Breakfast in Hong Kong…read more.. On the way to the ferry, my friend and I stopped by this McCafe for a quick snack. We were on our way to dimsum and we just wanted fuel to get ourselves going... The interior is modern and bright. Customers leave their trays and trash on the tables for the staff to clean. The confusion is that the Cafe items are served from the Cafe side while the coffee, orange juice, and regular McDonald's items are served from the McDonald's counter even though we ordered from the Cafe counter. No worries. We figured it out! We shared the Corn & Cheesy Mushroom Toast. It was good enough to fill our tummies for now. On our second visit, we had the local dish, Macaroni soup. I had mine with ham and my friend had hers with sausage. It was plain, simple, and comforting.
