MARGARITA.
Scott B.

I know this place has a very high rating but I'm sorry we didn't get that during our latest visit on 5-8-26. Yes, latest visit since we also visited June 2025, and gave that visit a 4 star. Let me say there were several issues during this visit. First, they didn't have a common beer available, claiming they ran out of Corona. Now it is a Friday night and you're going into the weekend without one of the most popular beers - just crazy. Next I ordered the Low Country Boil, well after a few minutes another person comes to me as says they have no potatoes for the meal and offered extra sausage to make up the meal. I accepted that. When my meal came out, the server now tells me they owe me 2 more pieces of corn and they would quickly bring that to me. Guess what - never got them. The two pieces I did get were cold - I mean not fully boiled/cooked. Icy cold inside. Now we were with several other couples and one couple had to ask for their drinks a second time. Fact is their meal came out before their first drinks. I have to also mention the men's rooms. I was clearly hadn't been checked or cleaned in a while. Now let's face it, it got screwed up due to nasty guests, but staff really need to check it every so often. Folks I visit Tybee twice a year and there are plenty of options on the island. I think the Zunibar has lost my future business, as well as the 3 other couples we were with. If you choose here you have been warned. I hope you have a better visit.

mango frozen margarita was so good, just sweet enough fire island sandwich- good amount of fish, I wish the spicy mayo was a little spicier, my fries were a little salty, but their ranch is to die for service was amazing, super quick and we were seated right away. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to sit in the shade and listen to some music

Cute spot for lunch. Sat alongside the side of the restaurant with a view of the street. Good service and quick to refill our drinks. Ordered the Fire Island sandwich with chips and my mom ordered the poke bowl. Pretty good sandwich, tiny bit salty tho. The poke bowl was good as well but could've been helped with a bit of sriracha but they didn't have any.

Stopped in for drinks, got more than we could ask for! Took a seat at the bar, great bartender- we actually got to know all of them! Great conversation and lots of real "local" information. Drinks are crafted with care, the many of ingredients made on site. The oysters; local tender and tasty. The pickled pink peppercorn mignonette was a great surprise. Got the house smash burger, bun grilled on both sides, patty with the right amount of crust and a house sauce that packed just enough welcome heat. The drinks, absolutely tasty!

Truly wonderful restaurant on Tybee! We loved the outdoor seating with our kids, and the food was really tasty. Our favorites were the chips & smashed avo (don't skip out on it, it's AMAZING!!), the wings, & the banana hammock drink. Probably the best blended drink I've ever had! So tropical and refreshing. Servers were very kind and hospitable, just docking one star for servers knowledge. She didn't seem very confident in the menu, and when we would ask questions such as "is it grilled chicken or fried in the kids taco" she would say "I believe it's grilled." Or it was noon and we wanted to order the shrimp, and she said "I believe it's not available until later". She didn't seem so sure and didn't really make an effort to find out to be sure. Overall, wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend!

Amazing cocktails and super fast and polite service...even for a weekday at a really off time! Cute spot, lots of seating, both inside and outside. Food was surprisingly good! Shout out to our server, she was really the standout!

We came here with a friend on a popular weekend. Most tables were reserved for evening celebration we beat that rush by couple hours and were seated promptly. The drink service was a little slow but the food came out super fast. Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Asked my boyfriend how his sandwich was and he just gave a shrug which describes our whole experience basically. Convenient location with lots of shaded outdoor seating and "indoor" seating with tvs and fans going. They were out of a lot of stuff by 4:30. I asked for strawberry lemonade and was told they didn't have it, asked for NA beer and they were out, I settled on a sprite instead. Two sprites, a low country boil Nickys Way, Fishermans Deck and 20% tip brought our total to $50+. The house made chips that came with the sandwich were great, the low country boil definitely lacked flavor. Even with extra seasoned butter I had to scoop a ton to taste even a little extra umph.

BEST PLACE EVER. Incredible service and incredible food! The vibes are immaculate here.

Though a bit pricey for dinner and some cocktails, we had a really nice experience here. My wife and I ate dinner outside while a live musician played acoustic covers on a Friday night. Our server told us about their happy hour specials (if we signed up for their email/text list) so we took advantage and got some money off of our drinks and took home souvenir cups. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the falafel sandwich and my wife had a fish sandwich. The chips and dip were good that came with them. I was full when I was done. We stayed a couple of hours to have a coupe of drinks each, eat our meal, and enjoy the live music. There was a good crowd there- nice people having a good time, and a pleasant/healthy mix of chill vibes to party people. This is a place I'd return back to: good food, top notch service, fun drinks, happy hour specials, live music, and a fun atmosphere!

I've always wanted to come here ever since they opened. I absolutely loved the open space and how everything was "outside". They had a ton of tvs to watch the spots and a ton of drink options, we only got drinks since we already had dinner plans but plan on coming back to try the food. I got the Cape Town Tea which was delicious! And my date got the dune buggy cocktail. Both were delicious!

Oysters were really good and fresh!

The service was outstanding! Jake was friendly and even had a few geography lessons for us!

We were in Savannah for my cousin's bachelor party, and there were eight of us. Every meal, a different cousin got to pick where we ate. One afternoon, someone suggested Oakie's because it was close to Tybee Beach. The only thing I had asked all weekend was, "Let's make it a sit-down restaurant." As we pulled into the parking lot, I immediately realized this was a deli--walk up to the counter, order your food, and either take it to go or grab one of the small café-style tables. My cousin walked in first, I followed behind him, and he turned around and looked at me. I just shook my head and said, "Nope... there's nowhere for eight of us to sit. Let's go somewhere else." While everyone debated where to go next, one of my cousins said, "We're wasting time. Let's just grab food here and eat wherever." Best. Decision. We. Made. The. Entire. Trip. I ordered the Turkey Supreme, and while we waited we watched a steady stream of locals and visitors coming in and out. Eventually we all found places to sit and just decided to eat there. Three of us took our first bite, looked at each other, and almost at the same time said, "We're coming back here for breakfast tomorrow before we head home." And that's exactly what we did. We ate here twice in less than 24 hours and couldn't stop talking about how incredible the food was. Fresh ingredients, perfectly made sandwiches, generous portions, and everything was packed with flavor. Sometimes the simplest places end up serving the best food. Oakie's checks every box for what a neighborhood deli should be. Great food, friendly people, quick service, and consistently delicious meals. It did me last year, but this year we went ahead and tried it…read more Sundae Cafe is wedged between a liquor store and a convenience store, this is apparently a thing on Tybee island. What you find inside is a nicely appointed restaurant with a beautiful long bar which we highly recommend you eat at. Our bartender Christy was amazing. But more about her later, right now I will talk about the food. We started with the margarita scallops, which was chunks of seared scallops soaked in margarita on toasted wonton chips with a black bean corn, salsa and drizzle with a local aioli, YUM! We also had their fried green tomatoes, which came with apricot horseradish sauce and aoli. Kiki had the catch of the day, which was a grilled piece of grouper atop mediterranean couscous and a medley of mediterranean vegetables. I had the prime rib, which came with lobster Chili Churri butter and a brandy peppercorn sauce. Both entrees were amazing. Now back to our bartender Christie. To say that she wears many hats is an understatement. She greeted us when we sat at the bar, by the way, did I mention that you can reserve seats at the bar? She described the menu items in a way that you only expect to find from a waiter in the finest restaurants in the world. She addressed any and all allergy issues relating to these dishes all the while she is making drinks for patrons at the bar as well as handling the service bar for all the patrons in the restaurant. Without missing a beat, she takes our order.Buses plates from other customers and continues to make drinks for everybody in the restaurant. At this point I think I told her her new nickname should be the Flash. At one point during our dinner, we saw her serve a bottle of wine to another couple at the end of the bar. Her presentation was that of a full wine sommelier with pouring a taste for approval while showing the label of the bottle as she waited for the customers approval then pouring the glasses after approval was given. List of hats: Bartender Bar Back Waiter Sommelier Entertainer Influencer to a new generation of food service, people on Tybee island. ( She babysat the owner of Bubba Gumbo's.) Location is fantastic, you are right next to the beach and there's a constant breeze coming from the ocean (always bring something to wear on top). The food was literally amazing! Delicious! Peel and eat shrimp was so packed with flavor, the baguette was *chefs kiss* perfect! I had the chilli cheese glizzy and it was mouth wateringly tasty! I ate the entire thing! Everything except the key lime pie was wonderful. We ordered it to go and once we were to the room and about to have some it just did not look good at all. So we didn't have any- it looked a little expired. So we passed on trying it. Otherwise everything was wonderful!

Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee…read more In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.
