Are usually get my nails done every month. Are used to get them done every two weeks but I've been broke lately. So, this particular day my nails were in dire need of a balance. My original location was closed. So, I found that Q nails is Right around the corner so I gave them a call. They had an appointment available for 3 PM. It is located in a plaza and very easy to fine. There was plenty of parking. Arrived at 2:45 PM because the website said that I should be 10 to 15 minutes early. On the website, and acrylic balance is $25 and with gel it is $40. When I arrived the technicians were frantically finishing up two pedicures. I was seated right at three and the technician was amazing. He did an amazing job on my shape, color, it was pretty clean. He did not make a necessary conversation as I'm a quiet person and I enjoyed that. He paid great attention to detail, and though he seemed to be rushing because there was someone waiting, I don't think he cut any corners and I'm pretty satisfied. The color selection is decent. It's not amazing but it's definitely not lacking. So, I was pleased. The ambience and the place is less than stellar. It's a basic nail salon. There's a TV but you can't really see it over the Covid barriers and it was on the weather anyway. It looked moderately clean I didn't have any significant issues. Now, the reason why I did not give them five stars because of other peoples experiences. For example, shortly after I was seated, a woman walks in saying that she got a 3 PM appointment. However, there was no one available. Both technicians were busy. This woman proceeded to wait 45 minutes until I was done with mine to be seen. A 45 minute wait with an appointment... I would have left and went on about my day. The technician commented that she was running behind because of a walk in. Apparently, she felt bad for this particular client who likely has diabetes and came to get his toenails clipped. So, and doing that, she was behind schedule. The woman seemed understanding. I'm worried that if I make another appointment I won't be seen on time. And I only want this guy. I don't know why, but he did such a good job I would only request him. I was charge $48. On the website it was 40. I was told that this was for tax. However, eight dollars for tax seems like a lot. If it was for length my nails, my nails are not that long and she should have indicated that it was an increased price for my length. But when I said something about the tax the woman asked me "you're not from around here?" I told her that I am from around here it just seemed like a lot. She said "oh you must not be from here." So, it ate up a significant part of a tip that I could leave. I would go back if my original place was closed or couldn't see me. read more

This is one of my go-to local places for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. Everyone is incredibly friendly and service is efficient. They get you in, do a fantastic job, and get you out. My dip manicure lasts until a decide I want a refresh. I also powerlift and will smash fingers between weights without the dip so much as chipping. Absolutely recommend to everyone! I called and made an appointment for 2 pedicures - one for myself, and one for my 12 yo daughter. They assured me that they had 2 openings (I asked twice). We get there about 5 minutes before the appointment, and there is only one available technician. We were told to pick our polish, and then were sent back to the pedicure seats with one additional customer. There were 3 of us, and one available tech. I asked again twice, if they were able to take us both at the same time. We were assured they could. The available technician started my daughter and sped right through her pedicure - done in 15 minutes, onto that 3rd customer. I waited 15 minutes after sitting for someone else to start mine, which lasted 30 minutes with next to no massage. I have never done this before, but I only left a small tip, as the tip is meant for good service, which I felt we did not get. They could have easily told us there were no appointments at 11:45, and gave us a better time to come in, but they were so desperate for the business you could tell they overpromised (and underdelivered). The polish wasn't even that great as there were bumps in both of our big toes. I have pics if Q would like to see them. Advice: don't tell someone you have available appointments if you don't. And don't shortcut a 12 year old if you expect the customer to pay the full price for the pedicure (which we paid). read more

I stopped in today for the first time, I wish I hadn't. I am waiting at another salon now to get my nails fixed. I was completely ignored when I told her what colors I wanted, so I showed her a picture. I like to have fun with my nails so I had three colors and the colors on my nails are not the colors I picked out. When I pointed out that these weren't the colors I picked, I was ignored and she kept painting. She tried using one color and as much as I didn't want to say something again, I asked her to find the color I originally asked for and she came back with yet again another color I didn't want. She was rude and was visibly annoyed when I asked for the color I wanted. She did what she wanted. I had no choice. $100 and 3.5 hours later, my nails are better. I do not recommend this salon, save your time and money. Even if she did not understand me when I said these aren't the colors I picked, I know one of them heard and didn't help. read more

Called ahead for appointment to get gel mani/pedi. They were busy, so I waited almost 30 min past my appt time to begin service. The gel pedi was mediocre and the guy didn't use the correct color that I initially chose. He tried to tell me that's what color it was, so instead of arguing back and forth (because it seems as if that's what they like to do there), I let him proceed, knowing the entire time that I hated the color. The gel mani was worse. The guy rushed and didn't even allow the UV light to finish on either side; and the polish looked bubbly. He cut my cuticle and didn't even apologize. So I left frustrated after spending $130 with tip. I went back the following day to show the polish had bubbled and shared that my toes did not match the color used for my nails. Again, he argued with me and then charged me $25 to remove polish and reapply. Also, may I add, another patron arrived at this time to also be yelled at by the man for "not knowing what she wanted" and it wasn't until the lady said she would never return, another man took over and fixed her nail. The angry guy took a lap outside...This time around, the mani was done better, but not 100. I was also afraid to say anything as I didn't want the guy to lose his marbles (again) and start yelling at me. Within 24 hours, my nail had a chip in it and so I returned for a 3rd time. Again, argued with the man about what color I had, and he ended up half assing the application of the gel polish, which wasn't even the same color. Instead of feeling uncomfortable and returning for a 4th time, I decided to just share my experience and never return. Horrible customer service and terrible nail services. Do better! read more

I walked in for the first time last week and was promptly seated at a pedi chair, of which they have 5. The salon is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. I opted for the Lime Lust pedicure, their middle-of-the-road offering. It was worth the price, which is reasonable and comparable to other suburban nail salons. The manager performed my mani & pedi and she was very affable and professional, and gave a memorable and thorough foot and leg massage. They have a decent selection of OPI polishes and gel colors. I also loved the small saltwater tank at the drying station, home to a few clownfish and anemones. FYI- This salon is tucked in next to the Indian restaurant at the Mill Run plaza at the northwest end. read more

Loved visiting this salon for a much-overdue pedi and dip! I was hesitant to visit any salon right after the Department of Health allowed them to open after quarantine, but the new owners, Kim & Dat, did a thorough job of meeting the DOH requirements to keep me and them safe. Kim gave me a heavenly relaxing pedicure and new tips with dip - took 2 1/2 hours and she never rushed or made me feel like she wasn't completely focused on me. There are much better places in the area. It's over priced. They do a so-so job. Some of the techs are rude. I watched Julie send a woman away that just wanted them to polish her nails because she said she had an appointment coming in. She sat there watching tv on her laptop the whole time I was there, 1.5 hours, no appointment.They are more expensive than other places and not worth it. They refuse to do regular polish on acrylic nails, even though they put it on your toes, you have to pay for gel?!? Also, don't believe what they say about no tips on credit cards, it's so the owner doesn't need to carry cash to pay them their tips, and those tips don't have to be claimed as income. Very misleading on reviews and prices. I am new to this area (moved here 2 weeks ago) and I decided to give this place a try since it had such great reviews. The girls are nice when you walk in, I waited about 10 minutes before they had my pedicure tub ready. When I went to pay she told me it was $35 + tax for a basic pedicure (no lotion was used, no massage, and I had to ask her to file my nails) not $23 that are listed on Yelp and continue up to $50. I am by no means cheap but this is a typical salon, in a strip mall, in an old building that I wasn't sure if it was even open...nothing fancy going on here and the color selection was not impressive (all dark colors, completely outdated) as one review had said. I brought to the price difference up to the salon owner and she then went on to explain to me she has no idea how Yelp posted the price information and when I asked if she would honor it she said no, that property taxes are high in Hilliard?!? It's bad business in my opinion. She went on to say that it's Yelp's problem and not hers. "Sorry Sweety" was her response to me. Bottom line, I will most certainly never go back and highly recommend not to waste your time and money here. Negative stars. read more
