I'm not from around here so everything was a bit different than what I'm used to. I usually do my nails myself but this place is pricer than in L.A, at first I was going to get acrylics, when I asked over phone they had quoted 56 for acrylic with gel then in person they said 76 for just a French nail but the guy doing them wasn't answering my questions in regard to how much would it be for an extra design I wanted done he said he didn't know and I had a feeling I was going to be overcharged with that response so I decided to get dip which they quoted $59. Although I requested coffin shape and they said it would be $10 for that... that was my first time hearing that! I went with square for 0 extra fee. The ambiance of the place is nice they have a small waterfall over the counter that was relaxing to hear. Overall lady who's name I didn't get that did my nails was sweet and efficient to me and I am happy with the results so that's why I'm rating 4/5. read more

Came here for the first time for a gel pedicure and SNS. The women cut me a couple times in my toes and my hands. I tried to ask for my nails to be shorter but the lady struggled to understand me so I just went with it. I also asked for the nails to be thicker but she was having a hard time with that too. I got a gel top coat and the same day it peeled off multiple nails. I came back the following day to have them fix the top coat, and yet again the same day they started to peel off. I stopped by one last time to see if they can fix it, and this time they used SNS top coat because they said their dip powder doesn't work well with gel. Within 2 days the SNS top coat started chipping and stained by food I ate. Been doing SNS for years and never had this issue. I wouldn't recommend given my nails are messed up the same day and the cuts on my hands and toes are a bit unprofessional read more

Another fantastic job on my nails from Qnail. I've been going there over 15 years and they are the best in the city. I moved about 5 years ago and tried finding a place closer to where I moved, but I found out, they are worth the 20 minute drive. Recently they got all new pedicure chairs and they are fantastic! There's a great ambiance in there from all of Ann's beautiful plants as well. I have never had any problems with them, they always do the best job on my nails and toes! This is one of my favorite nail stores! Staff here is very friendly and accommodating. If they mess up your nails, they will fix it for you and they usually have spots for walk-ins, but I recommend getting an appointment. They do dip nails and waxing also! My nail tech always listens to what I want and they provide a huge selection of colors and gels. Their equipment and area is clean and really nice. I love coming here and getting my nails done, my hands always feel and look amazing afterward. As for the bad reviews, just check your quality and if your nails are dry, before you leave and also make sure you get the name of the tech because I know the owner deserves better reviews and praise. read more

Updated review because it hasn't even been a week and two of my gel nails have already chipped. Small chips, but still very disappointed they didn't even last a week. Okay I just got my nails done yesterday so I can't report on how long they lasted. I will update my review if they last a short while or I'm not satisfied with the length they last. The salon is very clean and the receptionist was so friendly upon walking in. The only thing was, this was my first time at this salon. Right after I sat down with the lady who was doing my nails, one of her regular customers came in and sat and waited for her to be done. I was able to walk in to get a gel polish. That was appreciated. My cuticles were only pushed back, not trimmed. After the polish, I was given salt scrub and told to go wash my hands. Then I was asked to pay. No lotion. No double-checking the service. The person was quick to move on to the next client. Now, 7 days later, my polish is chipping on both hands. This is probably my favorite salon in Columbus. They are always friendly, they take their time, and they do quality work. You never feel rushed, and they make everyone feel special! My mother is disabled after a stroke. She is in a wheelchair and has no movement in her right leg or arm. I bring her here once a month and they are EXCEPTIONAL! They greet her with "hi, mama!" and are so happy to see her. They are patient as it is hard to keep her hand open for a manicure and to see how gentle they are every time warms my heart. They even help me get her on the platform for the pedicure chair. The staff is never frustrated and always professional and compassionate. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I haven't been to Q nails in a few years. I go to another salon and have been for the past 4 years. However I went to Q nails on Saturday and got a new set of acrylic nails with gel polish over. I didn't have an appointment but they took me right away! They also expanded and it's just beautiful and roomy inside ! Brain is the one who did my nails and he is an absolute perfectionist ( as am, I so I was extremely impressed ). In the 8 years I've been getting my nails done, I've never been more satisfied! Visited for my 1st time yesterday. When I got there I was excited because I haven't got my nails done in a while. I love the color I chose. I am less in love with the rest of my experience there. The woman cutting my nails cut my finger as well as my cuticles. Now there is a gash right next to my fingernail that aches whenever anything touches that finger. She also pushed the gel dryer to close to my hand, resulting in my fingers moving just enough for the gel on one nail to dry adhered to my other finger. I apologized and asked her to fix it which she did. She cut most of the dried gel off, but I had to go back and cut the rest off at home to make my nail look and feel normal. I like my nails, but I was not a huge fan of paying $40 for it, when I'm used to paying like half that. Probably won't come back due to rushed carelessness. read more

Not the shop it use to be. They raised their price on Signature pedi and taken away what they do. They just had my feet in water; no cuticle lotion put on before starting pedi. Really? Then she put some oil on my feet after she did the pedi and said put your feet back in the water. It's all about money now. And heaven forbid you say something while they are doing your feet! Then they start slamming you in Asian to the other technicians! There are other salons out there. The couple who run the salon need to get a reality check. I went in yesterday for the first time and will NEVER go back. The guy that did my fill burned me in 1 spot and cut me in 2 others. The shape of my nails are an absolute disgrace but I wanted to get out and never look back. First he told me $27 for a fill but charged me $40. 3 nails have bubbles in the gel and 2 are so misshapen that it looks like I have abnormal growths under the gel.
