My friend used to visit The Nail Retreat before she moved away in 2019. She was back in town to visit, so she made reservations for 4 pedicures at 11:30 am on Friday. They were ready when we arrived and were patient as we picked our polish colors. We all had a great experience! Linda did my pedicure was very attentive - I had just finished training for and running a half marathon, so my callouses and feet were in rough shape. She shaved down the callouses and but left a little bit there, just like I asked. She was also careful to avoid the 2 almost healed blisters I had from the race. They treated our group so well, from not rushing us to start or to leave, to making sure everyone liked our colors, water temps, massage chairs, etc. They were friendly chatting with us and overall the mood was positive and relaxed. I used the Fresha app to book this appointment. I feel like the app is easy to use and very accurate. I booked a pedicure. The salon was clean and smelled good when i entered the lobby. Quiet music was playing. Lynn was just the right about of chatty. She seem to understand the needs of my feet and listened well. She was gentle and preformed a good massage with scrub. I've been running around trying to find somewhere that would do a hard gel fill and luckily found them. I was able to book the appointment online for a gel manicure with gel builder. I realize hard gel and gel builder are actually different but was able to replicate my experience with hard gel. The entire appointment itself took about an hour. I went in for as a Walk In for a manicure to get french manicure for my nails. Rightfully we decided to go with color as the lengths were a bit off. I ask for a color that would go with my toes. We looked at colors, I picked out one that of the one she assured me would match. This is not a match at all. My nails are lavender. I am out $40 and whatever it will cost to get it removed . She was talkative and personal and made suggestions based on my needs. She removed my acrylics and we did a dip powder mani. First the lady was awesome at taking simple requests (like hotter water than usual), wasn't pushy on other services. Asked where I was from and when I said "off a flight from Chicago" she immediately said "then recline your seat back and sleep. I won't bother you." SO sweet and relaxing. Service was great and massage on deluxe pedi hit the spot. Thumbs up for sure. Usually it's plain chairs or the usual, but the plush chairs and cute decor adds to the experience. Update: It has now been over 2 weeks? My polish is still going strong and hasn't chipped. Tried the Nail Retreat in Dublin after moving to the area recently. I got a set of acrylics and a pedicure. They were running a promotion so the acrylics were only $25! The pedicure was nice, relaxing and looks great. My finger nails look pretty good, but I think I'd like to try the gel nails next time. They are supposed to look more natural and not damage your nails as much. The biggest negative was the wait. Appointments are not required, but are recommended. I made an appointment for 2:30 pm. I got there about 5 minutes late, but it didn't even matter. All the nail techs were in the middle of manicures! They said they'd be with me in a "few minutes," which ended up being about a half hour! I do plan to go back, but I'm not sure if I'll bother making an appointment next time. read more

I went here after a disastrous experience with another nail salon. The nail tech Jacki was fantastic. She had a wonderfully gentle touch and did a great job on my nails. She was able to make them look wonderful even though she had to spend extra time fixing the mess left by another business. The people here are professional, kind and friendly. I went to The Nail Retreat courtesy of a Groupon gift for a Sugar-Scrub Pedicure, and I think I've found my salon "home" in central Ohio. The salon is elegant in an understated way, spotlessly clean and I loved the "vibe" of the place. (Fair warning: there were a couple of other ladies there while I was, that I would think were no more than 5 years older than me, and they complained about the "rock" music that was playing. Personally, I was LOVING the music - it was kind of a bluesy-grunge sound that I found quite appealing.) The pedicure I got was one of the best I've gotten in the Columbus area. In fact, I was impressed enough that I made my next appointment before I left - that's a first for any nail salon I've been to here. Located near Tuttle Mall, the location is great for me - it doesn't hurt that it's within walking distance of my favorite Chinese restaurant (Wind Chimes). :-) If you're looking for a reasonably priced pedicure in a spotless salon, I highly recommend The Nail Retreat. read more

Went here for a groupon I purchased for a "luxury" sugar scrub pedicure. I was early and they told me to pick out a nail polish. Once I did he said come back and then he just stood there. He said you're getting a pedicure right? I said yes and he said well its over there can't you hear the water running? There was nothing luxurious as the entire pedicure was 15 minutes! My feet didn't even soak long enough to feel nice and he seemed rushed. I then sat their waiting for my nails to dry. Upon leaving was told I had to pay $3 cash for tax and if i wanted to tip they didn't accept credit cards, cash only. I will not go back here! read more

I went here for a fill, they apologized immediately because they didn't have the same color ombré for my nails and grabbed the closest colors to what I had. I didn't expect them to have the color, since I had gotten mine done out of state. I had my 4yr old with me, they had her sit next to me and got her a water and asked if she wanted anything. I loved how they made she sure she was just as happy and taken care of as I was. The guy who did my nails, instead of ignoring my little flinches of pain when the thing was too hot.. asked me and then adjusted it. He was extremely nice, made light conversation and my nails look beautiful. I'll be going back there again for sure. I've been to many nail salons and this place is great! The manicure and pedicure I received here was very well done and quite relaxing. The staff are very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and looks very nice. The prices are very competitive with other nail salons as well. I have two nail salons that I prefer and this is one of them! I go to two just in case one of them is busy when I'm trying to get my nails done. Although this place is pricey they have Very good service and the ambience is nice..i got the French tip gel mani, and i think $45 is definitely over priced . I didn't even have old gel polish to be removed . Also their mani didn't include any exfoliation. Good thing, I didn't have to wait for long as a walk in even on a Saturday evening. The ladies getting pedi were really enjoying and relaxing. So if ur looking for spa like exp this is the place. For me I like good and cheap without the fancy stuff.
