I was definitely impressed with my first visit at Ruby Nails. I came on a Thursday afternoon so I was taken care of right away. The techs offered water, soda and tea to those getting pedicures which never happens to me (bonus points!) and the pedicure was soooooo relaxing! The salon offers three different pedicures ranging from$30-50. I did the deluxe ($40) and I will definitely be getting that one again! The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I had made reservations for 2 on a Thursday almost a week in advanced . I arrived then and waited for about 10 minutes . They set up a pedicure seat for me and I waited over an hour for someone to come start my pedicure! A person who came in after me got there pedicure finished before mine even started! By the time someone started my pedicure my feet were swollen from being in the heat so long. The girl even made a remark about it. I wanted dip nails and a matching color toes . That seemed so crazy to ask for from them I had to switch colors multiple times because they couldn't do it and eventually just settled . They don't match but they're similar . They do have a surprising variety of dip colors, which was nice. Once they started they told me they can't do long dip nails. Which I've had done other places ? Then a comment was rudely made why do you want long nails you have kids. Like since when does having long nails mean you can't be a parent . So they did it as long as they were comfortable doing . They also were initially just dipping into the main container which is unsanitary when you do that with every customer. The eventually moved it to a smaller one just because it was low then dumped the remnants back into the container. Overall, there were so many set backs and compromises I don't think that I would return. When I went to pay it was 10% off is you did cash, which was nice. The prices are good for nails. Also, I hadn't realize before I left the toe separators messed up one of my toe nails. UPDATE: the dip nails I got that should last to almost 5 weeks broke at 3. read more

I decided to stop in on a whim and I did not have to wait which was awesome, I wasn't sure if I would get my nails done because I did not have an appointment and did not feel like waiting. They were so nice and kind, I loved the woman who did my nails chatted the whole time and it was relaxed and casual. I had one of the best salon experiences here that I've ever had. I usually go all the way to Hilliard for my pedicures but I wanted someplace a little closer to home this time. I walked - in and there was a little bit of a wait time but they offered me beverages while I waited and got me into a pedicure chair as soon as they were able so I could continue to wait while soaking and massaging. The guy who did my Pedi did the best Pedi I think I've ever had. I am EXTREMELY ticklish to the point of just not having my calluses smoothed but he did a really good job with pressure, not going too fast and not touching the parts of your feet that are most ticklish. I choose the Royal Pedicure which includes a paraffin treatment. I was really excited because hardly anybody offers that anymore! His massage was also excellent. Something that was really nice was that the staff got all of the customers who were present involved in a conversation. Now, I don't know that that is typical, it may have been just the right moment with all the right people but we all had a really enjoyable time chatting with each other.
