We came up to Bend on September 28th to attend the Dwight Yoakam concert at the Ampitheater. The trip was a birthday present for my wife. She was scouting places to eat in Bend, and the 10 Barrel location on Galveston was highly rated! And, the menu offerings looked great. We walked in, and the hostess asked if we wanted to sit outside. Since, it was a really gorgeous day, we did. The wife is NOT a micro brew fan at all. She is a Coors Light drinker. I had never seen her drink a micro. Our server was Audrey. Very nice gal. She made a recommendation and brought us a sample. It was the least micro beer tasting beer I had ever tried. The wife liked it and we ordered a big glass. They brought it out.....and they added lime to it. And, the lime totally made it!! With the lime in there, it was tremendous. We ordered two of those. We ordered appetizers because we saw things we wanted to try. I hoped they would not be anything great because I was trying to watch what I was eating. Our daughter got the Strawberry Chipotle wings....and we ordered the Queso 4 your face - O. We all took bites, and then knew we were in DEEP trouble! BOTH were excellent! Truly you can't stop eating it stuff. I expected corn tortilla chips with the queso. Nope! Housemade potato chips that were awesome. My wife and daughter both ordered pizzas. The wife got the house pepperoni, and the daughter got the Naughty Hog. I went for the Blue Goat Burger. The pizzas were nothing short of awesome! The flavors in the Naughty Hog were outstanding. The house pepperoni was one of the best pepperoni's I have ever had. And, then there was my burger! Simply put, the very best hamburger I have ever had in a restaurant...........anywhere! I asked for my burger to be done medium. They nailed that! On the burger there was bacon, blueberry jam, goat cheese, arugala, onion, and garlic aioli. Every bite was a treat. The fries with it were first rate. I dipped them in the leftover queso......and oh wow! When we get there again, going that route for sure!! One other thing here............I have been in plenty of brewpubs that offered their beers with foods. But, this was the first time that the beer we had went with everything foodwise that we got! It was like the beer was crafted to go with them. I know that is not the case. So, big ups to the chef at 10 Barrel! Because somebody worked really hard to get it right!! Yes, we paid a pretty penny. So I'm still on the hunt for my fave pizza in Bend and decided to get pizzas to go. What I ordered: 1. Plain Jane cheese pizza for the kids 2. Combo for adults Critique: - dough is alright, lighter on top but light crisp but does have flavor itself - lack of toppings on a $24 combo pizza about 15" in size. I honestly thought they gave us the wrong pizza. I did not say omit any ingredients. It came without bell peppers and mushrooms.. not really a combo is it. And sausage is crumbled. The pic when ordering looks like the usual Italian sausage pieces. Feels like cutting costs or something or perhaps they just forgot.. But I do like the slight crisp of the crust and the amount of cheese on the pie. I wouldn't rush back but maybe we'd all go to check out other items on the menu. After backpack camping at Green Lake, we needed to fuel body and mind. It was a little wait since it was weekend but we found seats at the bar. I had their sour cider (seasonal peach flavor) which tasted really good. I ordered the salmon salad on the bed of kale, Brussels sprouts and parsnip chips, simply with ACV dressing. It was light but filling, served me very well. They also good burgers, I would try salmon dip next time. Dogs friendly at the outside seating area, which was nice. Apocalypse IPA has always been one of my favorites. Did not disappoint at the source. The space is very pleasant, inviting and the service was excellent. This is a great gem to go after hitting Mt Bachelor or having a chill night in Bend! The pizza is amaze. I'd go back because of that! We had the best lunch ever, second time to visit. The grilled shrimp salad is to die for and the burgers as well. We sat outside for a while, and then moved inside just before it started to rain. We got a different server with each seating location, and both were really friendly. The beers are pretty top notch. Unfortunately, I found the pork verde tacos that I ordered to be just meh. ... the description sounded like they should have been wonderful, so I was quite disappointed with the actual flavor and texture. :( However, I really liked the atmosphere there for hanging out with my buddies and drinking some quality beers, and enjoyed the service we received over the hours that we were there. Holy cow. 10/10. A++++! DELICIOUS food. I'm not a beer drinker but my fiancé got some beer he loved and i found a cider that I actually liked!! The staff is super friendly, everyone came up to say hi to our pup. We were checked on constantly. The fire was going to help us keep warm (ash flying around but nothing they could do about that). They do everything right here. Great beer, good food, good atmosphere, good service, and good prices. For food I got the General Tso's Cauliflower, which was super yummy. Plus, it makes you feel like you're eating healthy! I also got the Buffalo wings, which were solid. I drank the following: Fuzztail - Hefeweizen. It's very light and smooth, creamy and drinkable. 7/10 Emotional peacock - Hazy IPA. It's hoppy, citrusy, juicy, and tastes like tropical fruit. It's a party in my mouth! I filled up my growler with this before heading out. 9/10 Rippin - IPA. Drinkable. Light. "American style," they said, unironically. Uninteresting, to my palate. 5/10 Vicious Mosquito - IPA. It's moderately bitter, dank, and citrusy. Pairs unexpectedly well with General Tso's cauliflower. 8/10 Cousin Eddie's - IPA. This one was more obviously bitter, self described as a "west coast style" IPA made from a single type of hop. It's mildly dank. Relatively uncomplicated. 100% of actuarial scientists interviewed described this as "a solid IPA". 7/10 Shiver Me Timbers is a stout. It tastes like molasses, chocolate, and coffee. That's all par for the course. But it stands out because it's more bitter than your average stout! I hate it much less than I usually hate stouts, in other words. 8.5/10 Mi Casa - Imperial Stout. Weighing in at an impressive 12% alcohol, this barrel-aged work of art tastes like a sweet, smooth tobacco shop. Vanilla. Chocolate. Milk. It's like someone swirled chocolate and vanilla ice cream and threw in a dash of liqueur. Once again, I'm not a stout person. But if you are, and you like sweet profiles, you should give this a try. 9/10 read more

This place is great for food, brew and drinks. You can bring your dog along or just come to enjoy the atmosphere. Only item you will have to wait for a min to get a table or drinks Thankfully there is a standing location you can stand at while waiting for your table. I live 1.5 blocks away from your location and have spent many apres evenings there. This was first of this season and also my last. I understand that the tourists are willing to dump tons of money for a burnt pizza and that is likely where your main revenue comes from. After 15 minutes, we got seated in one of the wooden covered outside booths, it was great! We got a variety of stuff to try: steak and gorgonzola fries w/o gorgonzola (50/50 chips and fries), fish n chips, elk burger, 10 for $10 beef sampler. I loved the steak and Cajun chips. Came here on Sunday night and it was poppin. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait but we're pleasantly surprised that it was only 15 minutes. We ordered the jaca and a large Cesar salad. The salad was good and had some delicious homemade croutons but seemed a little vinegary. The pizza was was a good size for two and we had some leftovers to take home. There were plenty of the toppings and sauce and the beer here did not disappoint either. They had a large selection of beers to choose from and the other food we saw come out looked amazing, especially the Mac and cheese. There was plenty of seating and had some fire pits outside and the employees were very attentive! 10 Barrel was a great place to stop in for lunch while we were camping in Bend! Their personal pizza and salad for $12 is an awesome lunch deal. My husband and I both really enjoyed the pizza, although his was much better than mine! He had the one with tri-tip and garlic sauce on it. The servers were all nice and friendly, but my one complaint was how long it took the food to come out. We arrived right after they opened at about 11:15 on a Tuesday and there weren't many people there at all, but it took forever for our food to come out. Michael, our server was super nice, giving me a few additional tasters to add to my already massive 10 glass flight (can you say wide angle photo?). All of the beers were great, with so many styles represented. Their food menu was equally impressive. I loved my Thai burger, with peanut sauce and bacon cooked to perfection. We came here to try the flight and it's soo nice to have them pre select the beers for you and they flow so nicely in the order of the recommendations. Also we had to have the nachos so we did mix fries and chips the chips are nice when loaded with the nacho toppings but the fries are good with the sauce. So get the mix and find what you like best. The service here was awesome. We were first told the wait would be 30-40 minutes, but we got lucky and the wait was just 5 minutes. When we were seated, the service was incredible, especially during COVID. Emily was our server and she was very attentive and let me taste a few beers, which very few breweries do during Covid. The food was decent, but we didn't have enough to give a full food review. I also wanted a shirt that they were out of, which is a huge bummer since the merch is great.
