners in each stall to at least give the illusion of cleanliness. This restaurant raised the bar for hospitality! The service was top notch as well as the food and atmosphere. If you have not tried this place I highly suggest that you do. It is a 100 out of 10 establishment for NYC! My gratitude goes out to all of the wait staff and bartenders that made our experience so wonderful.

Brunch at Jacob's Pickles is a real treat. I ordered the coleslaw with pickles as a side, it was delicious. The breakfast platter was absolutely massive and overall good, a bit salty for me, and the biscuit was a bit soft. But the grits were delightful. I sat at the bar, so the service was fine, though not particularly memorable. What I loved most was the patio: it's partially open and partially enclosed, letting you enjoy plenty of natural light while staying cool in the air conditioning. It gives you the feeling of dining outdoors without the noise or wind from the street. The interior design is beautiful and adds so much to the experience. I definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll certainly be back to try more of the menu!
