It was a last minute decision to get a pedicure today. I'm in town for a few days visiting family and friends and was not sure where to go. This is why I LOVE YELP! I did my research and decided on Nail Lounge in the Polaris area. I called first to see if they had any availability. And I was in luck. I didn't want to just do a walk in. Setting an appointment is always a good way to go. Mara is awesome. She took great care of my toes. I have fat thick toes. And she gave my nails a look that I have never have. And she also gave me some tips to share with the foLos back in Tampa. Her cuticle care is amazing. Me feet actually look cute. Lol. Thank you Mara and Nail Lounge for your hospitality. Oh how I love (and miss) N Lounge! This has been my go to nail spot for 5+ years and since moving away it's been a challenge to find a salon that does a gel manicure/pedicure like they do. My gel nails last 3+ weeks every single time, typically even more. I mean no chipping, no peeling, still flawless! N Lounge allows walk-ins but prefer to work off of appointments. I recommend scheduling an appointment because you're guaranteed to get in and out with the manicurist of your choice and they're always on time. Melinda is my favorite! She takes her time and makes sure that everything is perfect, and it always is. I've never not been pleased with her work which is why I always visit when I'm back in town! Their prices are comparable to other salons around the city but their "frequent customer" card is an added bonus. Get a stamp each time you visit and after a few trips you get money off of your services. The secret is to get your mani and pedi separate since you only get one stamp per visit. My favorite nail spot in Columbus! I've been going here since high school! Melinda is my go to! She does my mani and pedi and never disappoints! I am an esthetician so I work with my hands a lot and my gel nails last anywhere between 2-3 weeks before they start lifting. I've had a variation of pedicures here and everything always looks great but the only con for me is no matter which pedicure I receive, my heels don't hydrated and smooth like I would hope for after a pedicure. They always have on HGTV which is a plus! They also have a stamp card for every time you visit that saves you money and a discount for students! I Definitely recommend trying them out! read more

I stopped in here a couple of weeks ago before I went to Vegas. They were able to squeeze me in for a mani pedi, which I'm grateful for. They did a great job on my pedicure, based on my ravaged feet (I'm a server-Nuff said). The water in the foot tub was initially warm; however, the water temp increased as the pedi continued. I think there are heaters in the tub to control the water temp. I did have to take my feet out a couple of times for a bit of reprieve. Keep this in mind when you go there. You might want to start with lukewarm water. My gel mani is still intact and holds up to the rigors of restaurant work. I will be going back for another gel mani soon. read more

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was told there would be a wait but they would squeeze me in. Melinda did an amazing job. They had such an amazing selection of color. The place was buzzing and yes HGTV was still on the TV. I am beyond impressed and I love my gel mani. read more

They do a good job at their manicures and pedicures and at the time I was there had a steady stream of customers. They are very attentive to what they do and will not blink an eye if you pick a color and then decide after it's on to change it. They charge about $5 more if you want OPI product used on you (which I always prefer) and some of those scrubs smell very nice indeed. Their price range seems about average or perhaps a tiny bit lower than what I've experienced at other places. Where I mark them down? They don't have massage chairs (eh, just me I like the things) and the smell of the place. This salon has that "product" smell that made me nauseous and I had to leave before my pedicure dried (or cured/cooked/whatever under those lights). If it wasn't for that smell I would go back. read more

I lucked into the Nail Lounge (N Lounge Salon) through a Google search for "nails 43240" and am so glad to have found it. I've had experiences at nail salons and spas in Columbus ranging from good-but-overpriced (Penzone, I'm lookin' at YOU) to oh-my-God-awful (Central Nails in Worthington gave me a nail fungus via pedicure). N Lounge makes up for all of those experiences, and then some. It's clean, reasonably priced, and staffed by estheticians who are knowledgeable, talented and careful with your nails. Melanie in particular is wonderful -- friendly, funny, chatty, and quick with her craft! They fit me into the schedule without an appointment on my first visit and Melanie removed and reapplied my Gelish polish within 30 minutes. Because I hadn't made an appointment, I opted not to get the full manicure services on that visit -- they were so gracious that I wanted to be respectful of their time as well -- but I made careful mental notes to try more of the services on my next visit, and I was NOT disappointed! Personally, I love the grapefruit scented scrub -- smells so delicious I want to lick it! Make an appointment so you can savor the experience. How can you not love Nail Lounge or N Lounge as my friends and I affectionately call it! I was able to visit this past weekend while in Cbus for a college friend's wedding. I wanted to rock a new summer polish so I turned to N Lounge. It being a Saturday afternoon in the summer my friend and I had to wait a bit for our manicures. Luckily there is so much stuff close by to keep you occupied that before we knew it. It was time for our manicures. The girl doing my manicure was great. I love how my nails are shaped. I also love that the polish last so much longer than if I were to paint my own nails. My friend and I made sure to book our pedicure appointments for later this summer. Despite all the great reviews my experience wasn't so good personally :( I went in yesterday for an express manicure nothing too difficult! Unfortunately this morning my cuticles started bleeding and are very cracked and dry also my polish is already peeling :/ cuticle oil is definetly a necessity in my case lol only giving 2 stars bc despite my experience the space is very clean and the staff were nice I was seated very quickly (: Just won't be back for a simple manicure read more

Nail Lounge has a beautiful facility, but the service is downright terrible. I was looking for a salon in the area for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding, and tested them out by booking an appointment for a mani for myself the month before my wedding. They weren't ready for me until almost a half hour after my appointment time, and the tech cut me pretty badly on two fingers with the cuticle trimmers, but it seemed very clean and the pedi stations looked super relaxing so I decided to book them anyway. On the day of my wedding, three of my bridesmaids and I were booked for mani-pedis. Two of us showed up about 5 minutes early and they got us right into chairs for our pedicures. The other two drove separately and were 5 minutes late. The lady at the front desk told them that since they were late they wouldn't have time for both services and had to pick one. Since we had booked "lounge" services, we asked if they could just skip the massage portion or let us downgrade to "express" services (which they advertise as being 5 minutes quicker) and they refused. I understand that we have to take responsibility for being late, but I was really disappointed that they weren't willing to work with a bride on her wedding day for over $200 worth of business. I feel like they could've easily shaved 5 minutes off a mani-pedi combo. Because half of us were already in chairs for pedicures, we decided to get the pedicures and then all go elsewhere for manicures. But being mid-day in a busy mall area on a Saturday, that was not an easy task. I would probably have gone back for pedis (I'm not as picky about my toes, and the pedi stations really are relaxing), but won't after they caused me so much stress on my wedding day! read more

Awful service! I've never been here before but googled nail salons this was closest to me, so I went... I came in at 645 and wouldn't have wasted my time if I would have known they closed at 7.Google shows they close at 8. I asked to get a balance and they informed me they close in 15 minutes and turned me away! Their advertising fault cost them money and a bad review, plus closing in 15 minutes isn't closed. read more

I see all the positive reviews and I'm sure it was just me that had a bad experience, first off my appointment was at 2:00, I wasn't in the chair until 2:20. Mind you, this is a middle of the week, slow day appointment. Then, the lady who was doing my nails was very rude. I started giggling and jerked my foot a little because it tickles when they scrub the bottoms and she asked me "do you not want me to do this?" In a very rude tone. After she did my nails I wasn't told how long to wait for them to dry. They seemed dry so I started gathering my things and of course I smudge one. So the receptionist went back to get the lady and it literally took 10 minutes for her to come out and fix my smudge. But they ended up smudging again so basically I just threw money down the toilet and was treated bad. Yay. read more

Came here for the first time with my mom, best friend, and maid of honor to get pedicures before my wedding. Front desk receptionist could not differentiate the difference between each type of service offered. None of the technicians introduced themselves or even attempted to make small talk. I was very specific about removing my callous s and cracked heels since I am wearing sandals for my wedding. My feet looked the same when I left: dry and cracked, callous's still there. The technician doing my sister's feet dug too deep, even after being asked to stop, to the point that her toe was bleeding. Then, the technician dumped alcohol on her foot, causing it to sting. The same technician was also using nail polish to paint her scuffed up shoe while we were picking colors out. Not impressed, will not be back. read more

First time visitor... Will not return. They had run out of foil to soak off my gel polish so instead soaked them by putting my hand directly into a bowl of acetone... Didn't soak long enough and had to scrape it off with two different rough files making my nails very scraped looking and thin. At the end It never set. I told the nail tech it wasn't set. She argued with me that it's not supposed to be set .. Um that's how gel works. The light sets it. She told me I didn't put it under the light. I had done the light 3 times. I told her the light was awkward for me, low because I am tall. She told me it wasn't awkward. When she went to put the final spray on so I could be done, the polish CAME OFF. Meanwhile she did not get the gel off my skin before I went under the light. Now it's stuck there. And there's some on my palm too. When I finally got up and went to the manager the tech told the manager I was lying .. Said I didn't put it in the light. I said I did it 3 times for each coat. They could NOT work out fitting me in later today to fix this (I was due back at work).. They sent me away with semi-tacky gel polish, half missing, one hand filed shorter than the other and still raggedy underneath.. Put a coat of clear on top to at least make my half painted sloppy nails shiny. Didn't charge me / shouldn't have charged me for sure, that was the right decision. Never returning. read more

This place is great! We had 8 people come in on the Friday before my wedding for a mani/pedi party. It was our parents and the bridesmaids, and we had a great time. The staff were all great, and we were all very happy with our nails! The shop is set up great for parties and they were very accomodating! Overall, I was pretty bummed. The service was great and everyone was very nice. Large selection of nail polishes for any occasion. I got the $37 pedicure and it was much quicker than I would have liked... only ~20 minutes. This didn't give enough time to soak my feet and get rid of my winter calluses. My wife goes to nail salons all the time and this was by far the best experience. The pedicure stations are amazing.. the chairs do not massage, but that's maid up for in the price. 35 dollars for a pedicure and a massage!! I had a pedicure here on Friday in prep for my son's graduation Sunday. On Sat afternoon I discovered I had chipped my big toenail while doing grad party prep! I went back hoping I could just use the polish to fill in the chip, no more. These folks totally exceeded my expectations! The owner took me back, removed all the polish from my toenail and redid the nail so it was flawless, then touched up all the other nails so they looked fresh and brand new. This place is very clean and the ladies and gentleman that do nails here are amazing! I always get wonderful compliments on my manicure and pedicure. They have a great little reward system card that gives discounts at certain times when you come back. The pedicure chairs aren't like the normal ones (they don't massage) but they are still relaxing! I read so many good reviews about this place & went there for the 1st time today. But this 1st time turned to be my last time. I did not like the services & would not recommend this to anyone. I opted for a basic manicure which turned to a french one as I asked so adding 5 more $ to the basic one but it was just a white strip on the edges (even the french manicure set I have at home a two shade in it). I was so disappointed. For what seemed a swanky place, I had an awful pedicure. The best part about it was the metal file they used to take off the dry, callused skin. (They do sanitize these. I saw a bunch going in a sanitizer machine.). The nail tech kept saying she was messing up on my red toe nail polish because my nails were short. In the end, I had that pinky-red color on my skin around my nails from too many mistakes and even full on streaks of dried red polish further down between my toes. I paid over $40 for this! AWFUL! I'd have been better off going elsewhere or doing it at home. read more
