I went in for a Manicure and gel polish. I was greeted by one lady and sat down with her however after one hand she sent me off to another young lady. I did not receive the manicure unless that is only cutting of my cuticles and a little filing. On a good note, my gel polish looks pretty. I won't be going back. It is okay that you didn't think I was a tipper, or I wasn't buying enough and that is why you gave me over to the young new girl however I should have at least gotten what I paid for. I went in - asked for a balance with clear polish - a balance is $30 - I was charged $45 - I asked why is this so expensive? - they proceeded to tell me and fight me tooth and nail about putting gel polish on when I asked for a regular clear polish... she said she assumed gel and didn't ask... as a "professional" being clear with money and how you charge is common sense, asking the client and being thorough is your responsibility as a service provider. I didn't want gel. I wanted a clear polish per request. Upon viewing the website, there is NO indication that gel removal, gel add on, or even an acrylic fill is available or even a charge. There is also a $5 charge for filing your nails down and reshaping them when you get a balance. Since when are people nickel and diming for services? I've never had any nail tech charge me for a part of the service that is included in a balance - when you're balancing you're shaping the nail ANYWAYS. This is bizarre when you have an unclear menu, poor communication, and a subpar service... this wasn't worth $45 when I was in the chair for maybe 15-20 minutes. With a clear polish... I won't be back. This was honestly so unacceptable to spend that amount of money on something that takes far less effort than a colored polish, a gel colored polish or even regular colored polish. This is my second review not this nail salon. They are wonderful and do great work. The vibe is always upbeat and fun. I had gotten my nails done at another salon that didn't do quality work so all of the new nails broke. I had to go to get the 2 broken nails fixed Dena did them for me and didn't even charge me to fix them. Bring your nail business here they are so awesome highly recommended! Thank you! read more

My wife and I both got pedicures and manicures and we both tipped the girls that did the work. when I got to the cash register, the cashier said that would be $124.00 then I pulled out a credit card she said with a card it would be $132.00. they charged me $8 to use a credit card. I had an appointment and had to wait because they said several employees called off. I was fine with waiting but then my pedicure and mani were rushed and done poorly. The employee who told me to get out of the pedicure chair was extremely rude and there was no communication between staff. I don't keep up with my nails often but I get pedicures for vacations, weddings, etc. DC is my go-to. Every other place I've gone, my polish chipped within a few days. I started going to DC and it lasts MONTHS. Literally until I go to get my next bi-annual pedi (lol) and they remove it from the last time. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

refused service because I had wrote a prior review about the price of nails. which was absolutely ridiculous and NOT discussed prior, somehow always rack on extra money. I made an appointment, drove 20 minutes just to get refused service by LYNN. I believe that is her name, wouldn't even give me her name because she is scared lol. i'll just let everyone know, BEWARE. For some little baby nails, colored pink, you'll be paying around $70. Now me, I just can't accept that but I wanted to give them another chance since i used to like them a lot. DC Nails is located in the Kroger plaza next to Cardo's. There are 8 mani chairs and 8 pedi chairs with 3 TVs for your viewing pleasure. The nail technicians are all pretty friendly. During my first visit, I had two different technicians for my manicure and pedicure. The tech that handled my manicure stopped a few times to assist others with their manis/needs. It was a little annoying so I am glad it did not happen during my second visit. For my second visit, I had the same nail tech for both my manicure and pedicure. She was very attentive and great! My six year old daughter came with me for the second visit and got her fingers and toes painted - $20 for just polish. The polish came off her fingers during her bath that same night (insert eye roll). While I enjoyed the services that I received, I will probably not bring my daughter back as the polish was expensive and came off the same day. read more

It took me 3 years and about 6 different nail shops before I found this gem! They have great customer service, and every nail tech that has done my nails so far has been on point! They are meticulous and take their time to make sure everything is perfect! My nails last up to 3 weeks, easily and each time I go, I have to get my nails cut down because they are growing like crazy! DC Nails is Amazing! They have earned a loyal customer!! I have yet to find a good nail place since I moved to Pickerington. I randomly picked DC nails, and I will not be going back. The person that did my nails seemed like they wanted timo be anywhere but there. I had an appointment for 10:30 but I still had to wait about 15 minutes. The actual acrylic is good so far, and I was in and out in a little over an hour. But they were very aggressive. I left unhappy with my french tips, and with cuts all around my cuticles. It was painful, and not worth my $50. After leaving and talking to my friends, they had similar experiences. Would not recommend. read more

I arrived on time for my appointment and waited in the lobby area for 15 minutes for a pedicure chair. Then I waited almost 45 minutes with my feet in the water and no one so much as glanced my way. When I got up to leave after almost an hour of wasted time later, all they said was "maybe you can book another time?" First, I've always loved how my toes look when I go for a pedicure! I usually get the deluxe one and the leg massage and paraffin treatment is so relaxing. Everyone has always been so nice there, I usually wait until last minute to make my appointment, so I've had several nail techs and I've enjoyed each one. They work so hard to keep the place very clean, including bagging trash right away so it doesn't have that overwhelming chemical smell when you walk in most other places. read more

I am SO in love with DC Nails. I've been coming here since the new owners took over and have nothing but a great time when I'm there. The owners are amazing! I walk in and they instantly know what I want. The staff is super sweet as well and they're all great! It's very clean. Fun environment and friendly. I'm very picky about the thickness of my nails and they hit it spot on everytime! Im so sad to be moving out of state but I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the ares again. I went to the shop because I was pressed for time and it had a 5-star rating and they were right down the street when I requested if he did on ombre nails, first he was preoccupied with his computer I didn't see any nail techs but nevertheless he stated they don't do that and told me to go down the street to CK Nails. I didn't necessarily want ombre nails I was just trying to decide what I wanted but I don't like making somebody give me a service that they don't want to do cuz clearly he didn't want to and there's two other shops that I'm going to post that I've had this experience with. I'm not sure how they received five stars which is why I chose them over CK Nails anyways but they must be doing the reviews themselves because that customer service was -5 read more
