The nail spa is pretty and everyone was kind. I was a little disappointed in the quality of service. I upgraded my pedicure, but was still left with callous. It didn't seem like there was as much effort put in there. A quick scrub, a few swipes and done. The biggest thing is my gel mani had corners start to rise just a few days after service. It's less than two weeks after my service, and my middle finger's nail has lifted halfway across the nail. My cuticles are messy and dry again. There wasn't much that went into the gel mani compared to where I usually go. No hand massage, no lotion applied, etc. For the pricing and upgrades along with how long my gel mani lasted, it doesn't seem like the service matched the pricing. At least how long it latest. Again, everyone was very kind to me. I'm thankful they worked me into the schedule that weekend, just wish it would have been a different result! read more

My sis and I were having a girl day and after discovering her normal place was closed on Sunday, we went to Yelp to help us find a spot that was open. This nail spa was open all day, took walk-ins, was reasonably priced, and had a ton of glowing reviews. It was obviously really easy for us to agree on heading to Pure Luxe, there was a check next to all the boxes required for a good mani. We arrived at around 1PM on a Sunday afternoon and the receptionist greeted us right away. We put our names down and explained what service we were looking for. I got a gel manicure and my sis got a gel pedicure and her acrylic nails filled. We were handed a box and colors and told to have a seat until our name was called. The place was very girlie, there were chandeliers, pink and grey walls (love!), and feminine art up on the walls. They also had a great playlist on. It was really cute and inviting. My sister was up first and I was welcomed to sit next to her in the pedicure area while I waited for my name to be called. We chit chatted and laughed with her nail tech and until my turn was up. The experience was great from start to finish. My tech was a sweetheart, very gentle but got the job done. If I'm being honest, my nails were a wreck. She made them all very even and my cuticles look fabulous. I choose a bright, berry-ish red and it's perfect. She was really quick too. My sister and I were both very impressed with our visit to Pure Luxe. I'll definitely be back next time I need some girl time or me time. I had a wonderful pedicure here yesterday. Let's first start with what brought me here. I was always attracted by there outside image but never really paid attention to their reviews on Yelp. I just so happened to be in the area yesterday and really needed my toe nails polished. So I decide to stop in. Parking here is plentiful, plenty of area to park in the shopping center. It's right next to Hobby Lobby and Costco so not very hard to miss. The inside is just beautiful. You come in sign in with what service you want. Pick your polish color from the wide array of choices on the wall on the left side with the pink rug. Then if there is no wait like my experience yesterday, you just go straight to your chair they tell you to go to. Sit down and relax as they prepare your warm water with choice of green tea, tropical, lavender, sweet orange foot cream. I got the green tea because I just love the way it smells. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and warming. She did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She didn't dig into my toe nails like most other places. Went here on 5/24/19 for a full set with gel polish!! I had just gotten engaged and wanted my nails looking right for when my ring arrived that day! I called early in the morning from my hair appointment and got in within a couple hours. Gave me time to go home and eat lunch. Went in, and there was another woman there with the same appointment time as me so we were given the boxes of gel polish options... there were a LOT! I picked my color and shortly was called. Macy was my tech, and soon realized she was the manager as well. Maybe even the owner, I'm not sure. All I know is after I sat down it got BUSY!! I'm sure because of the Memorial Day holiday being this Monday. She was VERY patient and got in as many as she could, and helped out where needed with other clients, all while doing an EXCELLENT job on my nails. I love em!! Had a 1pm pedi appt today. I was taken back to the station at 140 and the nail tech set up his tools, put me in water - and left to take another client. It's now after 2pm and despite asking multiple times if my service is going to be done I've been sitting with cold water and no service! Got up to leave and now they have someone to do my pedi- he takes me back to chair and leaves when I ask to have the now cold water replaced. I've been waiting 10 minutes more, no sight of him. I like the color, the prices are decent and they did a good job with cuticle care but my nails were not painted all the way to the skin which makes them not last as long. Also they use nail clippers instead of files, which is strange and also made my nails shorter than I wanted. I was traveling for work and desperately needed a manicure before my meetings. I looked up this place on Yelp and thought it would be great based on the 4 star rating. Boy was I wrong. I normally do gel nails, but with the vibe and interaction with the employees, I decided against that. It was a good call since my nail tech was awful. I think he was the owner - he was an older gentleman. But spent my whole nail session speaking VERY loudly to a younger gentleman in Vietnamese. I don't care if you need to speak to one another. I do care if you're shouting over my head as I'm trying to relax and get a simple manicure. Now let's talk about the manicure. You know when a kindergartener learns to color and can't color inside the lines? That was the nail tech. I pointed it out and he said "I'll fix later", which means that AFTER he's done painting, he used acetone to to wipe off the polish that wasn't on the nails. Average at best. Had a male nail tech but I don't recall his name. Went with a friend for pedicures. Massage has almost no pressure and callus treatment seemed subpar. Not cheap, but not expensive at $45. However, at one week post pedicure, I have chipping. I haven't been swimming or to the beach or any other rough treatment of my nails, so this is a bit shocking. Pros: salon is beautiful, tools autoclaved, good location. Overall, I would not recommend. Update: I went yesterday as my friend picked location. She called in the am and made appointments at 3:30. We arrived on time and picked our polish. No one greeted us for half an hour. We sat in waiting area until just after 4. Then soaked in the tub for a while before techs came. After complaining, we were given $5 off. The explanation we were given is that other customers who had planned for pedicures wanted manicures as well. Horrible customer service. read more

It was Memorial Day though, they were short staffed and very busy. I did the lux pedi and gel mani. Idk what to think. Just had my nails done for the first time at this location last Thursday 2/28. The day of, after driving 6hrs to a funeral, went to get out of my car, slightly hit thumbnail on steering wheel, 1 nail down, replaced Friday 3/1 on my way back into town. No charge Add $10 cash tip to original service. By Sunday 3/3, 2 more on same hand broke off. Replaced Tuesday 3/5. $15 more dollars $5 a nail, $5 cash tip =$10.75 charged (.75 tax) Now 2 crooked nails on my right hand too. Today a week later my left middle fingernail fell off 3/7. Nail #4. It's the old acrylic that was not replaced however I just realized I was charged for a new set even though a new set was not applied, not charged just for a balance on my first visit. I had acrylic on from previous nail salon and it was not replaced. I have never in the last 10 yrs have had this many broken nails all together let alone in less than 1 week. Not happy. I live over hour away so not convenient. 2+ hours of my day to drive there and back. Plus gas. May try 1 more time but if I break another nail!!!!!! I was going to just drive in today 3/8 but figured I'd call and speak to someone about the issues I've had with my nails in the little time that I have had them. (I have never done this but with their history of reviews I thought this shop would want to hear about the quality I received.). Guy on phone said no one could do anything about it. Only Macy. I left name/number for Macy. I was told she is the manager,hoping to hear from her so this issue can be resolved as it's been a horrible week of hiding my hands. I was told she will not be in until 3-4pm, not inconvenient since I need to be home for my kids after school so that means another day with broken nails this week hoping this can get fixed tomorrow.Macy returned my call within a couple hours. "Sounded" very concerned during our call. *update - I am here 3/9. When I walked in I was directed to speak to Macy right away. She immediately informed me loud and in front of customers my balance was not $39 it was $49 replacement of nail made it cost $55 but I was charged $59? plus $10 tip totaling $69. Macy said it was all tax that made it that much lol I can do math and if that's the case, you are adding your own tariff to cost as the county has a set tax, also, I called to verify cost of balance before posting here, the gentleman whom took message for Macy quoted $39 for acrylic w/gel and $59 for new set. Even their flyer does not have the price listed Macy quoted to me here today. I've been here for about 1/2hr or so. I just don't get people like Macy who run businesses that want to argue and blame the customer. It's pretty obvious I'm not happy with the quality of my nails not the cost. Trust me, I didn't want 4 broken nails in 5 days nor spend 6+ hours of my life driving back n fourth. Jeez!! On the phone Macy said she would get me in right away now that I'm here, it's where they can fit me in.... let me add, they put me with the same tech every single time including this time. Tracy. I think they were hoping I would just leave with how rude they were to me, but I'm invested at this point and willing to give them another chance. Let's just say by the quality of my nails each visit - I have a feeling Tracy did not like me. Not sure why as I had just met her and was paying for service. Let me add this specific tech did not engage in any conversation any of the times she worked on my nails. Absolutely would not even look at me. Was not very welcoming. Now looking back, I guess I should have taken this into consideration from the beginning and definitely will for now on. This will also be my last visit after being treated so degrading. The nail replaced today has same polish but not the same shape as others and crooked like the other replaced nails. No charge today but should they really at this point. Macy went out of her way to make it very uncomfortable for not only myself, the other customers and her fellow employees. She did not care that I had $95 invested between cost and tips for 5 days of crappy nails. More if I count in cost of my time and gas. The closest fast food is 25min away, closest grocery 35min. Opted for just a pedicure and chose the "Pure Lux", a $70 service. Toenails cut way to short and crooked. Grated and filed the bottom of my feet til they were raw. After being there for nearly 3 hours and letting my toes dry under the dryer for over 20 minutes, she checked them, proceeded to wrap them with plastic wrap and told me to put my shoes on. When I took the wrap off every single nail was messed up. I went back in to ask for my money back, I did not feel like being there another hour and going through the whole process again. After having 3 different techs come over to look, giving me excuse after excuse and talking to each other for 10 minutes, I told them I wanted to leave and asked again for my money back. What I assume was the manager got an attitude with me but finally agreed to void my charge but told me "you're done, never want to see you again" Absolutely! You will never see me again. read more

Plus, he never had me wash my hands before doing the top coat. I have red stains on my hands. Then when I got ready to check out, the cost seemed high.
