I got the Kale Brussels salad. It was almost $12.00. I thought I'd get a large bowl of salad. It was actually a very small portion. I thought it would be filled will brussel spouts, but there were only a few small pieces, maybe 3 chips of brussel sprouts. It (the salad) was mostly arugula with small bits of the other vegetables too. Also ordered unsweetened ice tea approximately $3.00. With tax and tip came to approximately $20.00. Stopped in for a dinner before seeing a movie. Sign was hanging on the podium at front that said "Cash Only. We Apologize for the Inconvenience." Things happen, no big deal, so I went to an ATM and came back. No one at the podium. Waited a couple of minutes and they came to sit us. I should've taken the clue. We were seated at a high top table. I asked if there was anything at a booth, and was told by the host that there was, but we would have to wait for the table to be cleaned. The place was damn near empty. Aside from us, there may have been 5 more tables in the entire restaurant with people at them. How were the tables possibly not cleaned and prepped for business? We had a movie to make, so we sat down at the high top. No bread. Ever. My daughter, who had come once prior with her Grandmother said they had gotten their bread AFTER their entree. Anyhow...what appeared to be the bartender came over to take our order. Pleasant, but obviously overwhelmed for whatever reason. Place was dead, but based on the service, I assume they're pretty understaffed. While we waited for our food, we got to listen to several employee conversations which seemed to center on how miserable they were with their jobs. I'll even give that one a pass because they probably figured "who can hear us, we have no business". Then the food came. I ordered a Chicken Caprese. It came with a greens salad. Apparently, someone thought that I had ordered a greens salad that came with a chicken caprese. What I received was possibly the tiniest piece of chicken I had ever seen in a restaurant. It quite literally couldn't have been more than a couple of ounces and it was surrounded on every side by about a half inch of fried breading that was crispy enough to chip a tooth. It was the dinner equivalent of biting into a jelly doughnut that had no jelly in it. But the salad of greens, cherry tomatoes, and red onion with a balsamic glaze covered 3/4 of the plate and was fine. My daughter ordered a pesto chicken pasta dish. She also required Sherlock Holmes to find the chicken in her dish, which I can only assume the chef had confused with artichoke, which there was enough of to MAKE you choke. The pasta also left something to be desired...which I'm sure they could tell when they came to take the plates and it was almost all still there. At this point, the people at the table next to us, having finished their meal, got up to leave. The Dad at that table was obviously not happy and I noticed him complaining to the manager. Must have had a similar experience. I had already decided I wasn't going to speak with the manager. This was more of a "well, we just won't come back" kind of scenario. When the girl brought our check, there was no charge for our 2 cokes, which I have to assume was them attempting to make amends for an uneaten dish. All in all, the waitress/bartender/host hybrid that we had was trying, so I left her the cost of the soda on top of her tip. They obviously need to get their act together, or like many restaurants before them at this mall, they will go away in a hurry. Positive note: The movie was good. We ordered chicken tenders at the theater. They were huge. UPDATE: Decided to give the restaurant a second chance. Took my family of 4 there for dinner. Same exact experience. Same "service". Same "food". And I'm still waiting on my bread...which my waitress told me was coming 3 times (one of which was WHEN SHE WAS CLEARING MY ENTREE DISHES!!!)...and never did. I really like this place. The food is excellent but some days are better than others. I've become somewhat of a regular here and I love the food and even the atmosphere is nice. It's just a bit noisy on the mall side but not like the Texas Road House noise. As for the Quality of the food, it is excellent! The reason for the missing star is the inconsistency and the wait staff missing details. It does seem that not all of the cooks are equally good. One of my favorite items is the French onion soup which I order every single time I'm there. Most of the time it is among the greatest! But lately I've noticed the broth is a bit watered down and doesn't have as dark, rich & hearty of a flavor as it had when they first opened and through the summer and early fall. The cheese is excellent & authentic to true traditional French Onion Soup. This recipe runs among the best in the region slightly ahead of Charlie Brown's and slightly behind Longhorn Steakhouse which is excellent and is seemingly always consistently made excellent! Since this is a new location I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt that they will stabilize the cooking and will hopefully not begin to take short cuts as their popularity increases as so many places do. The wait staff is excellent also and do a great job. Again many of them are new and I have had some hiccups but I do see a progression of improvement. This is a great place to eat if you want quality food at a decent price in a nice atmosphere. This will continue to be one of our 'go-to' places for a nice meal at somewhat affordable cost. We have always and plan to continue to enjoy some great meals and the relaxing atmosphere here at the 110 Grill in Middletown. read more

Hit and miss. A little busy, not a lot, host said 10 minute wait, so we went to the bar, after a 20 minute wait, we just ate at the bar, which was suggested to us. Drinks were quick and on point. The appetizer was a cheesy tater tot dish, exceptional. Then things take a turn, food was a long wait, 30 minutes or so, from a not extensive menu, this was too long. My partner ordered mac n chees with pulled pork, he said it was good, but not as good as other places. I ordered meatloaf, and it was not good, very dry, dryer then I ever thought meatloaf could get. The kitchen runner dropped our food off, never seen the waiter/bartender again, would have loved some ketchup for the dust I was eating, never happened. A different bar tender offered to bring us more drinks when we were done. Nah, we are good. I will give it one more shot, incase this was just a bad night. I have eaten here before and love the service, however today I sat the bar and order chicken pesto with paste. As i began eating I was having difficulty breathing only to find out there was a clear piece of plastic mixd my dish. I immediately called for the manager and told her why is there plastic in my food , she said maybe it came from the bag from the steak. Why would the steaks be wrap in plastic I thought everything was cooked fresh here, I am very disappointed such a nice place but I don't think they cook freaks food from the grill like advertised. I was very disappointed going the second time around. My waitress was wonderful. My food was not as wonderful. I found a hair in my food and apparently from reading other reviews this was not the first time. I received my second dish . Everything was fine. I asked the waitress to ask the manager if the would take off $5.00 for 2 drinks and $7.00 for extra fries we ordered. Manager declined and offered me a card for a free appetizer for my next visit. I signed my receipt and left the card. I won't be going again to see if I will have hair in my food. read more

We were out for in-person dining Friday night and had such a wonderful experience! Their commitment to safely serving people with food sensitivities is nothing like I've experienced anywhere. Even before we were seated, the hostess asked if we would need "gluten-free menus", the allergy statement on the regular menu was prominent, and my seafood allergies were treated seriously and carefully. Everything I ate was marked, delivered separately and kept away from any cross-contamination. I didn't have any reaction at all-a first in the 20 years of eating out with these allergies! The food was delicious-perfectly well done and paced well. Our server Dani was fabulous! We all ate way too much, but it was well worth it. My pulled pork Mac and cheese was fantastic, the spinach dip was the best I've ever had out, and my fiancé adored the chili! And the desserts were amazing. I ordered the Chicken Picatta. Chicken was so over cooked I couldn't cut it with my knife. The bar tender thought my husband was drinking too much and cut him off. He had the manager come over to us. He had 3 drinks within 1.5 hours. He wasn't talking to anybody or even driving. We were quiet and kept to ourselves. But the bar tender certainly made my drinks super strong! We wanted to try this restaurant! After being given a projected wait time of 10-15 minutes, we sat at the bar for 40 minutes. We gave up and ordered at the bar. We told the hostess that we decided to order at the bar and were informed that the texting service is not working properly and that's what we didn't learn our table was available. Then, 40 minutes after that, we were told that the kitchen sent our food to a different table. The bartender (who was very nice!) said that we'd need to wait for her to get a manager to cancel out our food when we decided "no thanks." We we're done waiting, left her the cash for our drinks ( + tax + tip since it wasn't the bartender's fault) and left. On our way out, we saw another group leaving because they never got seated. My daughter has Celiacs and the menu here is huge and tastes so good. The service is wonderful people around to help without feeling suffocate. I made a mistake ordering my daughters meal and they immediately brought back and had a new one without making us feel bad. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back soon. we got seated relatively but our waitress took about 15 mins to come and even introduce herself. this was our first time here ordering. we first asked for whiskey sours and she came back saying they couldn't make it because they didn't have sour mix.....but you can make one without it. we ordered different drinks and took another 20 mins to come out and we're sub par. our food came out and the plates were really hot but the food wasn't. my boyfriend got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was super dry with no seasoning or hot honey on it. Where to start....we've been waiting for this place to open. Sadly it was not the best experience. The host tried to seat us at tables that still needed to be cleaned. He had to take us back to a cleaner table near the door. The waitress took our drink order and when she returned with our waters only she let us know then that the kitchen was backed up on orders. This might have been more useful earlier. We decided to roll the dice. We ordered our meals. After a bit of a wait we got our bar drinks, beer and a dirty martini. She apologized that the bar was backed up too. The martini was....interesting. It was more brine than anything else, not sure of there was any vodka in it. There was a bit of a wait as we expected. A good place for a burger after or before a movie but not for a night out. It's next to a huge kid/teen entertainment with extra loud music and gaming noise. So if you want something relaxing or romantic don't go here. There were 4 of us and 3 ordered sandwiches and 1 a salad. The philly cheese steak was unimpressive. The bbq and Cuban were a notch better, but not leaps and bounds. The salad was about the same as Panera topped by 3 extra thin pieces of grilled chicken cooked beyond recognition and tasting like shoe leather. This was my second time visiting in a couple years. First time was great, this time not so much. We came on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm for a late lunch/early dinner. Things didn't start great as I had a dead fruit fly in my water. I told a passing waitress - she took it and said she would replace it. No apology. Strike 1. I let it go and just hoped this wasn't a sign of things to come. Unfortunately it was pretty down hill from there. We ordered an appetizer of Calamari - last I checked, an appetizer. Is supposed to come BEFORE the meal. It came out with our entrees by another waiter. Big strike 2. One of my biggest pet peeves at a restaurant. Our waiter came by and explained it was his fault on how he placed the order in the kitchen and apologized. My husband got the fish n chips. It tasted great, but when he asked for cocktail sauce, he was told they don't carry it. Wtf?! That's a first. If you serve any kind of fish in a restaurant especially fried fish n chips, it should be offered...at least I think so!! Weird. Anyway...my steak sandwich was flavorful, but the steak was chewy and fatty. Not the best I've had. My kids meals were good with generous portions. The waiter comes by and starts talking about dessert and we were not finished eating yet. Strike 3. At this point I'm feeling rushed. I start to wonder if the appetizer coming out with the entrees was done on purpose now to rush us out . We explained we are still eating and not ready for dessert. Pretty irritating.
