I had been really looking forward to trying brunch at RIME at the St. Regis, and overall I'd say it was a good experience, but the food itself was a little more hit-or-miss than I expected for the price point. The brunch is basically split into two parts. There's a self-serve buffet area with things like snow crab claws, shrimp, fruit, pastries, salads, and other cold items, and then there's a separate menu of small plates that you order through your server. I actually tried almost every small plate on the menu except the fava bean toast and banana French toast, so I definitely got a pretty good sense of the options. The omelet was pretty standard. I did think it was a little strange that you could only choose up to three fillings, although I didn't ask whether they would make an exception. The duck confit eggs Benedict was one of the dishes I was most excited for, but unfortunately it was pretty underwhelming. The hollandaise didn't have as much flavor as I expected, and the English muffin was a little tough. I also saw a lot of people ordering multiple plates of the chicken and waffles, so I had pretty high expectations for that too, but it was another miss for me. Neither the chicken nor the waffle tasted particularly fresh, both were a little tough, and the whole plate was basically cold. I'm not sure if those are made ahead in larger batches, but it definitely tasted like it may have been sitting for a while. The St. Regis poke bowl, on the other hand, was really fresh and really good. My only complaint was the ratio of rice to toppings. There was a huge amount of rice compared with the amount of fish, avocado, mango, edamame, and other toppings. I honestly would have preferred a smaller overall bowl if it meant the ingredients were a little more balanced. The two dishes that completely stole the show for me were the lamb merguez slider and the duck sausage flatbread. Both were excellent. The flatbread itself was nice and crispy, and the combination of duck sausage, goat cheese, apricot, and hot honey worked really well. The lamb slider was also delicious. The lamb, feta, tzatziki, and other toppings all complemented each other really nicely. Those were easily my favorites and were the dishes that actually lived up to, and probably exceeded, what I was expecting. Overall, I thought the ingredients across the menu were clearly high quality, which made some of the more underwhelming dishes a little surprising. There are a lot of interesting ingredients like duck confit, lamb, poke, and seafood, but not every dish really delivered on the potential of those ingredients. We also tried the Bloody Mary flight. It was fun and interesting to try, but I thought the two vodka-based Bloody Marys tasted pretty similar aside from the garnishes and rims. The gin-based one was much more distinctly different. Overall, I'd say the flight was fun to try once, but it wasn't a major standout for me. Where RIME really exceeded expectations was the service. The service was genuinely 11/10. The hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and our server was equally wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and just overall very pleasant. Everyone we interacted with was so nice, and that definitely elevated the experience. Overall, I think this is a great brunch option if you're already staying at the St. Regis and want a nice, leisurely brunch experience with beautiful surroundings and excellent service. If I weren't staying there, though, I'm not sure I would go out of my way specifically for the brunch. For the price point, I expected the food to be a little more consistently impressive, especially since a few of the dishes I was most excited about ended up being the weakest ones. That said, the lamb slider and duck sausage flatbread were genuinely excellent, the poke bowl was very fresh, and the service was exceptional. read more

We came here for breakfast 3 times and dinner during our stay at the hotel. The staff here is wonderful. The ambiance for breakfast can be a little tricky when there are screaming kids but that's not the fault of the restaurant. My favorite breakfast option was the double bacon sandwich if you like bacon, it was so crispy. For dinner, we tried the elk carpaccio which was very good. I was told the salmon was good. The scallops cooked well but it had a weird smell to them. Not sure how to describe it but I wouldn't recommend that, unfortunately. They kindly let us choose a dessert to celebrate our anniversary and it was delicious! If you are staying at the hotel, this is a nice option as it is convenient and easy. read more

Over the years we have had graduation dinners, birthdays, and Christmas at the St. Regis. My family has unanimously decided that the St. Regis has the best French onion soup we have tried. The meat and cheese board are a great appetizer. The truffle pizza is a must. The Caesar salad and other dishes on the menu are great as well. My go to at the RIME has for a long time been the Black Truffle Pizza & the French Onion soup. The service is alway great. They have a special hot chocolate that is ONLY available in the winter so I highly recommend making sure to try that! The views are spectacular! The breakfast is also great. During our stay at the St. Regis in November 2022, we dined here for breakfast twice and had a birthday dinner on our last night. The restaurant overlooks one of the ski runs I believe. Because we came during the off season, there was no one on the slopes but we did see some deer during breakfast! Breakfast was great both times. We ordered a frittata, and this spicy tomato poached egg skillet dish (forget the name). The second time, we got the American breakfast and omelette. My favorite was the spicy tomato egg dish - it was so good that I wanted to order it again the second time we ate there. The dish was not too spicy but it was so good when you dipped the bread in it. I even got extra bread to continue dipping. We got a Half Dozen Oysters, Hamachi, Truffle Fries, Mussells, and the Roasted Salmon Entree for the special birthday dinner. The oysters were fresh and briny, the hamachi pieces were meaty and melted in your mouth, the mussels were yummy, and the salmon was cooked very well. The mussels portion is huge, you can definitely order it for a table of 4 and along with an appetizer and be full. We did find a few pieces of bone in the salmon which was not so great. The truffle fries were our favorite, a hint of truffle flavor, salted well, and the perfect mix of crunchy without being stiff and a little soft. I don't usually like to dine in hotel establishments but RIME is a great option. Aside from the bones in the salmon, we had a great experience here and wouldn't hesitate to come back during our next stay in Park City/St. Regis Deer Valley. read more

Having been a repeat guest of the hotel and restaurant from the Jean Georges days to present for both breakfast and dinner I must say that the current iteration of Rime for breakfast service needs a lot of improvement. The service is spotty, they are usually out of breads/pastries with no advance notice to the guests except when your order arrives.... Additionally, the chicken sausage should be removed entirely from the menu as it was close to jerky and non edible. We informed our server and they commented that has been consistent feedback, my boyfriend told her that he wished she suggested something else upon ordering.... Regarding dinner service, our server Manny was excellent, Rime needs more staff like him.... Our dinner meals were prepared superbly and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. We did request to sit in the wine room as we did the previous year but do to limited staff the were unable to accommodate us there , sad because the previous year it was such a special and memorable evening! M We order the artisan local bread with homemade whipped butter , 22oz ribeye cooked to perfection we order a side of mushroom and whipped mash wow such an indulgent treat !! One of the many dining options and the St. Regis. It's nice how easy it is to ski into and for people who aren't skiing to meet you by using the transportation option they have from Snow Park Village. The service was nice and attentive, made great suggestions on drinks. The aesthetic is very nice and relaxed. Great for taking a break from the day. The food: - lobster roll - thought it was delicious, very good amount of lobster stuffed in it - crispy chicken - the chicken was not really crispy in the end. The sandwich had a good meat to topping/bread ratio but the lack of crispyness was disappointing. "The bread was the same texture as the chicken, needs to be crispier" - Lobster Pasta - the noodles were past al dente, but the sauce was fantastic. The flavor profile was there but the mouthfeel was lacking - steak frites - half of it was a on the tougher side and were more well done compared to medium rare that was requested. The pieces that were correctly medium rare were very nice. Just wished it had some more of the butter on it. Overall the meal was nice. We have been coming here over the years and probably will still stop by once during our trips but probably not more than that at this point. read more

I loved everything that we ordered except the avocado toast, didn't enjoy the taste but glad we got to try it. I loved my pancakes paired with the lemon glaze and housemade granola. Our experience was terrific. We were seated upon arrival and brought menus and water. Our amuse-bouche was a delicious elk empanada. When we told one of our servers that we truly enjoyed it she asked if we each would like another. "Of course, please!" The beet salad was enough to share. Beets, watermelon, feta and Dijon dressing were devoured. My wife ordered the strip steak with butter sauce. I ordered lamb chops medium-rare which came with pine nut risotto. The generous portion of meat was cooked perfectly. Didn't know what to expect of the risotto. It was great. A great idea and deftly executed. Wife's steak was a generous cut and cooked medium rare, as ordered. We also shared a side order of Swiss chard which I could eat at every meal. My wife noticed that she didn't receive the butter sauce that was to accompany her steak. It was pointed out to our server who apologized profusely. Since the steak really didn't need the sauce my wife declined the sauce. We didn't leave anything edible on our plates. When the time came for dessert we were full. Just to see what the dessert options were we perused the dessert menu. To our surprise and amazement the chef and our server brought us every single dessert on the menu at no charge because of the forgotten steak butter sauce. And the beet salad was comped as well!!! Besides the delicious, superbly cooked meal, the service and low key atmosphere, the "make up" of both comped dessert and appetizer salad made Rime our favorite dining experience during our two week Utah visit. I came here with my family for breakfast and dinner as it's the main restaurant in St. Regis where I'm staying. The breakfast was pretty solid overall. They had a pretty generic buffet as well as a large breakfast menu. Our food tasted good and came out decently quickly. However, dinner was very different. The service at dinner was not great. They were understaffed and waiters were all frantically running around, which was much more chaotic than the peaceful breakfast. They brought us our mac n' cheese before our steaks, and our caesar salad after our steaks. However, our waiter was very kind, and even gave us some caramels. Despite the bad service, my food was excellent. My filet was cooked well, and the sides were all really good. However, I ordered a side of herb butter for $6, and it was a tiny puck of butter with green bits in it. I would recommend this place, but in my experience, dinner is a little chaotic. read more

How exciting that I'm one of the first to review RIME at the St. Regis! We came here for lunch, and had wonderful customer service with the hostess and our waiter. We started with the mussels in white wine, with garlic and parsley. They were cooked perfect, well seasoned, and the toasted bread was delicious. We shared the black truffle pizza, and Desert mountain ranch cheeseburger. This pizza was excellent flavor. The crust was softer than expected, but still very good. The burger is amazing. I love when the meat is the star, and it certainly was, cooked and seasoned perfect. The buttered bun, truffle mayo, pickle, and white cheddar were the perfect accents, but not overpowering. Really disappointed in this experience. What promised to be 5-star dining turned out to be mediocre everything. Best thing was husband's waygu steak. My fish was dry, beet salad dressing was salad-bar-yogurt quality, fresh bread was good but emphatically a la carte. We were told too late that it was the first night with a new menu (so, implicitly, we should be patient and forgiving over $50 entrees.) Wait staff do not communicate with each other and were terribly intrusive, interrupting every few minutes, often to ask something we'd already answered. Would not recommend, would not return. One could not have asked for a better evening. It was a Tuesday night. Even tough that is usually a slow night, the distanced restaurant tables were nearly full. That's good to see. I was here with the family as a group of 4. The thing that is present when you arrive, while you dine, and when you leave is the facility and trained staff behind it. We have other restaurants that can go toe to toe with the food, but nobody does the whole package that leaves you feeling spoiled. The sommelier helped with the wine selections and the server with the food. Everything was prepared perfectly and the evening was perfect. Especially since this was in mud season, and during dinner big fluffy spring snowflakes started falling. The view out the window as the trees picked up an inch of snow was perfect. Went here for dinner on our last night in Park City. Firstly, you have to take a funicular or gondala type thing up to the restaurant. I thought it was pretty cool, but a person in our party was afraid of heights, but got through it. The whole ride takes two minutes. We were seated right away as we had a reservation and the waitress was very professional. We got the cheddar bay rolls as an appetizer. There for four, so one for each of us and they were decent. Would probably go with the ricotta or truffle pizza next time. For entrees, I got the pork chop, which was excellent! I asked for regular mashed potatoes instead of sweet potato mash and they subbed them. The carrots were very good as well. One person got the filet which was cooked perfectly medium rare. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake. It was good but very rich. More than enough for the four of us to split at the end of the meal. Overall, we had a great meal with wonderful views. read more

They try to run the experience to function smoothly, so guests can have their expectations met by the kitchen and servers. Located in the beautiful St. Regis - therefore expectations are high and should be. Upon entering there was only on host/hostess so we had to wait as she was seating others. All higher end restaurants have someone at front at all times - not Rime. Food was average, wine list was impressive, but the pricing was egregious. I'm not comfortable paying 3x for a bottle of wine, although I was dumb enough to pay 50 bucks for a glass of standard Caymus Cab! Our server was professional and appreciated. He was the saving grace...so if you want above average food, an overpriced wine list and listen to cheesy cover music (not live) then check it out. I would recommend the adjacent bar. A glass of wine for 21 bucks and a delicious burger. And the bartender was great. read more

We went here for Easter brunch and were terribly disappointed by the quality of the food. Everything was dry, except for the soup (which was watery instead of a creamy lobster bisque). The dishes were still wet from the dishwasher and the service was very average. All food was also cold. Not at all what we would expect from a brunch that was $145 per person. A really bad look for the St. Regis brand! I normally wouldn't even mention this if the food weren't so bad, but the porcelain for the creamer was chipped and the curtain was hanging off the track. read more

The location in the St. Regis is very nice. The service attendants were wonderful. The sommelier was unaware that he had The George wine in the vault, which is nothing short of a crime. He knew nothing about them and blamed them being there on his predecessors choice. This vineyard only makes small batches and restaurants clamor to get their hands on them. We told him we'd happily take them off his hands. Our anniversary dinner was marred by an overcooked filet that was dry and cooked solid when it was supposed to be medium rare. Their sides selections are boring and uninspiring. They ran out of mashed potatoes, while I only saw 5-6 tables the entire time we were there from 7pm to 9pm. Someone needs to talk to the Chef. For the St. Regis to allow this to continue as it is would be very unfortunate. read more

Good toppings, but terrible presentation. Most of the food was cold. On Tday you have one job: serve good turkey. Cold, cubed cut, crapulent. Dessert was mostly cookies and predrilled brownies. 2) Helpless staff. Carvers refused to cut off hot rib cuts when they had already sliced. No clean big plates means customers had to use smaller plates mandating multiple trips. 3) Vegan options were good, but you have to request it again when you sit, even though we explicitly said so while making the reservation. Waitstaff was polite and fairly apologetic. Impressive decor and setting, but far and away not worth your money. Go to a dedicated steakhouse for better food. read more

While guests at the St Regis we dined at Rime a few times. For breakfast we thought the food was very good. The açaí bowl was a pleasant surprise with açaí sorbet on top. The avocado toast was good though would have preferred a more sweet vinaigrette dressing for the salad given the morning-time meal. For dinner my husband adored his lamb chop (it was a good size portion also), and I thought the truffle pizza flavor was very good. Service was good to very good each time, and I'm pleased we had this option for breakfast and dinner within the resort. Great views of the mountain, too! read more

What a JOKE. If this is the best that the freakin' St. Regis has to offer, then clutch your purses, turn yourself right around, and head back home to eat some PB&Js for a more satisfying dining experience. We ate here with our friends on Thursday night with the expectation that that this would be our "fancy" and "nice" meal out. The ambience is indeed lovely but we got sat at a table in the back that was so dark that we had to turn our phones' flashlights on to read the menus. We started with some drinks and the bread with salted butter and the ricotta. The old fashioned seriously had one tablespoon of whiskey and the drinks arrived weeellllllll after the apps, both of which were fine. Main courses is when everything fell apart: our friend's fish arrived without the sauce (which, of course, you have to pay extra for!) and our other friend was missing his tuna tartare. One of us had ordered a soup that came out late (but without a spoon....!!!!!) and the other dish we got, the seared ahi, was seriously ice cold. Nobody bothered to check back in on us so we had to go hunt down a spoon and then when we asked about the tartare, it came back to the table THREE different times after we were told that it was accidentally sent to the wrong table originally. LOL/WHAT THE WHAT. Our waiter seemed to apologize but when one of our friends spoke with the manager about his sideshow of a restaurant, the guy was completely unfazed. Yes, he generously comped some stuff off the bill, and treated us to dessert (the pecan pie is good!), which was very much appreciated (sincerely), but he didn't seem to care much about accountability or exhibit remorse. It was kind of Ah well!, which would be fine, but this is the "luxury" hotel of the area peddling comically bad service and mostly standard food. The soup was advertised as spicy, but ended up being sweet, and we already talked about the fish. It's not that anything was "bad" in terms of the dishes, but for the astronomical prices and "prestige", you think you'd be getting the creme de la creme, and that was certainly not the case. read more
