I cannot think of better things to say about Zoom Mani!!! I absolutely love every single person on the staff. Plus the nail art talent is unmatched! I was never a nail art girl until finding Zoom Mani. The owner is one of the sweetest & funniest people I know, she does a great job engaging with every client and customer. I've had my hair done by one of the employees at her salon after getting to know her from Zoom, and one of the girls recommended a tattoo artist after getting to know my personal style (whom I have now had a full sleeve of tattoos done!). They are absolutely an outstanding nail salon in the industry, considering the skill and staff. Let alone the convenience being in the mall! I so highly recommend Zoom Mani. I rarely give a review this low, and I hate that I have to give it to a local owned business. I stopped in today for a basic mani while on lunch. While I was choosing a color I noticed that several bottles were basically empty so I picked a teal color that looked like it had some left. The technician opened it and explained there was barely anything left so she needed to add a thinner to try to get more use out of it. She did make a comment to another technician asking why there were so many empty bottles and the other girl told her the person in charge said to use all the bottles completed. She did a few drops of the thinner and she said nothing could be salvaged from the bottle so I had to pick a new color. I picked a basic beige OPI color. She said it looked like there was enough so we continued. The technician was great. She worked with what she had and I think she could tell I'm not a chit chatty person and she didn't press for conversation. About half through she explained she did need to add a thinner because there wasn't enough left to finish and that since she was adding the thinner she had to do an extra layer because it was coming out translucent. There are no actual nail dryers, only small fans to the layers never actually dried. She used a quick spray after the last layer and warned me that since my mani was over and my nails were still wet I needed to be careful. I was actually kinda surprised I was basically being told to go with wet nails, because there was no one waiting but it was basically pointless without anything to assist in drying the nails. The nails were a mess, horribly wet. I messed up one putting the strap of my purse over my shoulder and she offered to add another top coat, but I knew I didn't need another layer. I knew these were not going to dry as soon as I walked away. I've included time stamped photos of the progress. It's been over 6 hours and my nails still haven't dried. I just scraped my polish off in one full sheet using my other hand because they were still wet. I wanted badly to enjoy this experience and the outcome but I can not recommend this location if they do not care enough to make sure they are using the best products and that their employees have what they need to do a good job. They needed non empty polishes and actual nail dryers, not just desk fans. I don't have unlimited funds and I choose to save for this specific experience and how I feel I have threw that money straight into the trash, like the polish I just peeled off my nails. read more

You guys, seriously, not only is supporting small businesses a great thing to do in general but Zoom Mani is one of my absolute favorite locally owned businesses in Cbus. I stumbled upon them about a month and a half ago and I've been there 3 times already with many more visits sure to follow - especially as the holidays approach. I get a regular mani because gel is just too harsh on my already brittle nails but my first manicure here lasted almost 2 full weeks - and I work in a hospital so I'm constantly putting soap or alcohol-based hand sanitizer on my hands - so that's pretty impressive for regular polish! Also, please consider the fact that, in my experience, they are ALWAYS more than willing to fix chipped or smudged nails. I've come back after smudging my nails and have never felt anything less than welcome, although fixing someone's smudged nails is probably not exactly a fun thing to do. In fact, just today while I was there someone came in with a chipped mani that they got elsewhere and Alisa was absolutely willing to fix it for her after informing her that the color might not be an exact match. But, most of all, I really do enjoy chatting with Jessica and Alisa - it's become a much-needed and hard-earned little reward I treat myself to on my day off. They are both so very down to earth, they remembered my name even just after my first visit, and are always genuinely interested in knowing what I've been up to since the last time I've come in. I know that by visiting Zoom Mani I am doing more than a feel-good deed by visiting a small business: I am truly supporting someone's passion and dream so what could possibly be better than that?! :) read more

I went here for the first time today, and I was so pleasantly surprised! I got a gel mani (my usual) and the girls there were so nice. I'm so indecisive with colors and they helped me pick out a cute yellow, and my nail artist was so precise, quick, and overall did a great job. Too often I'll go somewhere and leave with my cuticles cut up, nail polish on my cuticles/fingers, or just a messy job in general, but my nails look so perfect and clean There was no wait when I went in- early Sunday afternoon- which was a bonus. The only downside is that it was a bit on the pricier side compared to my typical places (it was around $52 for a gel mani including tip)- but to me it's worth it to support a small business, AND know that I'm going to get a great service. Popped in to this nail bar kiosk at Polaris for a quick gel polish change between events I had going on. My previous polish was a sparkly red and wanted a clear glitter tip with snowflakes...quite the change and to top it off I had a shorter amount of time than it would have taken to make that change. The ladies at Zoom were fantastic! Not only did they complete my mani in the time frame I had but they did it beautifully without sacrificing quality. Pros: This place is very convenient. I went with my baby and it was very easy to keep her in the stroller while I got my mani done. The girls were very friendly, and very nice. They had a decent selection of colors and it was a clean location. Cons- I decided on a gel mani but was disappointed with the manicure part. The gel part looked good. The lady applied the polish well and it was done in 30 minutes. However, I cannot rate them higher because my cuticles and general nail care was awful. She spent very little time using a bad poor quality cuticle remover to clean all my hangnails. It was awful. Especially for the price of $46 with tip. I was disappointed with the buffering and cuticle removal. It was definitely a fast and quick polish job, but Not enough mani. The gel didn't last more than a week. I probably will not be returning for gel. If you want something quick, go there, but expecting to over pay. read more

I've been following Zoom Mani for a while on Instagram, and finally had a chance to stop in. I had to get my gel removed; they used a sort of heat glove over the foil to expedite the process. I've NEVER seen gel come off so easily, it was amazing. It was all flaking off; she just used an orange stick to remove, not a metal scraper. They were so helpful picking out colors and sticking with the inspiration I shared. BEST PART were the hours...they were open until 9:30!! I came around 8:30 and never felt rushed. My nails never chip after getting a gel manicure. Unfortunately, I had one at Zoom Mani and my nails chipped within a week in a half! The appeal of a fast mani is nice, however it is still full price without the relaxation aspect. Highly disappointed! read more

I was pleased with the nail tech so this is not against her. However I cannot recommend this place because it's day 6, and the true color of the gel polish is changing from mauve to purple. This place is amazing ! All these years of having my nails just plain with regular polish and boring. I've been looking for a place like this all my life. They can do literally any design or art you can think of. Even if you can't think of something like myself they come up with it for you also in case your stumped. They are so friendly and make a ton of customers feel great by posting their work on their ig. This is the best nail salon I've ever been to. I went on a surprise date with my fiancé. Shopping, dinner etc. He went to go buy shoes and dumped me off with these LOVELY LADIES!!!! I am completely blown away by the entire concept and how cool these chicks were. Very good gel nails but they were understaffed and definitely not fast at all. So don't be surprised if you end up being there for more than an hour. The nails were very expensive and I paid 50 dollars for nails that will last me 2 weeks tops. On top of that, the color selection is a little disappointing. As a guy, I feel weird in salons, because of the atmosphere and the terrible chemical smells. I also can't always think ahead for an appointment. I randomly stopped in Zoom Mani after a trip to Apple and felt so comfortable sitting at the bar to get my nails and cuticles done, plus a hand massage. They did a great job. Great people! Actually went to the mall to go to another nail spa since "The Natural Nail Salon" were very rude. My 2yr old and I just wanted to get our nails and we walked in to the mall and it was almost like fate that we saw Zoom Mani. I don't want to take my daughter somewhere around all the acrylic fumes. This place is by far the worse place I've ever gone to. First of all they make it look like they can do all of these amazing designs but I made them re do my designs 3 times when I was there because they looked like a 5 year old did them. Second they don't clean their tools or Brushes so I ended up getting fungus on my nails from their disgusting sanitary issues.
