I had one of the most unprofessional experiences at HH Nails! I came in to have my Gel-X nails removed and replaced with gel polish on my natural nails. I asked clearly about the price upfront, but the male technician who started working on me immediately began asking invasive questions ,where I got my nails done previously, where I work, what company I work for, and even why I chose that salon. It didn't feel like casual conversation it felt like he was trying to size me up based on my appearance. I felt uncomfortable and asked why he was asking; he simply brushed it off, saying he was "just making conversation." It felt rude and inappropriate. Midway through the service, without any explanation, he handed me off to a different technician . I had originally booked both a manicure and a pedicure, but only received the manicure . By that point, I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave. What made the situation worse was how differently I was treated compared to the white women in the salon. While he was warm and friendly with them, his attitude toward me was cold . As a Black woman, I know when I'm being treated differently and this was clearly one of those times. I will not return to HH Nails , and I don't recommend it to anyone expecting professionalism, respect, or fair treatment ! read more

Loved it there for a quick pedicure. Started going for acrylics and every time I would leave unhappy. Two weeks in, on almost every set or balance I would lose a nail. Nails were always breaking, chipping, lifting or becoming dingy. The shine and the quality just isn't there. Sure nail fixes are included in how you pay, but I don't have all day or week to go back and forth to the salon. Melanie is over bearing, annoying, controlling, micro manager for every client and every interaction. I hate going there when she's there. She's too worried about the computer next to her and who is walking in verses the person in front of her. All techs head to the back when they are done with their client and then take forever to surface when it's your turn. Like we are putting them out. I have tried to give them a second and third and forth chance on making things right and I can't bare to spend money on nails that just don't last. Of course they want to say that in doing something to harm them rather than doing quality work. Washing my hands and anti bac isn't going to do those things to my nails... even minutes after leaving the salon. Nice try ladies. You need better quality control. And better products. One time Melanie added more clear polish or something to the polish I had requested. That's didn't help. It prolonged the product for them, but the polish on my nails lasted about 1.5 weeks. This is my favorite place to get gel manicures and pedicures! When I walk in the door greeted by name to everyone saying hi to me! I always get my manis and pedis done by Melanie! She's the best! She picks my colors for me and my nails look amazing!! I have many friends that frequent Eco and they have nothing but great things to say. All the girls do a great job! Also this place is so clean! This used to be my favorite place but lately it has been hit or miss. It's very pretty inside and they have a great selection of colors. But... I have often been placed with the manager for a manicure. She's very nice but she is constantly checking her phone and laptop during the manicure. She seems very distracted and it has resulted in the quality not being as good. She will yell over your shoulder to the girl at the front desk with demands, as well. It's just not the relaxing experience you hope to have. I always make an appointment, but I often have to wait past the time of my appointment until they can take me (one time almost an hour past). I have made appointments and they've had no record of me when I showed up. I also once made an appointment for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. On the phone she confirmed them both but in person they said they had no record of the eyebrow wax and would not have time to do it. I was also very uncomfortable during a visit with my mom, who was in town visiting. We were getting pedicures side-by-side. The lady doing my toes was making conversation with both of us. She asked my mom where she was from, and when my mom told her Cleveland she replied by talking about how many Jews there are in Cleveland and how expensive their stores are and that they have weird hours. It was definitely not meant in a positive way. My mom and I, who both happen to be Jewish, felt extremely uncomfortable with this conversation. I don't think she meant to be unkind, I think she was just trying to be friendly and make conversation to be honest, but it was pretty awful. I also find ECO Nails to be more expensive than other places. At first it was worth it but I've had many manicures there lately where the quality is just not there. This was a horrible experience. Got a dip-mani and left looking good. 4 days later the entire polish on 2 just fell off. They did repair it but a day later polish popped off in a nail on the other hand. Never again! read more

Today I had the pleasure of getting a gel polish manicure at Eco Nail Spa, they are eco friendly as their name suggests but they're also just plain friendly. A beautiful space on the main drag just outside of downtown Powell closes to Sawmill Parkway, they are friendly, very good at what they do, Melanie did an excellent job on my manicure and told me all the things I needed to do to keep my nails healthy. Don't let the location and decor fool you, this place is very reasonable, I had a manicure with gel polish for $44 with tip....not bad :) I'll definitely be going back for my next manicure and pedicure! read more

I tried Eco Nail Spa for the first time the other day. I went in for a Bliss Pedicure. My experience was mostly positive. The good: the establishment was very clean, and I did love the pedicure. It's one of the best I've ever had, actually. My feet really felt and looked much better afterward. I really loved the mud masque they used on my feet and legs. The massage chair worked well and they had a good selection of magazines to read. The less good: they really want to encourage you not to use your credit cards here. I mean, they DO take them. But they offer 5% discount for cash, which is fine. What is odd though is when they handed me my receipt, there was no line to write in the tip. "Uh....how do I tip?" I asked. I was told that I could either write a check or I could "just come back." I asked did this mean run to an ATM and shuffle back, cash in hand? Apparently it did. And that was so not happening. So I had to write a check made out to cash for the tip. Really odd setup, one I've never encountered before. And as you can see from my reviews, I do love me some spa action. The techs do a good job but based on my limited experience of mine and the woman in the chair next to me, they aren't chatty. If you like to socialize with your pedicurist, I don't know that you'll get that here. I wasn't clear what was "eco" about the salon. They have the standard assortment of OPI polishes, plus a few others. Maybe some of the other products are eco? The prices are pretty reasonable: higher than a strip mall mani/pedi location but a bit lower than a salon's. read more

I have been going here for 5+ years. I have tried pretty much every other place in Powell and many in Dublin. Eco Nails is my favorite! You can't go wrong here- all the nail techs are amazing and friendly. The place is always very clean. I pretty much always make an appointment (they accept walk-ins but, due to Eco's popularity you're better off having an appt) and they rarely keep me waiting. I highly recommend! read more

Don't waist your money. Just don't. I spent about $50 to get my acrylic nails off, and just get a gel manicure. She soaked off my nails, but for only about 4 minutes. She then came back and started chipping them off. When she had chipped all she could chip off, she started drilling over the rough acrylic parts, and then just started painting my nails. Now my nails are all bumpy and I'm going to have to fix them myself, which should have been done. Also, when she put the gel on, I thought everything would be fine. I asked for white but I got more of an gray ish blue. I wasn't satisfied at all, but when I told her she just said, "it look better when all nail painted.". It didn't. About 2 days later, my nails starting chipping. I HAD GEL NAILS. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO LAST ATLEAST 3 WEEKS! I could have painted my nails and they would have lasted longer. Love this place!! It is a little pricey but clean and really friendly customer service. Only have been twice and loved both visits. Only thing I would change is how they don't tip with credit card. Absolutely terrible. I came here shortly after 7:00pm as I just started working in a hospital and work late hours. The woman at the front desk refused me because apparently they take their last client at 7:00 despite their door and online saying they close at 8:00pm . All I needed was an acrylic nail soak off which is not an extensive service and there were at least 5 other women inside still receiving services. Obviously if the entire store was dead and quiet I would not have attempted to come in, as that would be rude on my part. I offered to pay double for the service and she still said no claiming she (herself) was done for the day. Pathetic that you can't accommodate a customer that definitely would have made it worth your while. Terrible people skills and I would never return or recommend to anyone. read more

It's the worst experience I've ever have. The tools they use is dirty. They didn't sanitize it. They charge too much, and the people there is really rude. It's really dirty isn't the back. If you want disease then you're going to the place. They're pedicure chairs is full of mold and they reuse anything they can to save money. It didn't last at all and I don't really know why because when I get my nails done elsewhere, with just regular OPI polish, they can last up to two weeks! I got a gift card for my graduation so I went and got a gel with French tips. For upwards of $60 for a gel manicure I expected to to stay for the two weeks that it is guaranteed. This chipped within two days. I went back and asked for them to fix it and they refused! Ridiculous! Very disappointed. I will not be going back. read more
