I really wanted to give them five stars, but the service was lacking. 2nd time I've visited this location and it's in a prime spot right along the Oceanside pier. Highly recommend making reservation so you can sit on their sun patio and enjoy the views. They have a great menu, it's very beach chic so no need to dress up extra fancy just avoid beach wear, flip flops and tank tops. The food has always been excellent, no complaints at all, it's always just the service. This time around I asked player 2 if our waitress was having a bad day as soon as she came to the table. Dinner will run you about 200$ or more but it's worth it. We did the steak and sea for 2, plus the large seafood tower. Taste was phenomenal and their mash potatoes hit every single time! So good. If you're in the area and want to celebrate anything, including being on the beach. Enjoy a swim with the ocean friends and then eat some later lol.

Recommended by a friend for their happy hour, this place did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the hostess gave us a very warm and welcoming greeting. The food was absolutely delicious:Meatballs: Tender, perfectly cooked, and smothered in cheese and a special sauce.Mussels: Incredibly flavorful.Calamari: Super tender and cooked just right. The drinks were exceptionally well-balanced, and the layout of the restaurant is great, featuring plenty of tables surrounding a central bar. To top it all off, our server who is also the bartender, PAUL, was amazing. Based on this fantastic experience, I give it a 4.8 out of 5! UPDATE: the spicy pineapple which we ordered last was perfect!!! Great mixing Paul!

Had a girls' night out dinner at 333 Pacific and really enjoyed the overall experience. I'd personally give it a 4.5-stars. We arrived early for our reservation, so we walked the pier while we waited, and I appreciated that they texted us once our table was ready. One thing to note is they close on the earlier side at 9 p.m. The ambiance was really nice too -- definitely on the fancier side, but not so fancy that it felt stuffy or uncomfortable. We started with the hot sourdough bread and maple spice butter, which was addicting. I also ordered the wedge salad and liked that the blue cheese wasn't overly pungent. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very tender, though I do wish it came out hotter since it was basically room temperature when served. The whipped potatoes were buttery and creamy, and the short rib was rich, flavorful, and fall-apart tender. The creamed spinach could've used more salt in my opinion. They were definitely heavy-handed on the spices as the spicy kick at the end caught me off guard. We ended the night with the flourless chocolate cake and wow... definitely worth the calories. Service was also great. Leo was attentive throughout the meal, and his team always made sure our waters stayed full. Solid spot for a girls' night or date night in Oceanside.

Great restaurant with a fabulous selection of fresh seafood. Lots of other menu items as well!! Their warm bread that they start you with is the best. Such an attentive staff!!! Large portions!! Large restaurant with lots of seating, but still recommended to make reservations. Beautiful views!!

333 Pacific was a solid four stars for me. While there were some things they excelled at, there were a few disappointments that detracted from the overall experience. One thing that was really stellar about 333 Pacific was we made reservations for their first time slot of the day at noon, and despite arriving about 12 minutes early before opening, we were still able to be seated. We drove nearly an hour to get here and it was pretty windy outside, so we appreciated the opportunity to be out of the elements. Our waitress was very nice and throughout our meal multiple staff assisted. No one ever missed a beat. They were all very pleasant and worked well together. You could tell the morale here is very high! We stared out with the calamari, which was- easily a 5 star dish! It was fried to perfection and the melange of sauces drizzled on top were *chefs kiss* excellent! Before our entree arrived they also brought out some piping hot Rosemary Bread Rolls along with some Maple Butter. I thought it was pretty good, but I wish the presence of the rosemary was dialed back so I could taste more of the Maple Butter. For an entree I had the Ahi Tuna Burger lunch special with fries. The seared Ahi Tuna was great and there was a very generous portion served on the burger. The Brioche bun was not very good though, and I feel the shallots on the burger were a bit overwhelming. The fries with the dish were good, but pretty standard fare. I would've preferred the option of a small green salad instead of fries if it was available. My husband ordered the Cioppino. I tried it and it was delicious- another 5 star dish! It had a very deep flavor and lots of seafood. A lot of work to get to some of the seafood, but well worth the effort. The main miss of the meal was my husband ordered a Dr. Pepper and it was flat. He let the waitress know and she went to another station to get a fresh one, and it too, was on the flat side. By this point, my husband just wanted water since the carbonation wasn't up to par. The waitress did a great job and really tried to fix the situation, but the carbonation just wasn't working. I had a Strawberry Lemonade which was fine, but could've used a little oomph for the $8 price tag. Another miss was the terrible smell in the women's restroom. It was either dry drain or some other plumbing issue, but it was pretty bad. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Overall, we did have a nice lunch here with a great view of the beach. The things that were amiss can easily be fixed, so I'm sure they are not permanent issues. Glad to have dined here, the staff really elevated the experience and made us feel very welcomed.

Flat iron steak

I was recently invited to a dinner here. It's been a few years since I've been back due to the fact that I had a few experiences that left me disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to return. Surprisingly, I had a nice night. I had a great little salad that had a lot of flavor, even though it was very simple. I had the short rib, which was very good and quite filling to the point I couldn't even finish it. Much better than the last time I had it flavor wise and for dessert I had the sorbet special which was also good. It seems something has changed since my last visits and I would like to try it again to see if it wasn't just a good night.

Filet mignon with a little piece of salt on it I guess and mushroom risotto.
Zen X.

It was just okay. Disappointed in the filet mignon. Got it medium rare but was still a bit chewy. Not much flavor. The mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and mushroom risotto were good though. The service was top notch and I like the blue-lit bar tops. I guess you're just paying for the location more than anything.

I've been to 333 Pacific on several occasions and finally wanted to write this legit review. It's located in the heart of downtown Oceanside by the Pier. This is the best location for amazing ocean views while dining. When I'm there, I feel welcomed. The staff are so friendly and very helpful at the same time being on top of the table service. Of course, the food is on another level...usually tastes really good. But, I did eat an eggnog bread pudding for dessert that was a bit on the dry side. Overall, I always enjoy 333 Pacific :-) FYI: It's recommended to make reservations.

333 Meatballs
Golden Girl ..

I usually frequent C Level or Island Prime but I decided to try this hidden gem for Restaurant Week. My server Leo was very attentive and polite and was on top of things as my appetizer and entree came out piping hot. I absolutely LOVED the 333 Meatballs as they were covered in this flavorful crispy prosciutto blue cheese fondue. The Mary's Chicken Breast was also very succulent and moist, which is hard to do with white meat. Although the presentation was pretty, I didn't care for the cheesecake though. Don't get me started on the amazing view as this place is located right across the street from the Oceanside Pier. All in all a great dining experience! I definitely want to come back and try their Happy Hour.

We came here to celebrate our twins 21st birthday. I'm quite glad we did! Our server was so sweet and he was very helpful on options for everyone. We ordered a couple appetizers (Mac and short ribs, Brussels and the ahi tartar) and was served pretty quickly and was tasty. We sat out on the patio and were able to people watch an enjoy the beautiful weather we were having. The air was fresh and ambience was great. My husband liked short tomahawk pork chop and said it was juicy and cooked perfectly. I had the branzino and it was perfectly cooked. Our twins received a complementary flourless chocolate birthday dessert, they liked that. It was sweet that everyone who passed wished our twins a happy birthday and so did the tables around us (super sweet). Staff was friendly from beginning to end. Can't wait to comeback for a girls HH and a walk on the pier.

When we first arrived it was a nice up-kept restaurant, however, the napkin was dirty (only one of the two thankfully). The server did not give great service at all, he was just glad he minimally had a job it seemed and didn't care about us customers. Food came and it was alright, not the most tasty but it did for the time being. Will we be going back? No but it was worth a shot since we were hungry and not from the area.

How can I reserve a table?

Go to their website. There's a link (labeled "Reservations" on the upper R hand corner) and that'll take you to the Open Table app. You can make your rez there.

Do they allow dogs on the patio?

No, the patio is kinda inside. I have never not once seen a dog inside the restaurant.

Didn't see menu prices so went elsewhere. Hiding something?

They have a menu with prices right outside their entrance. You can also see pictures of menu on Yelp reviews.

Is there a dress code?

Must wear shoes and shirt 🤣. Casual or dressy. Anything is fine.

Is there drinks on the happy hour menu? I only see food on the website.

Yes there were drinks when I was there in April.

Is there a large room available for private parties?

Yes!

Are dogs allowed on patio?

Hi Kim, 333 Pacific only allows service dogs on their patio area.…

Is this a ok place for kids?

I think so since they have a variety of options. I do not believe that they have a kids menu however.

What is the corkage fee?

Hi Alyssa, 333's corkage fee is $20.…

Are they located by the pier?

Yes!

Can you eat anything at happy hour or is it a fixed menu? Can you make a reservation for the vodka lounge?

They do have items on their menu that are priced differently for Happy Hour. As far as the Vodka Lounge I have just walked in, so I am not sure if they require a reservation.

No champagne brunch?

I believe they have A brunch on the weekends. Don't know about the Champagne though!

I promise you it's really that good, please try both. Our cocktails were PERFECTLY made. The staff was on it, I mean you can tell they work as a team. We came here Labor Day weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday…read more My dad had called ahead to reserve a table since it was 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We were seated right away. We started with some appetizers - my favorite was the crispy brussel sprouts and cauliflower. Everything was perfectly roasted and there was a great kick with the habanero jam feta. The fly basket was pretty good, but keep in mind that the portion size is small - 3 of each of the hush puppies, fried shrimp, and fried green tomatoes. My husband ordered one of the specials which was a short rib pot pie - one of our favorite dishes of the night. The short rib was so tender and the dish was rich but in the perfect way. I ordered the tri tip sando. It was loaded up with meat and grilled peppers and onions. I upgraded my fries to truffle fries and those were really flavorful! My mom ordered the cioppino. She was a little disappointed by how many mussels there were in the dish - she had been hoping for more fish and shrimp. She said the flavor was good though. For dessert, we did opt to try the beignets. Honestly I could have done without them. They weren't as light and fluffy as they could've been. Overall, it was a good experience with great accommodations for our toddlers and great service.

I did let them know that if there was an extra service charge to let me know and I'd be happy to pay it, and I know we were a large party during peak hours. Service was absolutely abysmal. I was so disappointed. Took an hour for our appetizers to be ordered and come out and our food took longer. A lot of the sauces we ordered on the side were rancid, and waiters hardly checked in. We found ourselves having to get up from our table multiple times to go find a server to refill water, grab more silverware, etc. Also took 45 minutes for them to clear the table so we could do cake. We had to request small dessert plates 3 times and they still didn't bring out enough. Overall, food is great (minus the rancid sauces) and it's a good price. But I was super disappointed at the level of service we were given. Would I return? Maybe during lunch. For a birthday with more than 3 people? Absolutely not.

It's one of those dishes that makes you wonder how they managed to make a vegetable taste so incredible. I would come back just to order it again! The cornbread was another standout. It was such a great addition to the meal and definitely something I'd recommend ordering for the table. Between the broccoli and cornbread, the sides were honestly the most memorable part of our dinner. We also ordered the ribeye, which made for a great main course to share alongside everything else.
