It was our first visit to this location and we loved every second. The interior is flawless. Decor is top notch and comfortable. No details missed. We enjoyed cocktails and fantastic snacks prior to attending a party in the area. Don't miss the oysters Rockefeller. Absolutely incredible. Also a very cool bread service presentation with butter candle. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Next visit we will want to enjoy the patio atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

I went to grab dinner with my best friend. We were so excited to grab dinner here as it'd been a while since we dined in. We didn't have a reservation, I arrived before my friend but they were able to find seating fairly quickly. Our server was Natalia, but there was another lady in red that served us for the entirety of our dining experience and she was great! We quickly ordered drinks and turned our attention to the food menu. One thing that we were really excited to try were the Elmo rolls so we ordered those and an order of calamari. The Elmo rolls were very disappointing. The cocktail sauce that they are known for was so lackluster. There was little to no horseradish present in the sauce. I asked our server about this and she mentioned that a milder version of accompanied those roles but I've had them previously and they were incredible. We even asked the neighboring table who had ordered shrimp cocktail, and they also mentioned the sauce being extremely mild. Needless to say the rolls left little to be desired. We ordered the grouper sandwich and a burger. Both were pretty tasty. For drinks, we ordered a margarita and an espresso martini, however the margarita was so sour. This was such a different experience than what I'm used to, maybe it was an off night for the kitchen.

Bourbon and the bar

1933 Lounge is an absolute standout, especially if you care about bourbon and food. The bourbon selection is excellent--deep, thoughtful, and clearly curated with enthusiasts in mind. Plenty of great options whether you're hunting something special or just want a well-chosen pour. But honestly, the food deserves just as much attention as the whiskey. Everything we tried was fantastic, and the shrimp cocktail is a must-order. That cocktail sauce does not mess around--cleared my sinuses in the best possible way. Bold, fresh, and memorable. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and comfortable, making it a great spot for a relaxed night out that still feels special. All around, a top-tier lounge that nails both sides of the experience: what's in the glass and what's on the plate. If you're anywhere near Carmel, this one's worth going out of your way for.

We had a company party at 1933 Lounge and it was so chic! The vibe of this place was upscale yet not stuffy. The furniture and decor all featured unique pieces and the bathroom wallpaper is so different & fun - you must check it out! The food was delicious as well. My favorite was either the lobster bisque (not shown) or their fun green sorbet. All the flavors shined through the various courses we were served and offered a very similar (near perfect) dining experience to their sister restaurant, St Elmo's. This place would be ideal for a date night or girls night out if you're feeling fancy and sophisticated or just looking for a wonderful meal + cocktails!

Didn't even have time to take pictures of the food, just know it was good and all was devoured! I've been to the location on Fishers but it feels so long ago. I went to this location with some coworkers during lunch and when you are on the company's dime, eating good is a must lol. Loved the old speakeasy ambiance as soon as I walked in too. First, I want to talk about the customer service. It was too notch! There were about 10 people in our party and our two severs took absolute care of us. Next, we all started with appetizers: wagyu meatball, Asian lollipop wings, spinach & artichoke dip. The meatball was one large meatball and two satisfied our group. It had a little spice to it that I liked alot. The wings had a good sweet chili glaze. The spinach dip was nothing special, but still good. Finally came the entree. Since it was lunch we ordered from that menu. I got the steak frites. I requested medium well but my steak was more on the medium/medium rare side. It was still good so I didnt complain. Overall I'd say I ate pretty good.

Beautiful location. The food was delicious, the only downside was that we asked them to box up our leftovers and didn't get them.

There are now a few 1933 Lounges in the northern Indianapolis suburbs, with the Carmel location being the newest. These restaurants are part of the St. Elmo ecosystem, so you'll find a lot of the same menu items. Food: Basically the same as St. Elmo, which is, of course, the Gold Standard in Indiana for steakhouses. The menu is a bit larger and more progressive. Service: Service was, in all honesty, a little slow and impersonal. Each time I've been to St. Elmo in my life (50+ times), my server was an experienced adult who had likely put his/her children through college by working there for 20+ years. At each 1933 Lounge I've been to, including Carmel, the service was definitely a step down from that standard. Ambiance: The new Carmel restaurant is still brand new and visually stunning. However, at 5:30pm on a Friday night, it was also the loudest restaurant experience I've ever had. I'm talking eardrum-crushing background noise. Granted, the place was nearly 100% full when we arrived, but ... damn. My wife and I nearly had to resort to hand signals & texting just to communicate. It was our anniversary and we were starved, so we muscled through it, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

We enjoyed our night out for my birthday dinner! We had the 10oz filet with the lobster Mac and cheese and baked potato. So much food! Great drinks, great atmosphere! It would have been awesome to have some kind of live music, but oh well. Ps sit inside, the patio area they have is freezing in the winter.

Carmel 1933, you have outdone yourself. This new location is almost 3x bigger than the Fishers location and it is quite impressive. Whereas the Fishers location was dark and small, this one is open and light. Walking in you have bar lounge tables and booths to the right and left which lead up to the beautiful bar and then more tables and bar tables/hightops. While we waited for our 8 o'clock reservation, we found a small table next to the bar where we were able to order drinks and appetizers. I was pleasantly surprised to see a mocktail menu. I got the sparkling sapphire, which was a little tart, but overall very refreshing my husband got a peach or mango tea. He got the Wagyu slider and I got the Caesar salad. We were both very happy with these choices the Caesar salad was enough for both of us. Once 8 o'clock rolled around, we went back to the hostess table and there we were led to our half booth, half comfy chair table. It was prime location for people watching which we love to do at restaurants our server Aaron was very helpful and knowledgeable. I got the almond encrusted cod With brown butter, couscous, and broccolini. I have never had couscous like this and it was absolutely delicious as was the breading on the cod I would highly recommend this dish. My husband got the 16 ounce prime rib which he said was huge and barely finished it. Unfortunately we did not leave room for dessert, but that just gave us a reason to go back and enjoy chocolate, mousse pie, my husband's favorite. This place is a 10/10. Great place to come for a drink, or just an app, or just dessert. Can't wait to go back.

I went here with a friend has I'd won my office's gift card raffle. It was incredible! Drinks were fairly priced to other establishments I've patronized. We started with a round of drinks and the shrimp cocktail. I love the St. Elmo's cocktail sauce! For drinks I got the French 75. My friend got a mule. We'd made it in time to get the first round for happy hour which we got our drinks with 8th Day gin. The second round of drinks I got the Robin Lychee Martini. My friend got The Gatsby. Both were good. For our second round of food we split the Sunburst Roll. The roll was massive! It easily could've been an entree. Splitting it was perfect! It was fresh and just overall so good! We then each had the lobster bisque which was heavenly! For the main course we split the Sesame Chive Crusted Tuna. If you love an ahi tune this is for you! Each bite was PERFECTION! To cap off the night we each had a cup of coffee and split the Coconut Cream Pie. It wasn't too sweet and paired perfectly with the coffee. I'd definitely come back as the food matched the high price point. Service was phenomenal! And the ambiance is cozy and intimate. If you're thinking about trying this place out you should!

Lame, unstuffed, small olive (another already eaten). They need to up their olive game!

Such a lovely place! Wait staff always attentive. Indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent food. Very special. Their olives need to be upgraded; should be large and stuffed for what you pay for a cocktail!

I love this establishment. It's absolutely stunning, service is impeccable and drinks are fire. My one small ask is that they add 1-2 vegan dishes on the menu. I brought a friend here and felt so bad the only vegan option was basically a salad with olive oil and vinegar. Some sort of vegan pasta and/or soup dish would be amazing.

Top shelf bourbons - a few unicorn bottles

This is a tough review for me to write. I wanted a great experience and they probably will be better for the next folks but I can only give my experiences. I stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday and sat at the bar with my wife for a quick drink and starter before headed home. The ambiance is phenomenal. It's 5+ out of 5. The decor is the amazing blend of old school steak house with an excellent blend of old school dark wood with modern contours and wicked cool furniture. The drinks were also amazing. 5+ I got the pops old fashioned which was amazingly balanced. They have an outstanding selection of hard to find bourbons. The barkeeps were also very knowledgeable and engaging. The food is where they fell down. We ordered a seared tuna app and waited and waited....other's who sat down after us got served their meals before our fast prep starter. I had to ask two bartender and barback to check on our order and there was a mixup. No explanation on what it was...they offered to comp my food but I'd already paid my tab because of how long it was taking. It made the experience a disappointment. I would come back again for drinks but I don't plan on paying the $$$$ prices to "hope" to not be disappointed by the kitchen.

We ordered the lemon drop martini, Elmo Cola, the Gatsby and liquid love affair. I asked for the liquid love affair to have a very light pour of alcohol and they obliged. Everyone loved their drinks. Even me. And I am NOT a drinker. We ordered shrimp cocktails, lobster bisque, steaks and lobster. Everything so good. My son's steak was overdone but they happily remade it and ALL the sides that came with it. Just immaculate service. We also ordered the chocolate mousse pie. We asked our server to place the candles we had brought on top. Lemme tell you. The service. Just so good. She realized they were sparkler candles so she waited to light it until she was at our table. We did ask the manager if we could present our son his gift during dinner. It was a firearm and we didn't wanna cause any drama or "unsafe" feelings even though, obvi, it wouldn't have been loaded. We did want to respect the establishment and their other patrons. He kindly declined and, of course, we understood. Can we talk about service? Just so exceptional. Customer service for me will make or break any experience. The bills was... A LOT. Even AFTER they comped everything the birthday boy had ordered. But even if they hadn't comped ANYTHING... I always believe in paying good money for good food. The place was clean. The bathroom clean. And there is a lot for parking. Just the best time was had.

The event takes place on the patio area, it's small and intimate. It is great for networking and mingling and making new connections. The staff was absolutely amazing and engaged with the crowd the entire night. I felt the vibe that they really love their job. They don't let you know about the menu prior to , which I was a bit apprehensive about but it turned out great! For starters we had some chunky guac, watermelon pico, and some kind of verde salsa with chips. 10/10! The Watermelon pico was new to me and very refreshing!! Next we had some steak fajitas with rice. I was not a fan of the rice and the steak wasn't seasoned to my liking but still a good dish! Lastly we had dessert that put me in the mind of being at the state fair. It was a pastry fried (think like funnel cake taste) and fruit ...so yummy! Now the margaritas! Enjoy as much it as little as you like! I loved experimenting and trying different combos. My favorite was the mango spicy flavor! They said they have these events quarterly or so and I can't wait to go to the next one!

The bartender that night took our order from our chairs but wasn't very attentive even when they appeared to not be busy. I realize there is a lot happening behind the scenes we aren't always privy to. So just fine service - nothing negative or over the top. Cocktails: Yes, please. I always think I'm not a bourdon drinker but then I get a bourbon drink and I question my identity and knowing. I ordered a fall fresh drink that I don't currently see on the menu! Gahhh. I thought they mentioned it was always on there. Well regardless it was a 10/10 and had the right amount of zing and not too sweet. I also had an espresso martini which is delish! Peep the Yelp love on the menu! I will always support a place that has NA options for my sober friends! I hadn't had dinner so I ordered the pulled pork nachos. The queso was orange and I'm partial to blanco queso forever and always amen. The pork wasn't smoked so what's the point, really? The jalapeños were fresh and bringing the heat. They were okay but wouldn't get them again. I'll go to half liter for my fix. Will I return? Absolutely.

They booked the entire top floor for our group of 30, which sounds luxe... until three of us got exiled to what we joked as "the kiddy table". Nothing says "team unity" like banquet-style seating for most of us and a side quest for the chosen few when there was clearly room to extend the table, so the choice felt less "design" and more "but, why though?" Luckily, the food excellent. Family-style apps kept things social, and the broiled goat cheese disappeared faster than corporate budgets in Q4. The caramelized brussels sprouts with feta and pears(?) was absolutely sproutstanding and worth fighting your VP over. My salmon was cooked like it had something to prove: crisp on the outside, buttery within. The mac and cheese sauce ith what tasted like sharp, aged cheddar was doing the lord's work. The mashed potatoes was aggressively average, like a meeting that could've been an email. Eh. The bourbon bread pudding was sticky, rich, and just boozy enough to make you forgive the seating chart Service-wise, they ran a tight ship. *Chef's kiss* A small army of food expeditors kept plates landing with precision and no awkward pauses or hangry-induced hostility. We were still a bit hungry after the board, so we ordered a "bacon flight" and some deviled eggs. And that is how I learned that bacon served with a sauce is not for me., whether is a spicy chili sauce, a creamy lime dip, a tomato aioli, or a butterscotch-chocolate concoction. The "savory" bacon option was egregiously salty. You might expect that when you're having bacon, but they added even more salt and it was too much. It turns out that I also do not like wasabi on a deviled egg. I would give Divvy 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed half-stars because I like the shared small-concept and our server was friendly. But mostly it's for Aaron Hansen, the chef at Lone Pine. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

My first experience at the restaurant was decent, so I figured we would give it another shot. I recall my first meal being a bone-in pork chop that was overly salted. I'll make my review brief. The restaurant was not too busy but our service was fairly slow, two separate drink orders that were requested never made it to the table, the environment was noisy/music too loud, etc. I decided to go with something very basic for my food order. My thought was, "I'll see how good they are at doing something simple." I got the black and burger cooked to the chef's preferred temperature (medium). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.
