I've been here a few times because it's near work and there's always walk-in availability. But this last time was Not OK. I popped in for an acrylic filled with a gel polish, which I always get from my regular gal (always grows out with no chips whatsoever) but with in two days, one nail came off and two others chipped. Yesterday was my first trip to this salon. I had an appointment and was assigned to Melina, who helped me narrow down my color search (I get bogged down by so many choices!) and then delivered one of the nicest manicures I've had. She was careful, gentle, and painstaking and I'm very pleased with the results. I will say, if there was one down spot in the visit, it had nothing to do with the salon itself or any of the staff, but from a loud "I'm a regular"-type customer who wanted to make everyone's experience about herself. But again, that's not something the salon had any control over (but sitting next to her was annoying AF.) Anyways, the salon is bright, welcoming, and very clean, and I'll be booking with Melina again. I was extremely disappointed with this $55 gel pedicure service- I clearly stated I wanted simple nails art. I said it 3 times. I picked 3 clean basic colors from their " gel Polish white basket ". I have been getting my nails done here for several years. Not consistently but pretty regular. They do a great job and I usually ask for Sophia who is very good. They also do waxing along with nails and pedicures. They offer water and soda. My only complaint is if you don't make a appointment and just walk in, they will say 10 minutes that can turn into much longer. I got a pedicure yesterday and to start off with the woman who did it clipped my nails too short and then when she was cleaning my cuticles, cut into them 2 times to the point I had to pull my foot back. When the guy was using the cuticle tool he cut my foot on the right for little not big deal. When he started to shave my dead skin he cut my foot he went with it on the top of my toes on my left foot. The cut burns and is pretty deep I asked if I could get a discount or something for him cutting me. He said no I stopped bleeding and he used a "medical treatment" which it did not stop bleeding. I am thoroughly disgusted with this place. The staff is friendly but they don't do great work. I went to the salon and left with 25 bites on the back of my legs where my calves touched the seams in the chair. I'm not sure what kind of bugs bit me but I have been in EXTREME discomfort for many days. They denied that they had bugs, but did not call professionals to come check. It was the first time in days I had warn shorts, so it's extremely unlikely the bites could have come from anywhere else. When I asked for my money back from my visit, they refused and offered me a gift card instead - like I'd ever be going back. Book a time with Ena for the best dipping powder nail technique you've EVER gotten. My nails were a bit thin after using gel for the past month and I was hesitant about using dipping powder. Two of my girlfriends who see Ena convinced me after I saw how long and healthy their nails still were after consecutively seeing her. Their manicures would also last 3-4 weeks without chipping (!!). I've had my nails done at Classy several times and each shellac manicure lasts me a little more than 3 weeks. My polish is still looking good at 3 weeks, I only go in then because they have grown out & I need a trim & balance. I have always gone on my lunch hour & have gotten in & out with a little time left to grab something to take back to my desk.
