The tomatoes on my open-faced pesto grilled cheese sandwich tasted like... tomatoes, actually! At least the ones I remember from when I was a kid. Was not expecting something so simple to taste so good and fresh! I was by myself-- and don't usually like dining alone, but as soon as I entered the door, the bartender, Josh, made me feel right at home. Later on, the owner came over and chatted with customers for a while-- which was so nice! The atmosphere is welcoming and hip, with a romantic feel (great date setting), and the food fantastic. My only complaint is that it is so far from Fountain Hills. The fact that I'll be back, with friends, despite the drive, says a lot. I'm trying the Happy Hour, next time! read more

1 of my favorite spots in Phoenix hands down. Best coffee in the valley, all the servers are cool, friendly and actually care about your order/ experience which is rare these days. Support high quality small business like 32 Shea !!! Infinitely better than corporate coffee chains. All the food is top notch, awesome cocktails, great ambiance. 32 Shea is as good as it gets !! read more

Friendly staff, delicious mocha latte with oat milk, yummy burritos and croissant breakfast sandwiches. Dog friend patio too!

Best service / coffee / food in town. Always with a smile and a great outdoor patio.

This small spot in the corner of Shea and 32nd St is always great to relax with a nice drink and the lovely choice of appetizers they offer during happy hour. We come here often and never disappoints. The servers are busy but always take the time to stop by and check how things are going. The psychedelic lights in the bathroom are a nice touch, very well designed. The outdoor patio is also nice for larger gatherings, I went there with people at work and with my family on New Year. They put those heaters lamps and made it nice and warm. Highly recommend it. read more

I've driven by here numerous times and never stopped in...that will never happen again. This place is GREAT! Had fresh coffee only but will be back for more soon. Terrific atmosphere, killer patio (not current open due to Covid-19 lockdown), great music. VERY reminiscent of when I lived in Seattle. Nicole and Barry are great. Stop in and say hi. I will be back! read more

Fun, cute place for brunch, lunch, I have never been for dinner. Limited food options, but they are all good. The coffees and other drinks options are also good. The patio (pretty much the only place to sit and eat is dog friendly, which is nice. read more

Just moved to the neighborhood. Was told about this place by a friend. Absolutely fantastic! Excellent happy hour(munchie hour) menu. Great service by Jo Jo & Aubrey. Just had three bruschettas. All were amazing. Falling water fixture in an enclosed patio makes for a truly peaceful experience, even though it's right on 32nd St. in a strip mall. My dog is with me, & live music is about to start. I cannot wait to come back. Well done! read more

Great ambiance on the patio. Love the turkey stack sandwich & their ice tea is great too. Be weary of finding a seat though! Patio is poppin during lunch rush. read more

I would put 10 stars if I could. The Friday 11/25 night manager is amazing! The best customer service I have received. He goes above & beyond for the customers. read more

I'm a huge espresso coffee drinker and their "Nutella Mocha" is, by far, my favorite espresso drink in the Phoenix Metro. Plus, it's the cheapest around way below Starbucks' outrageous prices! A highly recommended place with a nicely decorated patio and very friendly service. read more

Beautiful patio, and great ambience. Food is always reasonably priced and excellent quality. Everyone is always nice. Love this place.

My first and definitely not my last dining experience here. Wonderful and healthy meal choices at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and efficient. We received our meals soon after we ordered them. It was the perfect location for my son and I to enjoy lunch before he heads back to college. Thank you! read more

This has been a long time coming. This review is about how this business is ran, the employees/service, the food and my personal experience. My husband come often enough, and we have always tired to give it the benefit of the doubt. But today was an experience. I personally have 15+ years of customer service so this is coming from someone who knows the business, including restaurant. We came in today using the drive thru. We always notice every time we come in how many people are working and how unorganized it is. I don't know who is managing this place but the level of staff and the efficiency don't match up. We sat at the window almost 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us, not even a "hey, we'll be right with you!" Nothing. Once we were helped it was from a girl who's face was peeling. I don't know what she had going on, but someone should have pulled her aside and kindly let her know that's a health violation and she needs to do something about it, because she's handling peoples food and beverages and my husband and I were extremely disturbed. Sun burn? Ok, put some aloe on it, but Myself or other customers don't need someone with dead skin dangling off their face handing our food/beverages. Uncomfortable conversation, yes. But managers need to step it up, your running a restaurant. Take care of the personal hygiene. Once we ordered we pulled forward like normal and waited, someone else brought our food to the car and as we pulled away we realized our order was wrong. So we come back in and I explain what we had asked for and our order was quickly fixed. Once I got back to the car I open up my container of food and there is a black hair in my salad. I was given a free lunch coupon, but honestly My husband and I are so grossed out, we won't be eating here again. Here is where I'm at... Poor customer service, poorly managed, inefficiency, health violation/hygiene. We have given this place so many chances, but this was it for me. No more. Good luck! read more

Our favorite coffee shop! They take the time to get your order right are always friendly. The breakfast burrito is awesome, as well as the bruschetta options. Dine in or drive thru, we always have a great experience at 32 Shea. read more

This is a Phoenix gem! If you've never been you are missing out. It is part coffee shop, part restaurant. The service is always excellent and the food is great. A wonderful outdoor atmosphere is great for dinner or hanging out with friends. read more

So, I've been going to this cool coffee joint for a few years now. I've always liked their jumbo iced vanilla latte, and my wife usually gets their iced Nutella mocha. The drink consistency is not bad from each time I've had my latte. On the food side, my favorite is the bacon cheddar waffles...the other food items are hit and miss sometimes, but I'm usually there for the coffee. Overall, really fun place, though somewhat small, so it can get busy from time to time. read more

Great local place for coffee, wine, beer, and food. Always amazing!

Called ahead of time to order ONE burrito. Had never been before so I wasn't sure how busy they would be. Gal I spoke with was very nice and said I could pick up in the drive thru in about 10 min. Cool. I showed up about 10 min later, paid in the drive thru then pulled forward to wait an additional 10 min for ONE burrito. When the gal brought my food out she apologized saying that there was someone who showed up just before me and ordered 10 burritos in the drive thru. Ummmmm, wouldn't my ONE burrito that I called in before that car showed up have been ready for me when I was told it would be?! I showed up when I was told to. Just kind of annoying. The New Mexico burrito was good, the salsa was fantastic but I hesitate coming back if their ordering/pickup standards are so skewed. read more

A hidden gem! Initially I thought this was a drive thru coffee stand. To my surprise they serve breakfast, lunch dinner and happy hour. An adorable pet friendly patio that was busy what look like with local patrons. Inside tables and bar seating. Cozy fit and counter service for lunch. Check out the unique bathroom. The entire staff was extremely friendly and going the extra mile to make every guest welcome. read more

I can't even understand how it is that I haven't already reviewed this gem because I've been here dozens of times but most often am just driving thru. 32Shea is super conveniently located near 32nd st and Shea Blvd immediately off Hwy 51 (piestewa fwy) making it simple to hop off and grab some java. Everything about this business exemplifies the uniqueness of a small local business which makes this little coffee shop a community treasure in my honest opinion. First of all the building is a clever architectural design tv show Dream in this sense that they somehow manage to consistently pack in the maximum use of every inch with equal amounts of substance and style. In addition to its awesome atmosphere is a fabulous menu that features gourmet all day from morning coffee to cocktails after dinner. Even the green smoothies are delicious! I routinely order the egg white bite breakfast as it's a personal favorite but have occasionally ventured out to other menu items and always been delighted. It's a great place to study or meet up with other people. Patio umbrellas, heaters and a Buddha fountain are in the courtyard but the dog friendly crowd and regular customers are reliably pleasant to be around. Inside the seating is tight but functional and the staff is consistently friendly, helpful and efficient. read more

Ahhh 32 Shea! I came here for a first date (yes it was Tinder lol) and it is a great little spot! I found it randomly by searching "coffee shops" on my Maps apps and was very intrigued by the decor and vibe I was seeing. It definitely lived up to my expectations! I wanted a place that both my date and I could enjoy so I liked that they offered coffee/tea AND beer! Haha. Just in case I needed to switch from coffee if ya know what I mean ;) ... just kidding ... The place is in a random location, but quaint and cute and they've done well at making it seem zen and not like you're in the middle of some random plaza and on a major street. It's very small inside but cozy. The patio is great, so pretty visually and birds all around chirpy and happy. Pricing was very reasonable IMO and although I'm not much into (or know about) coffee I enjoyed mine! I didn't try the food and haven't been in the evening so I'm definitely looking forward to exploring this unique find a little more. Great vibes all around! We both really liked the place so needless to say I'm a fan! read more

Cute neighborhood coffeehouse with flare! We had a dark chocolate mocha and a cold brew toddy...both were amazingly good and tasted like they were handcrafted. I'd give this a 4 stars if the food was a little better. We had the yummy yummy, croissant sandwich, NM burrito and an egg Sammy. All were good, but lack a ton of flavor. The eggs were really thick and pretty bland. Reminded me of sheet tray eggs from a buffet. There was also not a lot of bacon in the sandwiches. We will be back, but most likely just for drinks and a pastry. Cool coffeehouse! read more

Been coming here pretty consistently to get work done. The staff is all around nice, and the prices are fair. I usually get an Americano, and a salad or one of the sandwiches, which I highly recommend. Even when there might be an issue with your order, they're quick to offer to fix it and have awesome customer service that I very much appreciated. Also, the vibes here are very chill and calming as there is a water fountain outside and tunes to match the atmosphere. Love this place, and consider it a go-to spot now. read more

This place. So all of the reviews give this place rave reviews....well I'm not. We stopped by on the way home at 7:45 pm. Not many people there and we didn't need much, just two drinks. Waited 20 minutes before even being acknowledged on the patio. Received our H2O and drinks about 10 minutes later only to my disappointment. How is it possible to mess up Tito's & Soda water??? We tasted it and it tasted like cucumber water. The drink was flat ,so when we questioned the waitress she appeared to go back to the bartender to present the problem of the flat cucumber water that was not asked for. Ding-dong comes back and says yes that's Tito's and water but the bartender now stated we don't have soda water, just water.....bottom line - manager was an a-hole, rude and totally non professional. We ended up going down the street for a full meal and real drinks! read more

I LOVE this place! I always like to ask for menu recommendations when I go to a new place. When I asked, the barista was very helpful in giving his favorite menu items as well as their best sellers. He had a great knowledge of the menu and steered me in the right direction! The outdoor seating is heavily shaded and enchanting and there are also a few tables inside if AC is your thing. I'll be back to try more from the menu! read more

new mexico burritooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and their sauceeeeeeeeeee. that's it. that's the review.

First I say I saw this resturant several years before I visited the first time and this was just for a cool drink on a hot day after leaving Ace hardware. Now I patron 32/Shea at least once a week, sometimes 2 and 3. Everyone I take there always want to go back. I'm sure they get tired of seeing me and my friends show up. I have no negative comments, rather they have the best salad in Arizona in my opinion, and you have to try the raspberry vinaigrette. The greens are always fresh and crispy, and it's hard to decide between the sandwiches or salads. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable, and the evening meal on the patio is very pleasing. It's also dog friendly. I close with this: Go, try it once you will return. read more
