It is nice to be able to book your appointments online but the price they give you at booking is absolutely false.. their ability to even put designs on nails is some of the worst I've seen. They charge $55 for a set then added 36 to put a squiggle on every nail. The total price was $86 with no color on the nails just a simple white squiggle. When you have so many choices, I would find a different salon that is honest upfront! read more

Nini was quick and gave beautiful results. This is my second time here and I love it.

Use to be great... I have been here many times since i moved into the area. The people are always really nice, usually can walk in and not wait long to get your nails done. But in the last 2 months they have done something different. My shellac use to last and not even budge for literally 4 weeks. The past couple times after a week they have started falling off like regular nail polish. (Mind you shellac is known for lasting 2 weeks +)They do a great job and they always look nice but after a week they are chipping now!? I pretty much stay away from cleaners, soaking in water, and anything that could make them budge. They even do my nails in the light twice for every coat. I'm not sure if they are skipping a step or the shellac they use is just bad but i won't be back. Also it's $2 something per nail to get fixed.. who has time for that or wants to waste 20-30 mins of your day to wait to get it fixed?! read more

Ok, so you are all probably wondering why I went with three stars after saying in my check in that I was displeased with my half an hour wait for a pedicure. Yes, I waited half an hour and almost decided to leave but my patient side said give them a try and even if they can't communicate well with you, stick it out. I took some initiative and went back to the area where the pedicures were being done and sat down also communicated with those around the area to get some help adjusting the water to the right temperature. Then finally a lady came up and said hi, how are you? How is your water today? I didn't want to say what I was really thinking since I was a little frustrated that I was almost doing her job before she got there. She promptly started with taking out my previous nail polish, then scrubbing my feet and also removing the calluses. My feet are becoming super rough because I workout so often that they naturally dry up and become rough. The one thing I liked about this lady is she was gentle with my feet. If you read my other reviews, the problems with those nail salons were that they would dig into my toenail causing it to bleed and this lady realized not to do that. Maybe because she was from Georgia and had a bunch of experience in this. I also got some advice from her not to cut my toenail so short. I only do it because when I workout, I don't like the feeling of long nails. Even my fingernails need to be short. I only ever grew them out for my wedding and I was in agony that week because I don't like long nails at all. Probably something I grew up with since my parents would constantly cut my nails if they were too long. The price is comparable to other nail salons. So not too much for a pedicure. I don't know if I'll be back but it was worth giving the place a try. read more

I love this place. Stephanie is the tech I usually go to here, but when she's not there, I see Minnie (the owner) or her husband. The techs are so well trained and Stephanie really takes her time on your nails and doesn't rush anything. She's always very accommodating to color changes or pattern ideas. I get my nails done every two weeks and if they don't have any open appointments, then I'll wait the extra day or so until they can fit me in. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I love this place! I've been here multiple times and have had four different nail techs- and have liked 3/4. About three weeks ago(late March) I visited to get a full set of acrylics and was pointed to a chair with a man I had never seen in the shop before. He was somewhat rude in his conversation and shaped my nails far too quickly, they were all different shapes and lengths and just did not look up to the standard I expect when visiting Haven. OMgosh! I know they take walk ins. BUT if I call and make an appointment, and then I still have to wait almost 45 mins, that is NOT an appointment. So why bother??? After I sit out front for about 15 mins, I was taken back to the pedi chair and told to relax. No water to soak in, just sit in the chair for 45 mins. Not even a magazine to flip through! SLICED AND DICED!!!! I was incredibly disappointed with my pedicure! Half way through my pedicure the nail tech was scrubbing my feet with the "cheese grater" thing and cut my foot! He was scrubbing so hard that when I tried to pull my foot back he grabbed it harder, pulling my foot towards him and that's when he grated my freaking skin off. Probably one of the worst places to have a cut on your foot. Right on the side of my big toe!! Not only do I still have the three scares from the three gapping holes in my foot I wasn't able to wear heels to work for 8 weeks....in the dead of winter!!!!!! It gets better....after he cut my foot he put the blue antiseptic on my cuts and it burned so badly that I was tempted to get up and just walk out. Against my better judgment I stayed and he tried several more times to put the antiseptic on but I yelled at him telling him, "that really hurts, do not put that on my cuts again!!" After he had finished my nails he asked if I would put my boots on...obviously to cover up his mistake. I couldn't bare putting my shoes on! My foot hurt so badly...it was throbbing! He didn't even tell the owner about his mess up - I still paid the bill and gave him an undeserving tip. After getting home I decided to call the owners of the salon to tell them what had happened and to request a refund. She told me that they do not give refunds and requested that I come back into the salon to show them PROOF of the cuts on my foot. She offered a discount for my next visit. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???? Why on earth would I go back to have my feet mutilated further? Lesson learned.....Haven Nail Salon is the worst place I've ever had my nails done...horrible customer service...tech's are not trained properly. This has also caused me to not want the "cheese grater" service when getting Pedi's...no way in hell will I have my foot sliced open like that again. I liked it here. The guy doing my nails was great. I got a mani and pedi with gel. They look great. I didn't get bored, he was friendly. There were a lot of colors to choose from. I don't really ever get my nails done so I'm not certain if the prices were competitive, but I will tell you, it was $90 for my toes and fingers with gel polish. A few days ahead of time, I made an evening appt for a pedi on a week day. I arrived 15 mins early and picked out a color. Their color selection was pretty bad -- it was poorly organized and they didn't have a whole lot to choose from. I sat in the waiting area for 30 mins until an employee walked close enough to me for me to ask how much longer they expected my wait to be (the whole time I waited, a male employee looked over at me numerous times, but did not get up or acknowledge me). The employee sat me in a pedi chair where I waited another 15 mins (a total of 30 mins late for my appt) before my tech was able to begin my pedi. He was very nice and did a good job which is the only reason I gave any stars at all. Two things about Haven Nails bothered me -- Why make an appt if you're going to make me wait 30 mins? If you're going to make customers wait, at least sit us in the pedi chair so that we can soak comfortably. Time is very valuable so please don't waste mine by making me wait so long for my scheduled appt. (I had been to this salon one other time, about 3 years ago. I had no issues that last time but didn't enjoy myself enough to come back too soon) read more

We were told to come now and they would have spots waiting for us. We were there in 7 minutes. The salon was full of people and there is no way they were able to fit us in. We waited 20 minutes and when we asked how much longer the guy said "5 minutes or you can just go" WTH. If you plan to make several trips to fix your nails, go there! Polish does not last! I went in right before my vacation and the first day on the beach all of my toe polish cracked and peeled off. My friend did her own at home and hers lasted the entire week, I had to pay for a lousy job. When I had my acrylic nails, had to go back twice to get nails fixed once because the gel peeled off and the other one because it was so thin and broke. They did not charge me to fix my acrylic nails but still the inconvenience is worth a lot. Maybe I just had a bad tech I don't know. read more

They are rude, they jacked up the prices, and they flat out told me I was wrong when I said I normally get my solar nails buffed out and not painted with gel (they just wanted to up charge me the gel). Their prices are competitive and the quality is great. Sometimes I feel they do take a little longer than other places I have been for a pedicure, but the difference is worth it when they're done.
