I had the prime rib dinner served only on Fridays. Prime rib was juicy, tender and flavorful. Cooked to medium rare perfection. They add some sort of mustard rub on the sides that was interesting. Grilled asparagus was delicious. My knocks were the horseradish, was a little too mild for me. And my stuffed mashed potato was kind of dry and didn't have much stuffing, bits of pork and a little bit of cheese. Could have definitely used some butter to negate the dryness. Service was good. Ambience was nice although there were families that brought babies at every table it seemed. Don't get bringing babies to nice restaurants but maybe that's just me. Overall one of the best prime ribs I've had. If you can make it on a Friday, the prime rib is the star of the show. read more

Went here for brunch today. Not bad! We had reservations since we had a big party, when we arrived we were immediately sat. So that was nice! Food: good and reasonably priced. 1. We ordered the loco moco. I was a bit skeptical since I've had a fair amount of loco mocos in my time. The eggs were perfect, the burger was tasty, the gravy had sausage bits which was a nice surprise. The only thing lacking was the rice. It was under cooked and almost tasted like it was rice left over from the nice before. 2. The steak and eggs was great! Steak was perfectly cooked medium. 3. chilaquiles was tasty, not as spicy as I would like it but the chips were crispy! Service: AWESOME! Nothing bad to say! Super attentive and friendly! Oh wow, thank you for the medical rundown, Dr. 320. I actually work for a prominent hospital in OC and--you'll love this--what I contracted was Campylobacter and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli O157, complete with the delightful pairing of Shiga toxins 1 and 2. Truly a gourmet experience. So while you're busy crafting snarky replies and pretending nobody else could possibly get sick, I was busy collecting lab results, antibiotics, and missing 10 days of work--because, surprise, bacterial infections aren't exactly a staycation. Also, just so we're clear, my wife and I used to come to your restaurant 3-6 times a month. We genuinely loved the place. But after this, and your absolutely stellar customer service response, that's clearly not happening anymore. Hope the sarcasm in your reply keeps other sick people from bothering you with facts. read more

As a local on the hill, I would love to patronize this restaurant more because the food is solid, but the service is just terrible. It's almost like there is a lack of training with the girls that work there because our last three experiences were poor and in all honesty, a tinge of attitude with some of the girls that work there . Almost as if they cannot even be bothered . seems like there's a lack of training on even the most simplistic level with zero acknowledgment for the delays. Getting our salad before getting our drinks, not greeting our table for 15 minutes when the place is empty etc. etc. Working in the service industry for many years I'm understanding of the mishaps and delays that can happen, but when there is a consistent lack of acknowledgment for bad timing and communication it's really a turn off. Went here with our daughter who really likes the place and lives around the corner. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Ambiance is nice and a bit dark inside. Place was comfortable with a nice bar business. Good menu options at reasonable prices. We have been let down with patty melts elsewhere and was hoping for redemption and they delivered! We had a perfect patty melt with garlic fries and now have a go to place for a good patty melt. On the salad side I suggest going elsewhere. There wedge salad had two overly thick uncut slices of bacon which they should change. I don't mind thick bacon but these slices were too thick and too chewy. The blue cheese was minimal and weak. The Caesar salad was not good looking or tasting. It's too easy to make these salads better. The burger was also excellent. They have great apps. We tried the bang bang shrimp and filet mignon meatballs. Both were excellent! They aren't 5 star worthy based on lousy salads but deserve more than 4. I would say 4.25. Super popular spot that I haven't gotten a chance to try dinner yet, but I don't mind since the bar area is solid! It's open seating around the bartender or a couple tables beside it, and their servers are just as attentive as at a regular table. They have traditional drinks but also creative craft cocktails that will please anyone in your party. I personally love their Penicillin, which is (ironically) killer. It's shaken perfectly to make a nice froth, perfectly tart and sweet, and topped with a crystalized ginger on a stick that's delicious dipped in while sipping. I will definitely be back to try their food, which with options such as steak, stroganoff, pasta alfredo, just screams comfort and come in really large portions. Try to remember to make a reservation or be prepared to wait an average of 30 minutes. read more

Food pretty presentation and better than anything I can ever cook- 5 stars from me! I have vegetarian friends and they said the selection was more than friendly and wonderful (not vegan). I had chillesquilles (spelling?) flavorful not really spicy- I asked for tapatio and put some on it. I like my eggs over easy and runny - cooked perfectly! We scored a nook in the patio at 1:30 pm on a Sunday! I ordered a Bloody Mary - no celery. Basic with a lemon slice (not a lime) and a tiny olive on a wooden toothpick. This is not a come here for Bloody Mary and mimosa place -- the person said they ran out of celery? And the breakfast drink was not flourishing with garnish like at the usual brunch spots I eat at. That being said-- I am the only alcohol drinker in my lady group. Soooo come here for food- family ambience- nice patio- and friendly staff. Service is a bit slow- I think on the patio it is just hard to be seen- just wave at someone and they're friendly and come over. Everywhere else the wait was 90 min to 45 minutes... this was our 4th spot choice at seal beach after walking 4 miles at Naples Canal. I am super happy with the FOOD!!! do not come here if you are a "Bloody Mary and mimosa brunch" person like me. Service very friendly and nice. All smiles. Parking - street- good luck on the weekend.... you may need to walk a few blocks. But it's the beach area-- lots to look at and let the ocean air fill your lungs. Sad to write this, especially with it being 3/20 their "national day" for the restaurant. My boyfriend and I decided to go here tonight. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, it was awesome until we found a hair in it. We told the other server, but didn't catch her name, she examined the plate and asked "what hair?" When both my boyfriend and I were pointing to it, not to mention we put it on the side so it could be seen. Once getting another one, we then waited for our main courses. We put our order in at the same time as our apps, we waited over an hour before the crowd even showed up. I got the chicken Caesar and the chicken was so dry, I had to stop eating it after a while. My boyfriend got the rib eye and asked for medium. It was definitely cooked to be well done, and we had the manager come to our table asking if we wanted dessert when we hadn't received our entrees yet. After she left our table to "check on things" we saw the kitchen thrown something on with a huge flame. Where both believe was his steak being cooked. You came to our table exactly 2 times. The first time you came to our table you asked if we were done and ready for dessert when we hadn't even gotten out main course. Again her chicken was dry and my steak was over cooked (after you came over I saw in the kitchen that they put on some food on the grill and a big flame go up into the vents) and the second time you came to our table we called you over to ask about an employee that used to work there apparently before a transfer of ownership. We have been here a few times. But last night is last time. I will not be going back. My husband ordered a dry martini straight up. Twice it came back with a "minty" vermouth. I ordered a prime rib dip. I had only eaten less than half when I found, what the owner said was cheese with a broccoli stem in the sandwich. I was only inquiring as to what it was. I had an entire half a sandwich left when she took my plate and never brought it back ‍. I was going to take the other half home. I was still charged for the sandwich I didn't get to eat. Needless to say, service was bad. It is unfortunate because we really like the appetizer they have with the Mac n cheese and shrimp. Visiting Seal Beach and we met up with some friends for Brunch at 320 Main....good times. Reservation was for 12 PM and our table was ready for us on time. The outdoor seating in the parking lot was comfortable and they had umbrellas to keep the shade on us. There's plenty of people watching opportunities as the sidewalk was adjacent to our table Our server was extremely friendly and kept the bottomless mimosas coming as fast as we could drink them. Fantastic. We shared the avocado toast as an appetizer and it was yum. Aesthetically pleasing but more importantly all the ingredients were fresh to keep the flavor optimal. I went with the cheeseburger with the fried egg of course. Prepped to a perfect medium as I requested, this was tasty brunch cheeseburger that I enjoy pairing up with bottomless mimosas. The BFF had the beef hash. She mentioned the plate was a little bland then she expected but nothing major. Overall, everyone enjoyed the brunch plates. After enjoying a morning walk on the pier, my husband and I were ready to breakfast in Seal Beach. First time visit at 320 Main. It was such a beautiful morning we decided to sit outdoors. Our server was a delight and she recommended several dishes, one of which was the breakfast burrito. It certainly did not disappoint! Filled with short rib, chorizo, egg and potatoes, it was delicious! Half of the burrito is more than enough for one meal so I look forward to enjoying the other half tomorrow. My husband ordered the all American breakfast with two eggs, two large sausages, potatoes and toast. I must admit, I tried a bite of the sausage and it was very tasty! Our waitress was able to answer all of our questions with very honest answers. Everyone that we met at the restaurant was very nice. The menu is fairly large, but everything off of it is really tasty. The Brussell sprout appetizer was amazing and was a crowd favorite. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. To make our experience even more special, we went for a birthday, and they gave us a special birthday Ice cream. 320 Main was a lovely dinner experience on a Saturday night (10/12/19). We had a reservation for the restaurant but there wasn't a wait at all so we could have had our dinner without one. Before our reservation we came and sat at the bar for happy hour to enjoy the $5 cocktails that they had. We had the White Lion and the Harvest Moon and they were simple but very delicious; a perfect mix of alcohol and flavors that were definitely worth the money. For our meals we ordered the Brussels Sprouts, Short Rib Stroganoff and the New York Steak. Each dish was perfectly flavored and the portions of each item were great. The Brussels Sprouts were cooked with a Balsamic Vinaigrette reduction that had flavors that popped with every bite. The texture for the Brussels Sprouts was perfect and has a wonderful crisp and caramelization from the reduction. I would highly recommend ordering this! The Stroganoff was very hearty and flavorful. I particularly loved the noodles in the dish and the short rib was savory and deliciously melted with every bite. Definitely a 10/10. Next up was the New York Steak with a double baked potato. Truly a beautiful steak with a lovely char over a juicy steak. The twice baked potato essentially a baked potato boat with mashed potato on top then covered in melted cheese. The entire Front of House was very attentive and kind to us but the hostess in particular was exceptional in her service (we forgot her name). They finished up our dinner with a complementary cake for my boyfriend's birthday that was truly outstanding and a perfect end to our time here at 320 Main. read more

Inside is split into a bar area and dining space with tables and booths plus there's patio seating in front if you want to enjoy the sun. The theme is tiki, which I love, and they have fantastic cocktails on that theme. We had a Mai Tai and Singapore Sling both of which tasted great and were nice & strong. The bartender here is the real deal slinging some really great recipes. The food was some of the best I've had! The Fried Rice was THE BEST FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER HAD!! A ton of fresh shrimp, bacon & mushrooms with a perfect fried egg on top. Boom! Yummy!! We also ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese w/ Fries OMG, it was soooo good!! I feel like calling it a grilled cheese sandwich doesn't do it justice. This is the grilled cheese sandwich you want when you order one anyplace else. Well here it is! We also got to talk to Chef Ryan and tell him how much we loved his food! Ryan is a really friendly guy and was telling us that they are bringing new items and specials to the menu. You could tell he's really passionate about his food and the restaurant. The service was also great, I wish I could remember the waitresses name but she was sweet, helpful & attentive. It pains me to rate 320 so low because we have been there before but it seems the food is getting worse every time we go. We love the ambience, the drinks, the service staff are all great and so nice. BUT, if you order a $40+ piece of meat, it should be top notch. I ordered the ribeye medium. A quarter of it was inedible fat. The meat was cooked well on the thin part and medium well in the thicker part. Not even close really. The taste would have been bland if I hadn't got the bleu cheese crust. That is where all the flavor was. Not any in the meat. The hangar steak my partner ordered was just okay as well. Not very tasty. Scalloped potatoes were undercooked, calamari wasn't fresh, and the garlic + parsley fries had no parsley on them (waitress said they ran out?? Isn't the market still open?) The squash was really good. I definitely am willing to go again, but I truly am disappointed. This place used to be our favorite restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would. We went to eat last night and was told there was a 30 minute wait and so we went to the bar to have drinks. We sat up at the bar and it took 15 minutes to receive a drink. We ordered two appetizers and found out after 30 minutes they were out. We ordered dinner and our dinner never arrived after 60 plus minutes we cancelled our dinner. We walked down to Hennessy's to have pub food. Which was good. We have given this restaurant 3 times to get it right since Covid and it's just been terrible. I'm so sad! read more

Ambiance: Fantastic for a relaxing Sunday afternoon Service: Friendly, smiling people but some improvement could be made I really wanted to write a glowing review of this place. It was so nice to kick back with some mellow music with good AC where we could look out the window and see people walking on Main in Seal Beach, and when we were one of the only two people there, the drinks came quickly. They even brought one I didn't order, which the one of the staff drank (my guest said) as I was going to switch to wine and didn't want another beer. But keep this in mind, they don't start dinner until 3:00 pm, and I was told they are really just warming until 3:10 pm. All good, it was 2:30 pm when we sat down and I got a drink and eventually ordered a house salad, which was fresh and came with a great lemon vinaigrette. We always pay attention to the house salad and they passed the bar here. But keep in mind, we told two of the employees we saw we were there for the dinner menu and would wait until after 3:00 pm. It was dead there anyway so we figured they wouldn't mind me sipping beers and my guest having water until we could order. And eventually we did, about 3:15 or 3:20 (at the latest; the receipt says 2:45 but that was probably the salad) with the calamari as an appetizer and the beef stroganoff and the filet, medium rare, with garlic fries instead of one of the sides, and pesto on the side. I don't like anything touching my steak, so anything everything separate. All ordered at the same time. The calamari was decent, but the sauce was cool (as in cold) and it wasn't anything special. But it came with some slaw that was decent as well. So we weren't off to a bad start. Eventually, I switched from beer to wine and ice water, and the server was nice enough to bring me a taster of the Opolo red they had. Opolo's reds pretty much used to all have a similar flavor profile, so I figured I'd order it anyway, but the taster was a nice touch. At about 4:00 pm, I went to the back to ask on the status of the main course, as it had been some time since we ordered. Our server said she would check, but meanwhile I realized I would have to power walk to the beach and back to put more money in the machine (bad knee). No points off for this, but our food was there when I returned, and probably came out right after I left. So I see the filter and the pesto (not separate) and had a try of the filet. There was still some warmth but it was almost tasteless. I asked for more water, but it didn't have any ice. So I asked for a larger glass (like my guest's soda) and ice water, as the water glasses are the width of Champagne flutes and appear difficult to pour ice water into. I got the same glass, but it was on to the garlic fries. These were ok, and my extra-dining activities meant they were a little cool, but I gouged on the carbs, wine, and ice water. I was told by my guest that the beef stroganoff was nothing special. So a little long in our dinner arriving. If I assume that our early dinner arrived right as I left for the parking lot, it still would have been at least 42 minutes since we ordered it. So a little long, especially considering there was almost no other customers that we could see. They do have a back area and I think they have an upstairs, or so one of the signs outside implied. So I will give them three stars for the unknowns, and they aren't at fault for the food being just a little warm. But nothing of the entrees suggested that being hotter would have made them taste much better. I could see this place being a great bar and appetizer spot, but dinner? Best show up later and have plenty of time on the meter. read more

First time but not my last! Great service. Delicious cocktails. Yummy food. Amazing ambiance. We came on a night with live music and it was such a fun surprise. The song selection was perfect, the kind of music everyone can sing along with. The volume was just enough to hear over the busy dining room, but not so loud that you can't hear your neighbor. You can make a song request and tip if you want. Food was absolutely delicious. The weather was cold so I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. My friend had the short rib stroganoff. Both meals were super tasty. We also ordered drinks from the bar. They have an incredible craft cocktail selection that leaves nothing to be desired. My husband and I loved our anniversary dinner here! Our first visit and we were very pleased with the customer service, appetizers, sides, and dessert! I ordered Mahi-Mahi, asparagus, and garlic fries which was delicious and perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed his ribeye, twice baked potato, and sautéed mushrooms. To top off our night, we devoured "The Fried Elvis" for dessert. A must try! What I appreciated the most was the owner/executive chef added 2 chocolate covered strawberries with a "Happy Anniversary" to our dessert. A nice token of appreciation.
