Love this store! Located upstairs in the mall. This store is perfect for my teenage son. It has a lot of edgy/cool clothing. They have the Ed Hardy brand there too which was awesome (total throwback for me). Make sure to sign up on their app so you can earn points with every purchase. I had a really disappointing experience at zumiez . I stopped in just to look while waiting for my flower bouquet order, and instead of a friendly, welcoming environment, I was met with uncomfortable and invasive questions from a young girl--things like "What's your favorite color?" and "What jewelry do you like?" It felt intrusive and unnecessary. To make matters worse, another male employee then asked me some highly inappropriate questions about my sex life and favorite sex movies, which made me feel extremely harassed and unsafe. Honestly, I felt completely unappreciated and disrespected. No one deserves to be made to feel uncomfortable or harassed in a public space, especially when you're just stopping in briefly. This experience showed a lack of professionalism and empathy, and it really spoiled my day. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and respectful environment. I understand the employees were young and so am I but I felt harassed by the employees here. Please retrain or re hire I seriously considered making a police report. read more

I produced an event this past weekend that required 8 pizza rafts. The only rafts I could find that were available were located at several Zumiez locations. After coordinating with the other Zumiez location, Outlets of Orange, they told me that they would have all 8 rafts sent to their store so that they would all be in one place for us to pick up. Since we were sending out a runner to purchase all of these they would be using our business card that doesn't have their name indicated on it. After being on the phone with the Zumiez at the Outlets it seemed that it was nearly impossible to make this transaction happen. Luckily, I called the Main Place Zumiez and the worker (idk if he was a manager) Dante was more than helpful! I ended up calling him with the Outlets location on the same line so that Dante could explain exactly what needed to be done to make this transaction happen. So I havnt skated in like 5 yrs. Yesterday I went into Zumies at the main place mall looking to get a complete board. I've been out the game for a while but "Cooper" made sure I got what I NEEDED and not what I WANTED. He put the whole board together even comparing his board to mine. You don't get service like that everywhere and me being a server I'm thr food industry I value good customer service. Kudos to the Zumies team for displaying exceptional customer service. I went shopping for a Christmas present for my brother. I was greeted as soon as we walked in. However my husband went on to place some items we had previously purchased in my bag. The same girl that greeted us approached me and aggressively asked if she could help me I started to ask what I was looking for and she interrupted and asked what my husband had just put in my purse. She asked me to open my purse to see what my husband had put in there. Keep in mind the store was full of Christmas shoppers. I went on to tell her it was a previous purchase from another store as I opened my bag to show her. I have never felt so humiliated, I get its Christmas season and there are a lot of Shoplifting going on but couldn't she have taken me to the back or a secluded area to ask me? The employee was very nice and welcoming when I came into the store. I also had some jeans on hold and they kept them there for me till I got there. I did not show up until about 1 hr and 30 min when I called. So I was happy to see that they kept them there for me. And when I decided not to get the jeans, I asked if they can help me find another store that might have the size I need, the employee was happy to help me. I would be happy to go back again. Good tip, if you are looking for volcom jeans in a size 36, they are hard time come by and from what I have found. The only male that have them in at times are, spectrum, the block and Santa Ana mall have. So for sure call a head. I came in today (Thursday July 12) at around 8 pm. The two guys staffing the place were cool and really helped us out, but the girl (sorry, I didn't catch her name) caught us off guard. We were trying to figure out what to get for the buy one get one 50% off deal and she came up to us asking "what are you guys doing back here?" I assume she was thinking we were trying to steal something. My friend said that he was trying to find something cheap and she straight out said "oh you're not going to find anything like that here." She did say all this with a smile, but she's gotta lay off the pressure a bit with treating us like we're children trying to shoplift or some crap. I was planning on telling one of the other employees, but I didn't really think about it until I left the place. I called the store to check if they had a certain size in a shoes that the Westminster store told me they had. I called in the early afternoon and their phone was busy for hours. I finally got through and I explained the shoe and size I needed and I was told by the associate to hang on while he went and checked. 20 minutes later, I'm still on hold. Are you f-ing kidding me? Awesome customer service right there. How long can it take to see if you have a size 5 in Janoski's! Then I call back about 10 minutes later, phone is busy. Oh, could that have still been me on hold? I have a 7 year old son who is just getting into skating, and we went to purchase his first brand new board. We were greeted right when we walked in and the young man asked what he could help with. I explained what we were doing, he than walked me over to the new decks and brought another guy over to better assist. He recommended the right size for my son and helped him pick out a great board for him. I never felt pressured with prices, he than took my son over to have the board grip taped. My son is very curious and asks a lot of questions, and this guy was soo amazing with him. He had the patience to answer all of my sons questions and had my son intrigued for the 10 min or so it took him to finish. As we were checking out, I saw a sign for a discount and asked if that applied to me, he than said Yea it does. Than another guy came over and said "well technically she has to buy this too, but go ahead and give it her" So that saved me like $23.00 (which is always great)... Needless to say, at the skate park the next day my sons new board was a hit and he LOVED it. Thank you all for helping a clueless mom make her sons hobbies simple .
