Had a girls self-care day with the family! It went great! They even did my kids nails. Lovely space and very kind people.

Very blah quality, I was being impatient and didn't stick with my girl but was also looking to explore new places. Got a mani pedi completed in the same time it took another individual to get a single pedicure and I still have some rough spots on my feet.. I have some callus but nothing major by any means, normal wear and tear of an adult male who does maintenance. I paid $100 for just a basic mani pedi which I feel is decent but they simply over charge for the necessities and then create numerous tiers of service to justify why getting the bottom of your feet scraped isn't a part of a basic pedicure. I didn't need the mud mask and other features for a "signature" pedicure with an additional $10 for clear matte coating. The girl helping me was nice, didn't catch her name, little English but she tried. Overall not impressed and don't plan to be back and wouldn't recommend. I'll keep searching. When you come in, there are iPads to sign in, basic massage chairs and loud music.. nothing fancy but still clean environment. read more

I have been going to Icon Nails in Pickerington for years. I am a generous tipper. But today I just had the most horrible experience I have ever had since I started getting my nails 'professionally' done. Which has been for over 20+ years. My natural nails have always been very nice and healthy. They grow very long so I have never needed to get tips EVER. I get dip powder just to strengthen my nails, help me keep my length and prevent broken nails. Today when I was serviced, I was in tears when I left. My nails were butchered! The 'technician' or manicurist whatever he is credentialed as was horrible and should not be doing any one's nails. He left my nails with uneven, jagged lengths with hairs and fibers in/on my nails. I walked in with long beautiful nails that only needed a fill and left with my cuticles and nails butchered, jagged and misshapened $58 dollars later. This was the first time I have not left a tip. My nails need to be redone but I just could not sit through a nother round. Plus I don't want to see how bad my natural nails were damaged. I am very sad and disappointed. I don't know the name of the person that did my nails. It was the older gentleman that wears a baseball cap and glasses. read more

Came here for a balance and not only was i rushed in the whole process, my nails didn't look anything like the picture i showed my tech. one week after getting my nails done and i see mold growing under one of my nails. what started as a small black dot, grew over night to cover my whole nail. i called to talk to someone about it and she told me that i would have to pay to get the nails taken off and then also pay for the medicine to fix the problem. she tried to say that it couldve come from a different salon, but i have only been getting my nails done here. unimpressed with the lack of professionalism from staff and management. will not being going back and i would never recommend this place to friends and family. read more

This is a great nail salon. They are very clean and sanitary, and quick with service if needed. The only thing that bothers me is their walk-in clients expecting the most when they're just a walk-in. Do not walk in expecting the salon to squeeze you into their tight schedule of other walk-ins and appts, and do "the works" on your nails. Seriously, if you want something more than a quick paint & balance... make a friggen appt. It will be worth it, I promise. It gives the nail techs the opportunity to block out a time to do the service(s), instead of squeezing you in between other walk-ins and appts and making you or another person wait. Nail art, full sets and/or multiple services should be scheduled in an appt. That said- they are still great at multi-tasking and not making anyone wait too long. They always give me great service and my mani/pedi always looks flawless when I walk out of there. Being a daughter of a cosmetologist of over 40+ years (grew up with it my whole life), I am very picky. I have been to almost every salon in Pickerington, but they so far have been the very best and cleanest. Make an appointment, be clear of what services you would like during your appointment, and you will not be disappointed when you leave. Also- tip them well! read more

They can only do gel polish. I didn't want my nail beds buffed with a drill so I wanted regular polish. They couldn't provide French tips with regular polish. And gel polish cost more. read more

The male who did my gel mani seemed more interested in the video on his phone than looking at my nails. Instead of waiting for my previous gel polish to soak off, TWO people tried to pry it off of my nails which 1) hurt; 2) is damaging. They also used an electric file, which also causes damage. I wish I would've told them not too but I get nervous in those situations and do not feel comfortable doing so. The gel looks okay- which is why I gave two stars. I've definitely had better gel polish before, But the damage underneath the gel is what I'm more upset about. read more

I've been a client at Nails by Jade for many years, and, even having received manicure and pedicure services all over the world (New York City, Chicago, Denver, Edinburgh, etc.), Thu gives the best manicures I've ever had. She's very methodical and thorough, paying special attention to cuticles and consistent nail length and shape for manicures. For pedicures, she's excellent at callous removal and has saved my big toenails from falling off multiple times due to the stress of distance running. My dip manicures consistently last for three weeks, longer than any other nail service I've ever had, and the salon has a very wide selection of colors for dip, gel, and traditional polish. Technician did not listen to my request. I feel that when I pay $60 for a full set I should have a say in what goes on my body!! I asked for a short, thin full set. I got a bulky, awful full set. I paid extra for 2 specialty nails. I asked for a nail with glitter. When I told her I wanted a glitter that was more pronounced and not as clear she proceeded to cake on the glitter polish to hurry me out. This affected the shape of my nails and made them incredibly uneven. Then I asked for a marble design on my ring finger. The technician either hadn't done it before, or there was someone walking her through it in front of me for no reason. I'm sorry, but I didn't pay $60 to be your model that you practice this design on. I mentioned multiple times that I was starting a new job and it was crucial that my nails were on point. When I asked for her to redo my marble because they looked like zebra stripes, she began snatching my hands and literally throwing the polish onto my nails. Then when I complained, another staff member said "well not all marble looks the same". How insulting. Of course not all marble looks the same but there is a difference between marble and zebra stripes. I still never got the "marble" effect. Which by the way, I never would've asked for until they showed me their sample nail of a marble design that looked incredible. Additionally, while I was letting my tech know while my nail was still wet that I didn't like the design, another tech began physically putting my hand into the lamp for it to dry. I then obviously snatched my hand away from hers and told her I am fully aware where my hand goes to dry, but I'm unhappy with the design. I left this shop unhappy and rushed out. Unacceptable. You do not treat paying customers this way. Unfortunately I am obviously not the first to experience mistreatment at this establishment. read more

The worse nail salon ever in my 30 years of getting my nails done! I will never go back again! a total rip off. I needed a nail repair and a color change only. i was quoted 13.00. reasonable absolutely! first of all my nail repair was half ass fixed! I had a crack across each side of my nail. The lady super glued it then put acrylic over it. When it was time to pay another lady came up and said 42.00! WHAT???? Now mind you the tech took as long to do a nail repair and color change as long as my friend did getting a fill with 3 repairs. Anyway, I asked 42.00? She stated yes. I said I did not get a refill. y'all are ripping me off. Needless to say....I was pissed almost walked out or they would have had to call the police. So I paid the money and left. I got dip powder done yesterday. Everything was fine except i specifically asked the lady for a narrow shape. She (Thu) gave me "big chunky looking box" nails. I must have asked her about 7 times to file a little bit more on the sides so that it would be a little more narrow and she kept telling me that she wasn't done yet and then at the very end when I was trying to explain to her that I wanted them more narrow than what she had done she told it was the shape of my nails. Not possible since i have tips on with the dip not my real nails. Its also the top of my nails that chunky looking not the base. She rushed me out of the door and said she had another appointment. Totally disregarding the pedicure that I had signed in for as well. I used to come here before and now I remember why I stopped. read more

Clean, fast, and most importantly, beautiful work. I wish I could find a place like this in Pittsburgh. I love love love my pink & white fill! (And I am admittedly very picky about my nails.) The price is a little bit higher than most of the salons in Pittsburgh, but not by much, and the work is fantastic- worth the extra $5 or so. First of all, let me just say this... the first few times I came here, it was pretty good. The ladies that did my gel manicure were very polite and did a great job. However, this past experience is what makes me write this review. My nail tech was a male seated in the center of the salon. He was rude, rough and did a terrible job. He rushed my gel manicure bc he had other customers waiting. I left there with a bleeding cuticle, old nail polish left in the cracks of my nails and bumpy areas in the polish near the cuticle. It was by far the worst manicure EVER! Ladies, there are way too many places in the reynoldsburg/ pickerington area to get our nails done! Don't waste your money or time to receive bad service on the small moments of pampering. We deserve better! read more

The male manager will about saw through your hands while watching YouTube on his phone, you can't leave a tip on the credit card and they get hostile when you don't bring cash for a tip (sorry I never carry cash I've been mugged twice in my life update your system), if you ever refuse the deluxe pedicure they will give you a half ass low quality rushed pedicure from that point on, the quality of the acrylic nails is also poor and they only do solid colors or a pink and white and they never get the acrylic close enough to the cuticle I'm now willing to drive 45 minutes away to a salon that is more expensive but is respectful and provides what I want!! read more
