Let me give you insight on my experience with 310 Eatery. Quick summary: I only came in to watch the Cal vs Washington game. I figured I needed to buy something if I were to stay here. So I ordered 1 order of the Might Dux Sliders. Since the food was tasty and the 310 business people were friendly, we went ahead and ordered a second order of the Might Dux Sliders which were $12 each. In my mental accounting, this is $12x2 = $24 to watch half of the 3rd quarter and the entirety of the 4th quarter of the game with my girlfriend while eating sliders. However, when we ordered, the people taking our order asked us in a friendly way if we wanted Cheddar Cheese and Grilled Onions. I said, "Sure, I'll take everything included." When the bill came, we were charged $4 extra = ($1 cheese + $1 onions) *(2). This "extra" fee brought our bill up to $28 from my mental accounting of $24. Then there is sales tax on the sum of the $24 + $4 extra fees = sales tax total of $2.38. My bill total was $30.38. My problem lies when they charged us extra fees for items one would ordinarily expect in sliders or in cheese burgers. One expects to receive cheese and onions in their sliders and cheese burgers. Furthermore, they were not clear that additional fees would be added with our preference towards cheese and onions being on our 2x2 inch sliders. The older gentleman explained to us that the fees are listed in the menu and that we should have read the menu more carefully. In essence, he had just BEING DECEPTIVE over by his additional profit margin gain of $4 by being friendly when taking our order and not making it clear that an additional charge would apply due to the cheese and onions that he offered us. Ive eaten here twice for brunch. Tried the following menu items: 1. Iconic Tokyo Po' boy - It was good, but not great. I was a little underwhelmed by the meal. The crab was overpowered by the burger buns. The crab wasn't as flavorful as I wanted it to be either. 2. Fish Tacos- the fish tacos were ok, again not as flavorful as I wanted, but with the salsa it was pretty good. I would get this again as long as I could have the salsa with it. 3. Tamarind Fries- the tamarind fries were really good! The tamarind flavor was sprinkled on top as a powder. 4. Street Burger- the street burger was good, but I personally didn't like the bacon jam. The burger was good, but the bacon jam didn't really add to the burger. I thought that it would be more flavorful, and less heavy. Overall, the food here wasn't bad but I wouldn't come back for anything but the tamarind fries and fish tacos. Some of the other brunch stuff looks great- I've never been here except for brunch, so I would come back to try dinner. read more

Accidentally discovered this place on our weekend in the east bay. We loved their take on traditional brunch, was very refreshing to have the familiar dishes done in a new way. My eggs Benedict was on a toast instead of the ye olde English muffin It is really great to see that the owners take so much pride in establishing connections with the patrons. The chef stopped by a couple times to say to the kids, and even donated a bunch of straws and stirrers for our four year olds car project! Very friendly. Hope to stop by another time soon! read more

Food was delicious, but the prices are ridiculous. Won't be coming back to spend $29 (after tax and tip) for a burger, fries and a lemonade. I just can't justify that expense, except as my last meal. I ordered the $14 burger and didn't get the egg because I figured 100g of fat was enough. There were no fresh veggies on it to balance out the heavy taste of the burger. My friend and I grabbed lunch here recently, and I was surprised. It was a little empty when we walked in, but by the time we ordered it had filled in with lots of hungry peeps. Pretty awesome options for food, they had both a breakfast menu and lunch options...was hard to choose just one thing! I opted for lunch and had the Hurry Curry short ribs/bacon-y burger and seasoned fries...really good. The owners were really friendly and made us feel welcome...When I was being a little extra and asked for Decaf coffee, they even made me a pot with a French press. One of the best burger experiences I've ever had! I absolutely love a killer burger and these folks knock it out of the park! The burger was top notch. It was beautifully seasoned and would have been fine by itself (no toppings, no bun ... just perfectly a seasoned patty). How's that grab ya!? Great customers service! We were greeted & seated immediately, she even provided some good recommendations on what to eat. The Tokyo po boy was so good even though it was lightly burnt, with the soft shell crab not fried super hard & but it was not soggy. The peppers with the dip was also a good light appetizer, it not too spicy so for those are wimpy and can not appreciate hot foods, they can handle this appetizer. Came here with a big group on a Friday night. Decent street parking on this stretch of San Pablo. I split a burger and a pastrami sandwich and they were both good. Our group also split the bacon jam fries, the clam chowder fries, and some regular fries. All very good. We made reservations, so 310 Eatery was able to accommodate us. Very good service. I saw all the great reviews on this place so I decided to try it out. The staffs are nice and friendly, but it was a bit shady. I ordered $7 Albany burger. The waitress lady went to the kitchen counter and came back. She asked me, "Do you want grass fed beef or classic?" I asked her what the difference was. She replied, "One of them ate grass while alive and the other was eating grains and bad junk food." I took that as... do you want a unhealthy beef or cough up extra $$$ and get a healthy food? I just ordered $4 thai tea with the classic Albany burger which I was thinking it would cost $7. She went to the kitchen counter and came back again. She asked me if I wanted cheese. I said, "sure." Then she asked me, "do you want eggs?" I asked her, "does it come with it?" She said I can customize my burger. I said, "ok." Then she asked me if I wanted grilled or raw onions. I said, "uhh grilled is fine." She brought thai tea out. Again, very nice and friendly... I saw that it was on coca cola cup. When I pay $4, I expect at least to have glass or plastic cup. Not a paper cup that holds soda. That isn't a big deal. I will tell you the reason why I am giving the rating I am giving... The burger was juicy, but it was super greasy. Grease was flooding the plate. It did taste pretty decent, but it felt very unhealthy. My body felt it not long after I finished the food. If I were to eat this burger from this place once a week or 2, I felt like I would get a heart attack within matter of few months. Right before the check, it was nice for her to ask me if I wanted another thai tea refill on the house. I thanked her but refused the offer because thai tea was way too sweet. I know thai tea is a sweet drink, but this particular one tasted sweeter than the other thai teas I drink from other places. When I got my bill, they added $1 for cheese, $1 for onions, $2 for eggs. Literally, the burger you pay for only comes with patty and a beef. I wish they were upfront about the charges. I suspected they may charge additional for eggs, but I did not expect them to charge additional for onions and cheese lol. She went about like "which do you?" rather than "these are additional costs, do you want them?" After all said and done, it was almost $19 for a burger and a thai tea. Although they were nice, I left that place with bad taste in the mouth just because they weren't upfront about things. And my body is feeling all that "unhealthy beef" that was eating grains and junk food... all that grease... I do regret coming here and won't be coming back. read more

This place is a great spot to visit, if you're around the area. One of my favorite eateries in Albany. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. Love that they were able to substitute the fried chicken in the Crispy Chicken temescal with grilled chicken. I just wish they had a little more options for people who don't eat red meat. This place is incredible! The owners and staff are the kindest, most welcoming people ever! We were immediately greeted upon entrance and quickly ordered. We both ordered the Albany Burger with fries and they are such good quality. We were both asked how we wanted our meat cooked, if we wanted water, if we wanted fries seasoning, and more, all in this difficult pandemic where quality service is difficult to show. The burgers were juicy and delicious, the perfect balance of flavors. The high quality of ingredients is noticeable and absolutely melts in your mouth. The fries are warm and the seasoning is mouth-watering. I love the tamarind seasoning on the fries! A new find during the pandemic, but quickly a new favorite! The only downfall is it's price I spent $30 on breakfast this morning was not feeling it didn't expect it to be $30, the week before was $20 that was a little high but that was fine but today $30 no thanks! The only reason I won't be coming back is because the prices one person breakfast should not cost $30 for a eggs, potatoes, toast, sausage and a Coke. Driving by this location a few weeks ago I noticed that the sign for Grazzy Burger was down and that there was a sandwich board announcing a new occupant. On a later trip by I slowed down enough to read the sign and saw the name was 310 Eatery. I looked it up on Yelp and the reviews were good, so today Alan and I went here for lunch. We must have arrived just at noon because when Alan tried to open the door it was still locked. It was immediately unlocked and opened by our genial host, who gave a choice of places to sit and menus. We seated ourselves in a booth, which we remembered at being comfortable from Grazzy days. Unlike Grazzy, there is no longer an association w/ the Albany Taproom next door. The doorway and the pass-through have been closed and alcohol isn't an option w/ your food. No problem for us, as we never have alcohol w/ our lunch and Alan no longer drinks beer for medical reasons. Their iced tea is house brewed and costs a very reasonable $2. We looked over the menu and Alan ordered a softshell crab po'boy and I ordered an Albany burger, which is the simplest of the burgers, requesting it be grass fed beef for an additional $3. Fancy burgers w/ lots of additions are wasted on me. I asked for mine rare and our host told me regretfully that they don't cook them that temperature. I asked about medium rare and they do do that. The burger comes w/ lettuce, tomato and sliced onion. I wish dill pickle slices were offered, but they're not. We ordered fries to share, no salt, and both had iced tea to drink. The fries came first and they were good. Our host brought us sharp knives, extra napkins and moist towelettes, implicitly promising a juicy experience. Our mains arrived soon after. I put catsup and mustard on the bun and then cut the burger in half. It was perfectly cooked, a true medium rare, juicy and delicious. The only change I would make is to request no additional salt next time, as the burger had sort of a salty crust, as if the grill had been salted when it was cooked. The buns were good and sturdy and held up well to the contents. I hate when buns fall apart on you. Our host brought by breakfast menus. Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday only, from 10:30 to 2:30, I think he said. The regular 310 menu is also available during that time, but there are a number of interesting looking dishes on the breakfast menu, from French toasts to Benedicts to omelets and probably more. We will definitely return for brunch and for lunch during the week. read more

Breakfast was fabulous. I had the mushroom veggie omelet and applewood bacon smoked sausages (never heard of this but they are delicious). Coffee is really delicious which is very important for me.
