Outstanding environment, service, food, drinks, and experience! This is the restaurant to eat at in this town, Midway. I ate shrimp pasta and my wife had the Austrian steak! Delicious. Our server, Mandar, was fantastic! Give him a pay raise!

My first experience with Beef Wellington. It did not disappoint. I loved the layer of mushroom duxelle. And the outer pastry was cooked to perfection. It was served with garlic mashed potatoes and succotash. Their peppercorn steak sauce is unbelievable. We highly recommend trying this dish at this restaurant. This was served as a dinner for two so servings are large. We also have tried tons of other dishes here and haven't had any disappointment. The ambiance is nice-think alpine chalet. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

My favourite part about our meal was the drinks. We ordered the mango and desert pear lemonade and also a virgin blackberry mule mocktail. I especially loved the virgin blackberry mule mocktail as it was so refreshing! However, the lemonades were also very fragrant and were offered in a variety of flavours. For the main dish, we ordered the beef Wellington. To our disappointment, the meat was almost rare. So, we were not able to finish it and had to bring it back home to pan fry it. However, the vegetables and mashed potato sides were tasty. The vegetable had a fragrant garlic smell and the mashed potato was also very garlicky. Service: Our server only came back when we asked for help, and also forgot one of our appetisers. So, the servers was not very attentive to our table at all.

We had the Wellington with some drinks, a poutine starter and a cup of the soup of the day. She gives it 4 I give the full five. The Poutine was excellent might be the best I've ever had the fries were warm and crisped to perfection the gravy was tasty but very salty, and the curds were fun and squeaky. Soup was mild and salty, with a pleasant mix of veggies. It went well with the rolls, and made for a nice start We ordered a pair of mixed drinks (Envy and Hemingway Daiquiri). They were... disappointing. Small and boring tasting. Not worth the price. The beef Wellington was lovely. The puff pastry was crispy and so light. The beef practically melted under the knife. The red wine reduction sauce added a pleasant, earthy tang. The mashed potatoes didn't come with gravy, but they didn't need it, as they were buttery and light. We opted for the brussel sprouts w/ honey glaze, and those were wonderful. Cooked well, and mild flavor. The light sides made a great counterpoint to the rich Wellington.

This part of the Zermett hotel. They currently have limited hours & service due to Covid. I ordered the 6oz sirloin which came with mashed potatoes & one side. Good salad & rolls as big as my fist. Good meal & excellent service.

Z 's Chateaubriand Carved Tableside Mashed potatoes Hillbilly Fries

Beautiful restaurant! We came for a birthday celebration and did the Chateaubriand for two Angus geek, mashed potatoes and hillbilly fries. It was amazing! Angus was flat over just right lots of butter and so tender. Literally melted in my mouth. Mashed Potatoes were delicious and creamy. Hillbilly fries were a great starter would definitely order again! We were offered a dessert for our celebration and tried the Lemon Angel Food Cake which was decadent, right and not too sweet!

Ribeye steak was Amazing. I'm an admitted picky eater and most often I can make a better prime rib and rib eye home, but my world has changed now. This steak is in the same category as Ruth Chris and others. Not as thick of a cut maybe Covid or maybe chef. But also less expensive than the others. Grilled to perfection topped with garlic butter and the perfect crust. I have a new favorite meal and I'm pleased we didn't let the reviews on service change my mind. Our server Logan was prompt, attentive and spot on with questions and food delivery. Perfect meal we wanted to stay for desert (uncommon) and enjoy the restarting and the service.

Enjoyed a Sunday brunch. French Toast was a bit soggy and slightly under cooked. Coffee was hot and good. My wife's pancakes were very good.

Service was good but I would not recommend the chicken Parmesan. Severely over priced, sauce was awful and the penne was way undercooked.

How dressy are people on Saturday nights?

They are part of the resort and as such do not have dress requirements for their guests. However I personally wouldn't want to be the most under dressed person in the room. So I recommend upscale casual for an evening at Z's.

However for a second we were a little confused about what was considered shareable versus a one person dish, but our server was amazing and stayed to explain everything to us. (Apparently most are shareable depending on your appetite) We added a couple drinks to our tab. I tried the blended specials margarita with tajin on the rim and my husband ordered a blended Sex on the Beach. I'll give it a 9 out of 10 only because the bendy heart straws were super cute but kind of a mess to drink out of. We also ordered the Mr and Mrs Crab shots. They weren't anything too special but the flavor was still decent. Both my kids ordered from the kids menu and I was honestly impressed by how good their food looked. My son had the fried shrimp with mac and cheese and my daughter ordered the chicken wings. The portions were great and the quality was impressive. Truthfully it is one of the better kids menus I've seen in a while. 10/10 no notes. Now for the main event. My husband ordered the #Crabfam Classic and I built my own boil with snow crab, mussels, head off shrimp, potatoes, corn, and an egg. We both chose the Mr and Mrs Crab seasoning at a medium heat level and we were not disappointed. I have not had seafood this good in Utah. Florida girl here with a semi San Francisco husband, so I would say we have standards. The seasoning was perfect and the shrimp was cooked just right. The spice level was spot on, but I think I could have gone even hotter. At the end of it all it only cost $140ish for a full family of 4 and that included drinks, imo a great price for what you get! The overall vibe of the place was great, I drive past this spot all the time and never see many people there. If you are in American Fork or near Lehi High, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

And the restaurant was not busy. I don't want a server to hover, but it took a while to get a water refill. The food was quite good. Surprised by how good the hush puppies were. Sometimes they tend to be dry but these were just right and very flavorful. Also got the crab fam classic. Appreciated the server input on the garlic butter. You can get seasoned or not. We got seasoned and it had great flavor along with good garlic butter. The amount of food received was not quite what other places have, but the flavor was on point and the meats cooked well. I would definitely go back and hope they are able to stick around.

The ambiance was timeless farmhouse meets upscale fine dining. Our waitress Simona was excellent. She guided us through the just-released summer 2026 menu. The two page menu had an a la carte page and a tasting menu page. We opted to do a la carte. What we ordered: Artisan Bread for the table first course: Smoked Trout Toast + Yellow Tail Carpaccio second course: Burrata & Prosciutto third course: Bavette dessert: Goat Cheesecake + drinks: Carajillo + Espresso Martini I don't even know where to begin or what was my favorite. Everything was so flavorful and plates were so thoughtfully designed. My hubby's favorite was the smoked trout toast. The Bavette (steak) we both equally loved. The yellow tail carpaccio may have been my favorite. But the burrata and prosciutto was so unexpectedly a top contender too. And then that goat cheesecake was the perfect way to end the experience. And the bread... locally made and paired with house made butter... definitely need to add this to your meal! The only problem was that I wanted to order everything on the menu but my stomach and wallet told me otherwise LOL I want to fly back to Park City just to eat here again!

The hamachi was so fresh, and the duck confit Caesar salad was fantastic! I did a starter size of the parpadelle as my main, and it was the perfect amount of food, as I had a bite each of my dining companions Wagyu steak, Bavette steak and the lamb "New York." My husband loved his lamb so much (he doesn't get it at home because I don't like lamb) but we all agreed that the Bavette was the winner. Making the evening even more perfect was our server Victor. He was amazing! So fun and friendly, and it was like he could read our minds & would bring things we were talking about without us asking. We joked that there must be a microphone hidden at the table. It's a great room too, with windows into the kitchen and beautiful decor. Anyway, really happy to have experienced this restaurant again, for the last Sundance in Utah.

The Foundry Grill has earned mine to the point where it has become one of my favorite restaurants in the entire state of Utah, and that is not a title I hand out lightly. The menu is short. If you come expecting a sprawling selection you will feel underwhelmed at first glance. Stay with it, because what that menu lacks in variety it more than compensates for in intention and execution. Every dish feels deliberate, every ingredient earns its place on the plate. The experience started before we even sat down. When we booked the table they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, and by the time we arrived the staff already knew. That kind of seamless attention is rarer than it should be and it set the tone for the entire evening. We settled in and let the meal unfold at its own pace, starting with their muesli bread and herb butter while we waited. Simple, perfect, and gone before we noticed. The lamb flatbread came first. Hummus, pine nuts, smoked yogurt, radish, feta, and pickled onions, generously portioned and ideal for sharing. Then the corn chowder with potato and poblano pepper, subtle and deeply flavored. For the main course we tried the pork tenderloin for the first time. Cooked with bacon, grilled garden vegetables, and charred scallion salsa, it was good and well executed. But next visit I am returning to the Bucatini, the Halibut, or the Ribeye, the dishes that in my experience represent this kitchen at its very best. To close the evening they brought us the mango coconut cheesecake, compliments of the house. Light, balanced, and a genuinely lovely way to end a special night. The Foundry Grill is intimate without being precious, relaxed without being casual, and consistent in a way that the best restaurants make look effortless. Five stars, every time.
