I've been going here for years. Always enjoyed my experience. Wished it was little nicer inside. Last week was like last week I'll be going back there. I had a pedi which was great, but I wanted a balance for nails I got done somewhere else. She said sure while doing my feet.. We'll go forwards to her going to do my nails. She said it was acrylic nails that it was dipped. And I said no mamma they didn't dip my nail. And she we on to sand down the nail, and went to try to RIP THE NAIL OFF!! She was sighing and got out some liquid to soak my nails. But the got a big fake nail out and started digging it between my real nail and fake one. Ripping each nail off my nail. I screamed. And she grab my hand and squeezed my hand, and said I'll rip and stop and rip again. Then started again!!! NEVER WILL I GO BACK! read more

This was awhile ago when I visited one time and swore that I wouldn't return. However, I was encouraged by friends to let others know about this experience. So here is my odd experience at this salon. I have never been treated so rudely at a nail salon in my life. First I walked in and I'm a friendly person so I say hello with a smile to the people working as well as other clients waiting as I sign in on the sheet. I don't get a reply from anybody staff or customer. I waited patiently until they called my name. I knew the procedure and had my color picked out in advance, and went to the woman who told me to sit at her station. As she worked on my nails I tried to speak to her but she would not respond. I also turned to the lady next to me and Smiled and said hello and she too did not respond. As I looked around it was quiet as if one was in a library so I quickly shut my mouth. I sat extremely quiet no more sound as I noticed no one was talking at all. The lady finished my nails and took my payment. I said to her Thank you. Again no reply as she took my payment and the tip that I gave her. Yep I actually gave her a tip. Even though the experience was awful, she did do a good job. It is VERY unprofessional to close before your stated business hours without prior notice. I arrived at 4:30, WELL before posted closing hour of 6:30 pm, to find the salon closed, yet staff still inside. I called to inquire and was told they closed early because they were very slow. One would expect a business to be slower during business hours, as I imagine many of its patrons work and cannot get there until closer to their closing hours. It is a walk-in salon, but as a regular customer of several years and given the circumstance, I expected some sort of accommodation to be made. As such, I asked to schedule an appointment upon opening, the next business day, but I was wrong in expecting any accommodation. They stated they are a walk-in salon only and advised to arrive a half hour prior to their opening time and wait. Not only will I NOT be doing that, but I WILL be taking my business and hard earned dollars to a salon that appreciates its patronage. #irritatedFORMERcustomer read more

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is very welcoming and nice! There is one specific nail technician I go to - her name is Joann. I bite my nails very bad and have a lot of anxiety and she is very understanding and patient when she does my nails. Save your money do not go here they appear to be nice at first but then when they make a mistake they refuse to fix it without charging you a second time to fix their mistake. Just bad customer service. I am really dissatisfied with the job that they did with my nails and instead of them choosing to fix it they told me they would charge me another $30 to reshape the mess up that they did on my nails. Apparently under new ownership and refused to honor a gift card purchased with previous owner, even though it's the same business. Refused to even consider honoring even half of the amount of the gift card so not only were we out of the money for the original gift card, but had to pay AGAIN for the service provided. No signs stating they would not honor gift cards bought under previous ownership and we didn't find out until it was time to pay. Will NOT be going back. read more

This has to be my new favorite nail salon! It's super clean, the staff is very hospitable, and it's very welcoming! I have gone to several different salons to get a full set of acrylics, and usually my nails ache for 2 days after getting them. Not this time! She didn't grind my cuticles to hamburger either, which usually happens! They're perfect! Not too thick on the powder, and the polish looks great! I can't wait to go back for a balance! read more

I ask for a simple clean up of the toes and I just got my nails cut! I was first priced $13. Then she said $14.. I thought for that much I would get what I'm asking for! I used to go to this salon when they first opened up. I stopped going when I realized they only treated certain people with kindness and respect. If you request a service they don't want to do they try and discourage you from the service. Annie and her husband are rude and tell you to bring cash because they are charged more for credit card purchases. They also try to up charge you in order to get you to spend more money. You have to wait for hours on Saturday to even get in the chair unless you are one of their favorites. I will never go to this salon ever again. read more

I have mixed feelings about this salon. I want to start by saying my nail tech was very polite, the main reason for my negative review is due to a miscommunication on the salons part. I had called prior to going to ask if they carried the color changing gel polish to which the male at the salon said "yes, $20." I thought that was great and that I would give it a try since it's closer than my normal salon. I arrived only to find out that they DO NOT carry the color changing polish. I needed to get them done today as I can't have chipped polish for work. I selected 3 colors and opted for a polka dot design. I also opted for a manicure as well. I knew this would be more than $20 with the manicure and such but it was like being nickel and dimed for the simplest design. They tried to charge me $10 for polka dots on 4 fingers, bringing my total to $45 for GEL!! I told them to forget the design as I'm not paying $45 for something I didn't want. (I wanted color changing polish, as the male stated they did have.) now I'm stuck with plain nails, random colors that don't match and the thumb nail is sloppy. Like I said I have mixed feelings, the nail tech was very polite and my nails aren't chipped anymore so that's good. Just very frustrated with the miscommunication. For now on I will make the drive to Vivi nails in canal, where you can get colors and a design for $23! read more

On January 19, 2016 I do not have a good experience here... Me and my friend got there at 6:27 PM on a Tuesday(left at like 7:40) . There was only two people ahead of me and they were almost finished. my name was clearly signed on the sign in sheet because that's what you do when you walk in and the workers should always check that sheet but today well you know they didn't. My friend got her nail repair and I sat there quietly waiting for my turn .. I mean I know they saw us both walk in we were chitchatting and laughing and sat together etc. so I'm waiting there for over an hour and they literally think I'm just her friend waiting for her but yet I had three nail polish in my hand to the workers got done they were on their phones chitchat and and then they decide it is time to go home. The store closed an hour ago but yet me and my friend were still there. I understand if it's your time to go and you've been there since like what 12 when you open, but if the store is closing and you just have to do a nail polish change you get that stuff done you don't just walk out.. I saw him look at the sheet & he didn't say anything so they did forget about me and I waited there for nothing.. If you couldn't tell my friend had already been seen and handle. I put all the nail polish back because I was fed up and then they finally look at the sheet and say oh Georgia would you like your color change .. I said you know what never mind it's been too long and I'm leaving. So thanks nails by Annie for forgetting me.. I painted my own nails thank you so much. read more

On 1/1/16 my friend and I went to this salon because our regular nail place had been closed due to the holiday. When we arrived we told them we just wanted our nails balanced and asked how much it would be and the so called manager gave us the price and we picked our colors. The so called manager had us both come sit next to him while he rotated us. I decided I wanted a more glitter color and the manager told me I could go look at more colors so I went and picked up a sample and one of the worker flipped out on me for picking up one of the samples and told me I could not use that color and to put it back in its proper holder at that moment I was so offended and wanted to walk out but I had half done nails so I couldn't. I sat back down next to my friend an waited my turn. My friend asked the so called manager who kept texting and answering phone calls the entire time during our service, if he could shorten her nails a bit but he couldn't be bothered and told her it would cost her extra! The whole time he was demanding asking us to move and not even saying please. The next day after the nail appointment all my gel nail polish peeled off and my nails started breaking! I have never had such awful service in any nail salon and my gel nails have always lasted weeks! Needless to say we will never come to this nail salon ever again! read more
