Great breakfast spot inside the Andaz. The variety here really stands out, way more options than most hotel restaurants, and everything was perfectly prepared and cooked. The Gourmand was excellent, the biscuits and gravy were killer, and the shrimp and grits were absolutely top notch. Huge shoutout to my server Josiah, pure energy and joy, genuinely made the experience even better with his vibe. Savannah has amazing food everywhere, but this is incredibly convenient and honestly a perfect start to the day, especially if you're staying at the hotel.

Last breakfast before heading out back out west. Located in the Andaz Hotel just off the lobby is this farm-to-table restaurant. This is actually a hidden gem but I say that because Savannah has so many places to go and eat that you one can easily overlook eating in this hotel. If the thought or idea was just "the hotel restaurant" then you're wrong my friend. The service was great but the restaurant does need to step up with the overall look and decor. Granted, it's not as elegant or over the top as many others, but it does need something unique to help it stand out. During the day, the large windows and lighting allow for some great people-watching. We had the Hot Honey Chicken & Waffle (Hot Honey on the side) & The Andaz Catfish & Grits with Fried Okra. Chicken and Catfish were cooked just right and the balance of flavor profiles was a win-win for us. (Sweet & Savory). Both were perfect to hold us over for the flight home. Definitely would consider returning even if I'm not staying at the hotel. And the lobby bar... LEGIT with daily Happy Hour specials that keep you at bay!!!

We stayed two nights in the Andaz hotel and had breakfast in the adjacent restaurant 22 square. The ambiance is wonderful and I enjoyed the fresh flowers on each table. The staff was excellent , attentive and polite. The first day we were there I had the fried chicken Benedicts. The presentation was gorgeous, and the chicken and gravy were amazing. I was a little sad that the poached eggs were overcooked but I didnt want to send the whole dish out so I just asked for a new poached eggs which came a little later. The second day I had the nutella and berries waffle which was good, but nothing special that I could not have made at home , the sprinkling of blueberries weren't anything to write home about. Overall it was a good place breakfast but probably wouldn't be back if I was not staying in the hotel.

All I can say is go for the shrimp and grits. I was not expecting much especially for a hotel restaurant but do not be deterred from trying 22 square restaurant & bar because it is in a hotel. The shrimp and grits are amazing - I loved the subtle bit of heat to the shrimp. The shrimp was tender and the grits buttery and mmmmmmmm yes! Enjoy, indulge and be surprised.

The restaurant is located in the Andaz and breakfast was good but not without hiccups. Service was good but not coordinated and missing items. I was seated quickly and waited a bit for the server to arrive. Drinks came out quickly and orange juice was fresh. The salmon was somewhat thick cut and was plentiful. The bagel was a bit tough so I didn't finish it. The side of bacon didn't arrive and the soft poached egg came out medium well but I wasn't going to ask nor wait since I had already spent a longer time here. I know that post-Covid that staffing is a challenge so I'd try it again and hope the kitchen staff gets their timing right with some kinks worked out.

22 Square came highly recommended by my family while visiting Savannah. I was told the shrimp and grits are a must have, so I decided to go with that! They were not wrong! The shrimp and grits were definitely the star of the show. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and they give you a good amount of shrimp too! Another highlight of the night was the bread we received as a starter. It was SO GOOD! I believe it's an Amish sweet bread with a really creamy butter. Has the perfect combination of sweet and salty! I was a bit disappointed with the deviled eggs. The pimento was too overpowering and it could have had some more seasoning and flavor. Overall I would definitely recommended 22 Square. It's in the heart of Downtown Savannah, and the food is local and tasty!

Not extensive, but very good dishes!

Interesting spot inside a hotel (Andaz) The Shrimp and Grits were VERY VERY good!!!! Also the fried green tomatoes and the cocktails (Old Fashioned for us) In a city with SO many great restaurants, this one is no slacker!!!

Don't do it. No matter how tempted you are with it being in your hotel, it's going to take you 2-3 times longer than it would elsewhere to get your average tasting food. Take the time to go to a real restaurant with quality food and people who know how to cook.

So most everything thing here is very average, but that's unexpected as it's a hotel restaurant. The shrimp n grits were ok, trust me I've had over 100 varieties of shrimp n grits. The jambalaya pasta really needs a creamy sauce not just a tomato sauce. Seemed like a lazy dish. The one server was great, she was pretty much working alone and she gets 5 stars but the food gets 3 stars.

First, I was a bit apprehensive as I don't like to patronize hotel restaurants, but this place worth the visit. The menu is not extensive (which can be a good and a bad thing - fortunately it was good). We started with a bread basket but order what they call "Bread Enhancements" which are 3 items (ricotta, some marmalade and homemade cheese). We loved the 3 items sort of fighting for it. Fried Green Tomatoes were really good as well For entrees, we order their chicken dish, short ribs and mac-daddy-mac. All were really good portions - the natural chicken was our favorite of the 3 - well seasoned and prepared. The short ribs although really good, it was a bit salty for my taste. Their version of the mac and cheese is a must try - portion was huge easily sharable.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls. If you or your family are visiting savannah Georgia, I highly recommend Collins Quarter!

That drink is a masterpiece and lives rent free in my head. I still regret not going back for another one while in Savannah. As a french toast lover who also happens to love pistachios and chocolate, I obviously got the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the french toast, it was the perfect portion to split between two people without being overwhelmingly sweet. I hate when these things are humongous in size and then you can't finish it and end up wasting most of it away. The best part was Doki Doki' Pistachio-Crusted Pistachio Gelato on top - phenomenal! We also got the Moroccan Scramble as the savory counterpart to the french toast. The moroccan-spiced minced-lamb combined with scrambled eggs and toasted chickpea was so flavorful and satisfying. After this meal, I don't believe I could ever pass through Savannah without making a trip to the Collins Q! P.S.: Please come to Philly!

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.
