Best food I've had in a long long time! Loved the atmosphere, food was incredible. And the service was prompt. The presentation was also just stunning. 10/10 would recommend

A favorite in PC during Sundance. This was a between-screenings drop in, and they quickly whisked me to the bar for a drink and bite. The atmosphere = the name - beautiful dark wood and brick make for a warm ambiance. The drink - Woodlands, a smoky variation of an old fashioned - but nicely dryer and absolutely delicious. I chose two small plates and they did not disappoint. The trout toast with smoky cabbage, bacon, goat cheese has a surprising twist of hibiscus onion that sliced through the smoke beautifully. The winter greens salad with castelfranco, endive, Brussel leaves, blue cheese and huckleberry was similarly delightful. Friendly service, and they adjusted my drink to make it carry more smoke. Lovely as always!

Elk I love it. One person thought it was a bit tough.

This place is cool. Has a nice vibe great background music at just the right level of volume. The service is too notch extremely professional and kind. The food was very good not the most amazing I have had in my life but very very good. I would definitely go back but keep in mind very expensive. Cocktail and wine are outrageous at $24 a glass. Bread is $8. I believe the Elk was $60 something. Definitely need deep pockets.

Pricey and you get what you pay for. Service was just okay but could've been our server, felt a little understaffed. Inside felt like classic steakhouse, but for the price was just ok. But presentation, meal quality and cocktails were excellent!

TLDR: Stayed at Deer Valley for a week and this was my favorite meal. Everything was so flavorful, and portions were just right. It was pricy but so worth it. Recommending to all my friends who visit Deer Valley! FOOD: - [HIGHLY RECOMMEND] The Lamb (5/5): Tender, so flavorful, and on a bed of risotto. The risotto wasn't creamy which was actually perfect because I think a creamy risotto combined with the lamb would have been too heavy - [HIGHLY RECOMMEND] Wagyu bavette (5/5): Best steak I had in Park City. Was so flavorful without being overdone -- not too salty or coated in too many spices. I thought the potato and butter could have been softer but it was a cool concept. - Winter vegetables (4.5/5): A great vegetable dish to pair with carbs or protein. - Berry crumble (4/5): Super delicious but wish the berry jam under the crumble was more jammy and got less congealed as we ate the dessert. Came with a perfectly soft scoop of ice cream which was the perfect combo. - Our meal came with an unexpected amuse-bouche! (Potato with yogurt salsa verde and toasted pine nuts) SERVICE: - I loved our waiters. They were so so kind and very attentive. ENVIRONMENT & AMBIANCE: - Located conveniently on Main Street - Super cozy interior with lots of firewood themed art and decoration OTHER: - Make a reservation! - Dinner came out to ~$100 per person -- the mains are quite pricy. But if you want really tasty, upscale food, then the flavors here were the best of all the $100+ meals I had all week in Deer Valley

Best dinner in park city. Expect to make a dent in your wallet, but well worth it. We ordered the little gem, pork belly, roasted heirloom carrots, the bavette, the pork shank, and a nice bottle of wine. 10/10 and the service was amazing. Our server was very great at explaining the menu. He went through almost every item very quickly. We will definitely be back here for dinner when we return to park city for our next ski trip!

We so enjoyed our first dining experience at Firewood from the cocktail we started out with (Bourbon Thyme) to the dessert. I'm glad I went with the Pappardelle Mushroom for my first course. Homemade fettuccine noodles. Great taste! I would've liked an entire trough. Second course was Little Gem. It was light and fresh. This is the one item I might switch out next time just because raw is not usually my jam. While I was enjoying the Bavette my husband had the Cod. Both delicious! By this time we were drinking the Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley Vineyard - everything a Pinot noir should be (unless you are looking for overly earthy). I'm glad we didn't skip dessert! Can't remember what it was called but it tasted like a crunchy marshmallow with the best homemade jam ever. It was a nice little portion of sweet heaven.

    Is there a kid menu?

I suspect they have one but I'd just call to ask. There were plenty of kids in the restaurant. Mine always ignored the kid menu :)

Are you able to accommodate those with gluten and dairy allergies?

Hi Arielle, Yes we are able to accommodate those with gluten and dairy allergies. With chef cooking over open flame there are more vegetables and proteins so a great deal of our menu is already naturally gluten free. We can also modify items to… Read more

Is Firewood suitable for kids aged 7& 9? They are very well behaved

Yes. Practically everything In Park City is kid friendly. Asked for a table next to the kitchen and the kids might enjoy watching the chef in action.

This "thanksgiving" food was something else. Subpar is very kind. The prime rib was disgusting and raw. The turkey and very little mash potatoes that were available were dry and did not taste good. Orange juice is cheap and tastes like it's from concentrate. Desserts were not good either, besides the pumpkin pie, but honestly Costco pumpkin pie is just as good. I wouldn't complain if it was $100 for my family of 5, but it cost $1000. For that price tag, I expect much better food, and not only atmosphere to carry the experience. Waitress was complaining and fighting with each other right next to our table as well. Not our waitress, but other workers. We've been coming to eat and stay at stein for years now. After today I will not come back for brunch or to stay here. Completely underwhelmed and unhappy with the entire experience.

Our waitress was very attentive. We were just in for a girls lunch and talk and she was great about getting our orders, but also giving us gabby women time to talk and catch up. The food was delicious. My friends raved about their specialty coffee drinks; so if that's your jam - enjoy! I got a salad starter and the blackened cod banh mi sandwich. The salad was a great size for a starter; not shareable, good size for one. The cod had a good flavor but the sandwich was a little too much bread for me, so I eat one half with bread and the second half I just eat the inners. The fries were good and I shared them with my friends. I'd love to ski into this place in the winter! Highly recommended during your summer or fall hikes too.

We ordered a charcuterie plate, Cesar salad with shrimp and scallops. All food was pretty good. Price wise is definitely expensive but kind of similar as everything else in Park City.
