Ok I'm back. I've been coming here for about 15 years now. We lived in Blacklick when I started coming here and now we're in Westerville and they're so good I still make the drive! They have a ton of colors, the technicians are all good and they're all very personable and most importantly,it's very clean. During the pandemic, you had to wear a mask and they took your temperature upon entry. Now that most people are vaccinated, they don't require that anymore. After we moved, I tried a few other nail salons but I always returned back here. They take appointments and walk-in Monday thru Thursday, walk-in only on Friday and Saturday and they're closed on Sunday. Hey! Everyone needs a day off!! Try them! I'm sure you will be pleased!! I have been going to another salon for over 10 years. I used to go to this salon before that. Now I know why I stopped going here. Had to get a pedicure and balance and couldn't get to my regular salon. The older man did my service and he was argumentative from the get go. Asked for eyebrow waxing and he was adamant that they have never done waxing there. Guess I am crazy because I have had my eyebrows done there although it was many years ago. He did not want to take the time to do my pedicure right and said I needed to see a doctor about why my big toe was hurting. Funny, my regular pedicurist trims the dead skin and my toe doesn't hurt. He used a polish that I told him looked thick. Oh no, he said, it's not. My thumbnail polish pealed off the next morning. He obviously doesn't know how to do nails. Had a young girl do my nails. No idea her name. She was so so slow. She kept messing with her iPods and checking her phone constantly. I showed her several times that my thumb nail was not even. She argued it was. Then when she couldn't fix it, she said my thumb was crooked lol. I said, You are telling me this is like this because my thumb is crooked???? She said yes. They do not have a large dip powder color selection. Extremely limited. This place seems a little sketchy in. Many ways. So when the lady at #2 checked me out my total was $90.and change. My husband had to bring my wallet to me cause i changed purses (i live 4 mins away) so i sat and waited for him to bring my wallet (THEY DONT HAVE APPLE PAY it's 2024 ppl) when he pulled to the door i walk out to grab my wallet from him. He was in a meeting for work he couldn't get out the car. I come back in to pay and all of sudden the man from station #1 rings me out and it's $97.and change now. How did my total go up?!!!!!!!!! I've been here multiple times in the past and it's been okay. Not the worst and definitely not the best, just close to home. At this moment, I am perched on the side of the pedicure chair for the last 15 minutes. I waited nearly 90 minutes to be completely ignored? Is it too much to ask that SOMEONE fill the basin to soak? So I was just in the neighborhood and my 7yr old niece asked me to paint her nails when we got back to my house butttttttt I didn't feel like it so I said let me stop at a nail salon so she can get them done! Decent: I was going to another salon much further from my home when someone convinced me to try this place out. I have been here 5-6 times since then, it's not amazing but it's also not the worst. It is in a convenient location with a lot of parking. The wait for service has never been too bad, even on a Saturday I only waited about 30 minutes. There are a few nail techs who work there who are awesome. I can't remember their names unfortunately. There is also one or two who are really bad. There is one older gentleman who works there who cut me multiple times after I told him my cuticles are sensitive. No apology, he didn't even add the drops to my cuts to stop the bleeding just kept going. I'll keep going back for now because it is convenient and quick. read more

I feel bad having to change my previous 5 star review. However, it's very necessary. Since my review this place has took a turn down hill. This place smells awful. Ventilation is not good here. The staff is not very courteous or well trained. I acquired a very bad fungus due to their unsanitary conditions. I noticed that the nail technicians did not sterilize their tools in between or change them in between clients. I had to go elsewhere to get the fungus cleared up. I swear he massaged each foot and my legs for a solid 10 minutes EACH. I was almost falling asleep in my chair. I asked for squovel shape and yes I needed them short they were short thick and very stubby looked awful I asked her to please slim them out and make them more round was told that will be $5 extra if I needed them round. she said they needed to be thick because I had short nails! i know that's not true. For me it's just the clear polish. Evening hours are best to get in, and get the best service. Now she feels the men do the best job, and maybe that is why they are up front doing the manicures. I always get the women for the pedicures. Standard foot bath and massage chairs with remote control face a TV. I believe there were 7 chairs. After visiting the Polaris Comfort Zone, I can assure you that this is a circulation massage, not a foot massage. My feet always look great, and get some much needed special attention. Prices are very reasonable. It's reasonable, that we often pick up a gift certificate to give. *You may see my toe photo, after 24 hours, I was unsatisfied with the look of my smiley face. After my gel nails were completed, I got home and the edge of my thumbnail broke off. Not even 3 days later, a different finger nail broke off on the side as well. "Luxury" is an overstatement when it comes to this nail shop. Employees were rude. The man that did my nails complained that I wanted sculpts. He didn't clean the table before I sat down so there was nail dust all over it from the previous client. They don't lay a towel down or anything for you to rest your hands. Just a crusty, unsanitary table. I asked for stiletto nails and he had clearly never done them before. He left them rounded at the tip and he drilled so deep under the nail that they all snapped off a week later. He didn't ask if I was satisfied. He didn't buff my nails. He didn't apply cuticle oil.
