For the last year me and my girlfriend have been contemplating trying this place near our home and just recently we went and tried it out. We didn't know what to order and I ordered the 310 burger and my girlfriend ordered the French toast and the French toast was very good however with the burger it was just okay. The real problem is however I did find a hair in my burger and I was trying to be very nice about it and tell who I think is the owner that I just found it but no problem. However when I tried telling him and showering him there was a hair within my food he met me with a bit of hostility and even my girlfriend noticed it to and I remember him saying what am I pointing out to him and what is the problem and he was just getting kinda upset about it. This ruined the whole experience here for me because why is the owner getting upset I noticed a hair within my food and I was trying to be nice about since there was people around us but okay then. Sadly will not be back

Local favorite, Asian fusion. Hard to not like this other than the price - Bay Area is just expensive for all of us. The burger was bigger than my mouth can fit but I noticed it wasn't quite like the picture on the menu. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or my memory is fading already lol. Anyway, it was still a pretty decent burger albeit messy. Highly recommend getting the fried egg on top! You can also go to the brewery next door for additional ways to complement your meal as well. One thing I do want to highlight was the interaction with the owners. Very warm and friendly vibes.

Stopped by 310 eatery after drinks at matchpoint brewery. We were welcomed in and seated at a booth, the staff were so friendly, helpful, funny, and overall lovely. And the Food. Was. Amazing. I had the Poboy with seafood and added an egg and it was delicious, perfect amount of savory and not fishy. My partner had the 405 traffic jam, and it was delicious, with layers of savory flavor,. We shared the bacon jam fries, and I highly recommend those because they are sweet and rich, and we finished them all so fast. Have their delicious food, meet the lovely people that work there, who are helpful and fun.

Service was really friendly here. We slid open the door from the brewery and ducked our head in and we were immediately greeted by someone who gave us menus and told us to come right back when we were ready. My son had the Dux Sliders twice. The first time, he had them with the regular bun. Then later in the night, he had them with the pretzel bun which he loved even more. I had the Pineapple Puck Fried Rice with an added fried egg and jalapenos. The pineapple made the fried rice a touch too sweet for me but overall, the dish was really good. It was expected that pineapple would be sweet. I'll try their other fried rice next time with the bacon jam.

They call themselves LA street food, but to me, they appear to be a great fusion place! We went to try their souffle pancakes but unfortunately that needs a pre-ordering :( Alas. But we tried their blueberry pancakes and pineapple puck fried rice which were amazing. The service was nice and warm. And we were happy with the place that they had a lot of seatings. Would love to go again.

First time dining at 310 Eatery in Albany after visiting Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park on Memorial Day. Unfortunately, many of the surrounding restaurants were closed on Monday but 310 Eatery was a further drive but open! It's been awhile but I believe 310 Eatery used to have a pop up at Mad Oak in Downtown Oakland. Menu is quite eclectic with dim sum and other Asian items mixed in with hamburgers and sandwiches which is a nice option. The plan was to have brunch but the breakfast menu is only available on weekends. Walk in and staff friendly and welcoming. I opted for the 310's Street Burger with bacon jam. I do like the combination of sweet and salty and the option to get your burger rare! Yes! A decent burger but wasn't smothered in bacon jam as noted on the menu...more like a dollop that didn't add much flavor wise. Friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and really enjoyed. Fries are extra...I asked for the thick cut fries with an up charge from the shoestring but wouldn't call them thick cut. More like regular fries. Many options of craft bottled/can soda which is a plus. I know costs for everything has gone up so expect to pay $18 for a burger with cheese with an added cost for fries and drink. Not an issue and expected as we all have the choice to dine out or make at home. If in the area, would stop for breakfast as eyeing those Japanese soufflé pancakes. Street parking along San Pablo Ave. Tables available outside or inside near the door to dine with your fur-babies.

We had just finished having a Mexican meal down the street and thought we'd comeback and try this place for just a small bite to eat. I ordered the Little Tokyo Po'Boy that has lightly deep fried Japanese style Soft Shell Crab. One thing about this place is that they can be very creative with what they have on their menu. It was light and I'm glad I tried it out. We also had Good Ole' Egg Rolls. Two which were bacon wrapped. They were smallish in nature but what do you expect for eight bucks? Both items we actually took next door to Match Point Brewing where we had a beer. There is a sliding door that permits you to gain entrance to this neighboring establishment. The service was very good. We may have been the only ones in here. If you're looking for a menu that has some creations that may pic your interest this is the place to try.

Every time I come here, I always wish that I lived just a bit closer because then I'd eat here ALL THE TIME. Food is always great, but the service and the vibe are beyond amazing. The owners are so unbelievably friendly and nice. They really made us feel at home. I have failed twice on taking pictures of our burgers, because they were that good, and we were that hungry lol. Will definitely return and tell everyone to go!

Pork Shui Mai

What a nice hidden surprise! I was checking out Match Point Brewery which is connected to 310 Eatery and decided to order some food. The server from 310 Eatery brought me some menus and when he noticed I had my pup with me, he told me about the "dog patty" 310 is known for. They make a plain patty just for pups! I ordered the Har Gow and Pork Shui Mai for myself and the dog patty for Max. The Har Gow were filled with fresh shrimp and the Pork Shui Mai had pork, shrimp, and mushrooms - they were delicious! Max devoured the dog patty, so I'm guessing it was also delicious. I would definetly recomend stopping at 310 to grab some grub!

This was the best experience I've had in a long time. We initially drove past it, twice, but when we finally got inside it was well worth the drive. Friendly greetings, inside seating. Screen playing the Warriors game. Beer selection, great menu. The food choices we selected were so delicious! We will for sure go back when up in the east bay!

405 traffic jam with an egg

By far one of the best places to go in the bay for food and service. The owners are amazing and remember everything from you order everytime you come to every little detail that you tell them. They really do put passion in getting to know you and making sure you feel at home. For the food though, you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. My personal favorites are the 405 traffic jam, and bacon jam fries. If you happen to catch their breakfast menu, their pancakes are so big and to die for. I love coming back here and everytime it's always a good time! If you are in the area, check them out!!

I really tried to like this place since the reviews seemed good but I was really disappointed in the end. The burgers weren't seasoned well or at all. Presentation of the burger was good but it was just really bland. The service was amicable as we ordered what they recommended. The ambience was okay, it wasn't super nice and elegant but it was decent and just kinda of cluttered.

Juicy burger with bacon jam!!

I reserved for three to sit in the main dining room. The next day we arrived right on time for our reservation and still had to wait about 10-15 minutes and was asked if we could sit outside and then we were seated upstairs. I was a little bummed we didn't get to sit in the lower dining room like I booked on our reservations. It was still cute upstairs and good company always makes brunch even better. The servers were quick and helpful. I wanted something light so I just ordered the chicken and waffle bites. My husband got French toast and a side of chicken and my friend got a main entrée of a sandwich with some fries and a little soup. All of the food that came out looked amazing even at other people's tables. For brunch, the price is a little pricey, but I would like to come back to try other entrées when I'm more hungry. We asked one of our servers if he had a light as I brought a little candle to celebrate my friend's birthday, and as he lit it, he also decided to join in with us as we sang happy birthday, which I thought was really sweet. You may have to squeeze by a few tables to make your way to the restroom. Customer service was friendly and attentive. Pricing for food & drinks was a bit high. Our total for 2 entrees and 2 drinks was $60 before tip. We ordered two drinks (orange juice and an iced mocha) which were provided promptly. The orange juice was a little too sour and my mom had to add some sugar to improve the taste. The iced mocha was good, not too sweet. One thing to note the wait for our food took much longer than expected, and it may have been due to how busy it was. My mom opted to order the salmon yuzu benedict and I got an egg plate (scrambled eggs) with a side green salad. My mom mentioned the potatoes lacking salt but she enjoyed the salmon benedict. I thought the scrambled eggs were good, but slightly bland & needed salt and pepper. The side green salad was alright, but the vinaigrette had a bitter aftertaste. Overall, the meal was pretty good and timing wasn't the best. I'd likely return for brunch on a non-peak day. Definitely recommend joining the yelp waitlist prior to arriving if you can!

The delicious crispy bottom of the pot rice, delectable chicken and shrimp in a delicious sauce. My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough bok choy, I love bok choy! I can't believe Vanessa's has been around for 20 years, and I just tried it for the first time. I recently moved back to Albany, right off Solano, from North Berkeley, and decided to try all the restaurants I haven't yet tried. In a word, fabulous. The food, vibe, and staff are all amazing. I was there on a Wednesday night (Wine Wednesday, 1/2 off bottles of wine), by myself, about 45 minutes before closing. It was a slow night, with about 6 people at the bar and maybe 2 or 3 other active tables in the dining area. They have a wonderful vibe in there; every member of the staff was über-friendly, accommodating, and patient. I ordered a house-made lemonade, which the bartender brought to me himself with a big smile as I perused the menu. I purposely ordered extra food since my entire kitchen was still in boxes, and I only had access to my new microwave. I had mentioned to my server that I had just moved, and during my meal, Vi (co-owner and daughter of THE Vanessa) came to introduce herself and welcome me to the neighborhood, a very nice gesture, and one that brought me back with friends two nights later, with Vi remembering my name. Anyway, on to the food. French onion soup; nice, was it the best FOS I've had? No, but still solid. The crouton was more like a slice of baguette. Salt & Pepper Calamari; really good! An amazingly light and crispy batter encased calamari strips, loaded with flavor, super tender, delicious dipping sauce, and a very large portion for a "small plate". Vanessa's Spicy Sautéed Lemongrass with garlic, onions & green beans topped with roasted peanuts: I chose chicken for my protein. Again, the meat was extremely tender, the dish very flavorful, much more lemongrass-forward than at other restaurants, which I loved. The staff and Vi kept insisting I take my time and not to worry about the 8:30 closing time. People were still lingering in the bar area, and I did as I was told, relaxed, and enjoyed my meal (thoroughly). Bottom line, I loved it and plan on being a regular fixture :)

This was 6 pm on a Tuesday, so not that busy. 2. My friend ordered a filet mignon- medium well - it came back rare. We even had a discussion about it with the waiter. The waiter forgot about us after dropping off the food, so it took a very long time to get his attention and get the order corrected. 3. I ordered a lychee cocktail and it tasted like dirty water! It was terrible so I returned in and got a margarita instead. That too, was very sub par and made me immediately sleepy. This usually means they use really low-quality alcohol and ingredients. 4. I ordered Pad Thai- how can that go wrong? Well it did. It just had no flavor and was rather bland. I've never had bland Pad Thai, but now I can cross that off my bucket list. I actually had to ask for soy sauce to give it some kind of flavor, and still it was meh. In conclusion: Vanessa's Bistro and I will never cross paths again. I prefer to spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.
