32 Shea - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Went here after asking others on nextdoor for some local coffee spots near by. Although I am a through and through Starbucks girl I know now is the time more than ever to support you local business. I ordered a honey rosemary latte and it was delightful. They offer many flavors for the coffee so I will be excited to go back and try the others. Although I didn't get any food the options that were offered look quite yummy. I can't wait to come back and sit out on the super cute patio and try some food when things open up again. read more

When I moved into my apartment, I couldn't understand why this adorable little restaurant was sitting empty. My husband and I were very excited to see people working on it and even more excited when we found out it was a coffee shop. The staff is beyond friendly. The assortment of drinks and their creative specials are always tasty. I haven't tried anything on the sandwich menu, because the breakfast is so good! My fav is the Early Bird Sandwich - egg, avocado and bacon. It's a great addition to a neighborhood I've grown to call home. read more

The New Mexico bfast burrito w/o cheese, add basil - not bad for $5, although it's a bit on the small side. The homemade green salsa is very good. I'd love an option for more veggies. The espresso leaves a LOT to be desired, however. It's an unusually light espresso roast, nothing memorable, a tad bitter. Very helpful and friendly servers/barista. They were running a music class for toddlers on their patio on a Wed morning. Cool. read more

Amazing, cute morning cafe/ evening bistro. You wouldn't think it was as nice a place from the parking lot, but when you walk into the outdoor sitting area its like entering a new place. I greatly adored the garden type outdoor seating and fountain. It was also nice that they allowed pets, its not often I get to go out to eat with my small dog. In the evening I would recommend getting the bruchetta board, I've tried all the types and they're all very tasty. It's one of my main places to go in Phoenix. I would definitely recommend going! read more

I really wanted to like this place but the service was just So slow!! I Came in around 4 and ordered the happy hour pulled pork sliders (came w chips), iced tea, and Brie honey & Apple Bruschetta. It took 30 mins to get our food. I almost thought they completely forgot about it. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. The food came and While the bruschetta was rly delicious (the bread wasn't hard like postinos and was rather soft, which I loved!) the pulled pork sliders were very mediocre and cold! I had asked for sugar for my iced tea and he never came back w it. I was there was an hour, just waiting for my server to come back to check on me, give me a check, and, to see if I needed anything and nothing. The patio was cute but I prob won't come back. read more

Do yourself and your friends a favor and visit this incredible place! The staff are so warm, attentive and inviting. The food and cocktails are amazing. The best part is that the quality is A+ with an excellent value for the price. A little slice of heaven read more

It was only open till 10 and we went at 9:30 but they still served as our bottle of wine and three bruschetta is and we were able to sit out on the patio with our dogs and enjoy the ambience of the Buddha statue soft lighting and waterfall. We were able to take the little bit of wine we couldn't finish home. It's a sweet deal on Tuesday nights with the $20 wine bottle and three types of bruschetta. The wine with the special is all California, which is a little unfortunate as I prefer to drink Italian wine, because of the amount of pesticides used to produce American wine. The Italian Pino Grigio I tried last time was $8 a glass and wonderful. But this this time we just shared the bottle. read more

I have not had their food. I have only gotten their coffee and I was very impressed. They have dairy free options like soy and almond. They have a great vibe walking in. They have a cute little courtyard with a water feature when you walk in to go inside. It's small and quaint inside with tables and a bar top. The people working there are attentive and really nice humans. They also have a drive thru which is kinda nice. I would love to come back for breakfast sometime since it looks yummy read more

32 Shea - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

This has been my neighborhood coffee shop since it opened several years ago. Not the best food but great coffee and atmosphere

I really want to love this place but they'll have to step it up for that to happen. For you speed readers, here's the nutshell: GOOD FOOD, pleasant but *very* slow service, smallish but tasty menu, good beer list, okay wine list, awesome dog-friendly patio with a fountain, great music and vibe. Great features on certain nights of the week (see photos). So tonight, my first time here, I came at 6:30 in the evening, in time for a gorgeous AZ sunset on their awesome little [less than half full] patio, but sadly too late for happy hour. Next time... First and foremost, service was so so so slow. I've been in the industry for twenty years, as a server and manager at places from Chili's to Chelsea's to Mary Elaine's so I totally know and consider all the little cogs moving inside a restaurant "machine" during service. I even took into consideration that I was alone, thus more sensitive to the passing of time. My server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, but he simply needed more support. From what I could tell, he had the twelve table patio all by himself with only one other gentleman bussing and refilling waters. That is simply too much to balance in order to give proper service (but remember I mentioned it was less than half full when I arrived...? No good reason for such slow service). That being said, the food was very fresh and tasty, and worth the prices. I got the daily lavosh pizza and it was TO DIE FOR. Crispy prosciutto, almond slices, diced apples, mozzarella, and arugula. Wow. They have a nice beer list, a few fun craft cocktails, and an okay wine list, which needs to be updated. I ordered a bottle (1/2 off bottles on Monday -- yes please!), but twenty five minutes later when it finally arrived (yes, 25 min, I actually clocked it.. my hummus app arrived first, which was 23 min after ordering) it was a completely different bottle than listed on the menu. I actually only noticed bc the vintage was different. Nbd as by that point I just wanted a flipping glass of wine already and it was actually quite good. Inside is super cute and I can tell they have good decorating sense though it needs some sprucing up (new paint, at least in the restroom). *Love* all the plants hanging around. Overall it's a quaint little local spot, but I'll just keep it in the back of my mind that I should come here expecting service to be slow. That way maybe I'll be impressed if it's better next time. read more

So, fact-good food (not sure where products come from?) Fact-great atmosphere. Fact-placed in a mediocre shopping center complex that looks like half of the suites are closed. If it were 1/2-3/4 mile east in the new Frys shopping center it would be an outstanding area. Overall a MUST try. read more

I love going to 32 Shea to study and read. They have a wonderful patio which I consider an oasis, it has greenery a tranquil fountain and is a great place to get work done. The food and coffee is great and their happy hour prices can't be beat. They staff is also very friendly. read more

What an awesome spot in an unexpected place. Great food, great service and fair prices. I had the special I'd the day (Wednesday is burger and shake). The burger was good although I would rather have fries instead I'd sweet potatoes but oh well. The coffee is pretty good too and they have home made syrups. Cheers Fun fact. I found this place while looking for a somewhere to kill time at for an hour and a half before a Drs appointment after work. The place is quite small but nice and cozy in the inside. On the day I visited, it was cold and rainy, so it was the perfect atmosphere. I had explored the menu a bit before actually going in so I would be more prepared to order. I ordered a Nutella hot cocoa and the OMG sandwich with the soup, which was chicken tortilla on that particular day. I had a few minutes to enjoy my hot cocoa before they brought my lunch to me. When I started on my lunch, it didn't disappoint. The OMG was delicious. There is a ton of flavor and the mixture of the salty prosciutto with the sweet honey, fig and creamy mascarpone was fantastic. I'll definitely visit here again when I am on that side of town! read more

32 Shea is an ineresting place situated in a parking lot. Don't let that put you off. They have a patio that is enclosed with iron fencing and plants. Once seated it is easy to forget the parking lot. The food I've had is good but mostly I enjoy coffee or tea while I soak in the tranquil surrounding. There is some seating inside, which is great in the summer, but outside is the place to be. Enjoy, john read more

Nice local spot. Pretty outdoor patio. Support small businesses and go here instead of starbucks.

Love 32shea! It has a small inside seating area with a bar and a nice outside seating area. Happy hour food is a great deal. Great alternative to Starbucks for a place to meet people and the coffee is way better. Food is consistently good. Lunch menu options are small (soup salad and sandwiches). I'd recommend coming for breakfast (tasty , wallet friendly options), happy hour, and dinner. read more

32 Shea is so damn cute. We've been here twice for breakfast and it's been delicious. My husband and I have ordered the same items both trips: The New Mexico burrito for him, the Early Bird sandwich (sans mayo) for me. The homemade green salsa they serve with the burrito is to dieeeeeeeeee. The sandwich is so tasty--I love the combo of turkey and avo on it. The toast can be a little dry without the mayo, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice. Mayo, blech. We always enjoy their very delicious iced coffee. We've also split pasties and muffins and they are choice. The inside is a little cramped and ordering can be hectic, but once you find a space on their idyllic patio (seriously, so zen and dreamy), it's a breeze. We had our pup in tow on our most recent trip, and the patio is so dog friendly. Lots of head pats and other friendly doggos. We aren't in this area a ton, but when we are, we love to stop by! read more

Update: I've been back a few times since my initial review and the last 2 times I have ordered and paid cold brew, I've been given warm and watered down iced coffee. If you're out of cold brew just tell me! Don't serve me some hot water and call it cold brew. Good food but the service is always terrible. I feel like each time I go the wait times get longer and longer especially in the drive thru. I went for breakfast and got half my order in 10 minutes but had to wait an additional 15 for the rest of it! First half was cold by the time I got everything. read more

Ok so I stopped at what use to be my favorite place. The outdoor dining is awesome and the food was good; however, today I decided to go to the drive through. The attendant told me it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 35 minutes, which was ok because the food is great. Ummmm no not anymore. I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich and a Caprese Salad - well the sandwich was not all that good and the caprese Salad looks awful. I went to eat it and the mozzarella is hard with no real taste, so they put a ton of balsamic vinegar on it to cover up the taste of the mozzarella. Oh and they didn't even get my chips in the order after a 35 minute wait and 22.00 later. This is so sad because this establishment was so good. I guess if you're consuming alcohol now anything would taste good - too bad as I will not return not even for happy hour - not worth the money. read more

I often go to 32 Shea for a pre-work pick-me up, whether it's an iced flavored latte or a Nutella inspired baked good. What I've realized is that their iced flavored lattes are for the latte adventurous- I've tried pistachio, lavender, and mocha, and mocha is still my favorite. I've also tried their hot menu and baked goods, including their New Mexico breakfast burrito. I prefer the baked goods, but that may be because I have a solid sweet tooth, or teeth, if I'm being honest! But the New Mexico breakfast burrito holds its own with avocado, salsa, potatoes, and bacon for morning goodwill. The ambience is very zen, and they have a full bar as well as fountains outside with lots of plant life. If you're looking for a place to hang out, get some work done, or just zone out and day dream, 32 Shea is the place to be. read more

Love 32 Shea for lunch! Food is fresh and staff very friendly. Very quaint but only serve outside... there is no inside dining.

I absolutely LOVE 32! I posted a review about 2 years ago and am still fairly regular there with my friends. We go less frequently now because we've all moved further away. If I could, I would go here everyday (and have in the past for all three meals!). Everybody is friendly and professional and the food is AWESOME! So is the atmosphere! This is my favorite place in the Valley for food, coffee and just a nice relaxing time. read more

Fell upon this place because we wanted to go to a restaurant for dinner where we are allowed to bring along our Chiweenie puppy! Little did I know that this place is AMAZING! From the outside it looks like a little shack and nothing special, once you go inside it is super cute with patio lights and lanterns all around. Super urban and a perfect casual night to get a glass of wine and food. Strongly suggest getting the creamy artichoke dip, and the roast beef sliders! Split both those with a friend and was fully satisfied. I absolutely love it here and the customer service was superb! read more

This has become my new favorite place for bruschetta! I don't know where this place has been all my life! We had Brie + Apples + Honey, Prosciutto + Mascarpone + Figs + Honey, and Salami + Pesto + Tomato... I recommend all of them! Oh and don't forget to try their nutella cheesecake! I'm not a big cheesecake fan, but man was that nurtella cheesecake good! I'm going to make more of an effort to swing by this place more often. read more

A week ago meet this amazing young man name Craig that works at 32shea. He was very polite and hard working and the only person in the store that said "yes sir or no sir ". As I watch he was well mannered with every customer he came in contact with. It was my first time ever going to 32 and he made it a amazing experience. I stop by yesterday and today to go see the young man and experience the warm welcome again and but he's wasn't there so I left. I own a few business myself and would love to have someone like him work for me. So to conclude this I would only like to be served by him when I come there and would like to know the days he works so I can be serve by him.
