I went in for a gel pedi. 3 of my toes chipped within a week. They fixed them (but said they would make an exception this time because I came in after a week) it been a week since that and now 3 more toes are chipped or completely gone. My gel usually lasts 1.5 months. Oh and the pedi chairs suck. I get trying to be trendy but they are not comfortable. read more

My nails look nice, but I am extremely unhappy with this salon. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure, and was charged $78- this is absolutely ridiculous. I have never in my life paid such a high amount for those services together- I live in Chicago, and even there it only costs $65 for the same services. I will not be revisiting this salon next time I'm in town. read more

One of the worst pedi experiences I've had :( ...the "deluxe" was done in less than thirty minutes, with very cheap quality lotions (smelled awful), only halfway up my calves, with hardly any massage. I had made it a point to say that I wanted to pick the package with massage. Each leg got only a few minutes each, and it was more like he was lightly spreading lotion rather than massaging. The hot towel was loosely wrapped and I wish I had not paid the extra five dollars to add that in. The employees were all talking loudly, music could hardly be heard, and the TVs were without subtitles. I was really needing a relaxing pedicure (it's been a few months since I had one), and I deeply regret going here. I hate to leave a bad review like this, but it may help someone make a better choice than this place (if you're looking to relax and be pampered a little). read more

Went here yesterday for a pedicure with my friend. We got the deluxe pedicure which entailed a scrub, hot towels, massage, and polish for a fairly good price. We were serviced fairly quickly after arriving, which was a big plus! The technicians were really nice as well! The technician assumed I didn't want a polish, though, so we did have to ask her about the polish when she said I was finished. She quickly got back into it though, painting my toenails. read more

I've always had a really good experience here with pedicures. I got my first gel mani here last sat 3-30 and sadly it was not a very good experience. I've never had a gel mani feel hot while curing. The polish is supposed to last a few weeks, I started noticing lift on the side a few days later and were completely peeling in ten days and I had to take the polish off myself. I'm really hoping it's a fluke but I doubt I'll ever get gel there again. He also wasn't listening to what i was asking for either so that didn't help. read more

First off they're way to expensive. They charge to take off gel nail polish they put on. The first set of nails I got were absolutely flawless. I went to get a balance with a repair and the repaired nail was flat and ugly looking and they said I did it. Not to mention they can't do nail art or follow a simple picture. I don't mind paying for what I like but to charge me to remove polish that was put on by them is absolutely ridiculous. That was it for me moving along. read more

This was my first time here. They offered me a bottled water when I arrived which was a plus. I got the signature pedicure and gel manicure. Usually when I pay extra for a pedicure, I want them to make my feet really soft and get rid of the dead skin with that giant foot scrubber which I have a love hate relationship with... But I didn't get that here :( I feel like for the extra cost, I didn't get much extra. For my gel manicure, they did use LED and I wanted some glitter and he did a great job with that. I may come back but not pay the extra $5 on my pedicure. Also if you pay cash, you get 5% off. read more

Just went in for my fourth time at Maika nails. I recently moved to the area and was struggling to find a good nail salon that had that homey and personal feel to it. The nail technicians are great, their hours accommodate to practically anyone, they are never too busy and always answer the phone. Technicians are talented, friendly, and remember their clients. The store is clean and calm, there's always nice music and a sports game on, they have a charging station for your devices. I could keep going, best salon I could have imagined finding in the area! read more
