I went to have a pedicure, the tech cut into my cuticles, it definitely hurt especially when she put some acetone on it. I didn't think too much of it. It hurt for a few days but I guess I shouldn't have been too scared of speaking up because it turned into an infection in my toe. I ended up going to the doctor, getting prescribed antibiotics and another treatment especially since I was spiking a fever. Before heading to the doctor, I messaged the salon letting them know what was going on, requesting a refund. They first stated they could only give me 1/2. However, the cost of the doctor and medication ended up being more than the pedicure so I emailed them back asking for a full refund. I sent them pictures of my doctors note showing my infection, haven't heard from them since. They are really cheap but you get what you get. I don't recommend this salon anymore. I have tried to work it out with the manager of the salon and give them time but still have received no response for my request for a full refund. I know I've been extremely patient and understanding but I no longer think they deserve it. read more

The people were kind and attentive but overall wouldn't recommend. The dip powder manicure I got was mediocre at best and the tech ended up filing off the edges so much that there was a gap between the skin and the mail (see photo). I asked about it and she said it was "okay". The buckets with pedicure equipment could use cleaning and many of the products weren't organized. It isn't the highest quality salon. I won't be back, especially for a $83 service that took over 90 minutes. read more

I made an appointment ahead of time for a spa padi. It's unfortunate appointments are the exact same as a walk-in here so why bother. My appointment was for 6p and there were several people already waiting and they were all helped before I was even though I had scheduled an appointment. The salon itself is acceptable though nothing special. Service was good once it started. There are a lot of colors to choose from and the prices are reasonable for the service. I can't say I won't come back but I certainly will plan to sit and wait no matter if I have an appointment or not. Don't accept appointments if you will not adhere to them. read more

This was our first time trying this place. Long story short - it was overall an acceptable experience but nothing too special. We booked an appointment for a mani pedi a day in advance without issue. They have some coupons on their website you can either print out or just display on your phone. We were taken fairly quickly after arriving. Had the pedicure first. They have pretty comfy massage chairs for this. They have a few different types of pedicures/manicures you can choose from about $35 - $60 depending on how elaborate you want it (extra scrubs, lotions, treatments, etc.). We picked a mid level choice which included a mint soak and a special scrub. They seemed fairly polite but didn't really say what they were doing or applying at each step which would've been a nice touch to ensure we got all the extras we had paid for. Overall it was pleasant, though. Next we moved to the manicure station. Again, it was fairly pleasant though they didn't say exactly what they were doing or applying. We were both males, and one of us asked for just clear coat on his nails but the staff said "no, you don't need that." Hmmm.. ok .. that seemed weird. They are already coming out ahead since males pay the same price as females but don't get any nail polish. The ambiance wasn't particularly spa like. The interior is cluttered and haphazard. They were playing a sporting event on tv. Overall with tip we paid about $140 for two mani/pedi with a $10 off each coupon from their website. Credit cards are accepted, though they have a sign suggesting cash payments which save them money on credit card processing fees. Nobody gave us any issue paying with a card, though. This place was acceptable in general, but we were turned off a bit when the staff refused our rather standard request. I'm not sure if we'd return. More likely we would look around to try other nail places in the area to compare. read more

This nail salon was perfect for what we needed. Made a same day appointment for two full sets of acrylics with gel nail polish, which were $50. A regular full set is $35 and dip is $45. I spent more time there than expected, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars, but they were very clean and friendly. I just needed a gel removal so I figured I would give this place a shot. I would call this your typical Asian salon that isn't all that clean or friendly. My gel removal was done with acetone soaked cotton and plastic clips that go on your figures which looked dusty and used. The tech barely said anything to me the whole time, even when I tried to make conversation. The removal did include a cut down, file, buff, and cuticle oil at least. However, the front and back doors were open and no air conditioning was going even though it was probably almost 80 degrees outside. I also was disturbed when I noticed that the waxing station was just in the corner of the open salon with one curtain that would not even really provide complete privacy. So overall my nails looked fine given it was just a removal and shaping, but I probably wont come here to get any nail service again TBH. read more

Visited Grandview Nail Spa on a rainy Saturday evening. Went in with my partner to get pedicures. We made appointments ahead of time and were the only people in the shop other than 2 ladies finishing up getting their nails done. We were both very pleased with our pedicures, and the technicians made sure to take their time. I opted to also get dip powder on my nails after being asked by one of the technicians. This is when my review goes south. The technician rushed through the whole process, didn't offer a manicure or to even push my cuticles back. The technician very quickly and poorly shaped my nails and then started the dip process. My nails came out uneven, the topcoat was applied poorly so there are rough spots. This place is honestly a gem in Columbus. I did a walk-in and they took me right away. My nail tech, Stephanie, was so sweet and she did my nails exactly as I wanted them: circle shaped with Gel. I had a gift certificate for the exact amount of the manicure, $18. I new there would be tax and I needed to leave a tip so I had to use my card. The manager acted like I slapped her in the face because I did not have any cash. I had to leave a 40% tip just for them to agree to run my card. Overall the manicure was ok. The lady doing my nails didn't talk much and she ditched me as soon as I went to the nail dryers, never even said how long I was supposed to leave them under there. I have been twice. The first time my technician broke skin on two occasions with the drill. I jolted the first time, and he said "you can't move your hands or it'll happen again." Weird. The second time I went I asked for him to file down the nails a little bit when he was about half way through the service to which he responded "you should have said that earlier". The gentleman who I assume is the owner/manager was playing on a gameboy when I walked in and said "how can I help you" without looking up. I really wanted to like this place- it is a short walk from my house and never that busy (although perhaps now I know why...) I actually went here for my wedding nails with my grandmother and sister and it was pretty good (Feb 2020). It is a highly no-nonsense place. If you want a pampering spa-treatment, forget it! Go somewhere else! This is not the place for you! They do not believe in pampering. Although, it wasn't the experience I was truly hoping for, our nails did look nice after and stayed for an appropriate amount of time (I like to do the powder dip). I'm not sure if this place is under new management since then? I was given a gift certificate to use for my first post-Covid visit, so I went back. It was rough and again no-nonsense: just the nails, no hand-soaking or hand massage or oils. Just dip and go. I left with bleeding cuticles. Two weeks later, the nails were already peeling off. So I came back to have them removed and just regular, classic manicure... I was horrified at the service and lack of care. Again, no soaking or even remover- she just pried the nails off with a metal file, buffed them down, painted my nails -over my cuticles, mind you, and then set me under some dryer that didn't work. I left with terrible looking polish that was all messed up. I came straight home and repainted. So that's three visits... pretty sure though, after this last visit I will not be returning. Upon entering the salon i got a rude "uuummmm you can't park there" from what I believe to be the owner. A simple "Please could you move your car that isn't an actual parking spot" would of been just fine. I should of left then. My technician was very pleasant when he wasn't chatting with the same girl previously mentioned through out my service. I'm sorry but I work very heard and once and a while like to treat myself to a peaceful pedicure... The whole time it was their blaring T.V. mixed with conversation amongst the staff about their lives. Again he was very nice though and and its the sole reason I added a star to my review. So on top of the rude behavior particularly from the one girl working there/owner (really she was the only one disrupting my service by asking my technician a bunch of question about his upcoming client and weekend plans) the place was filthy. Do not go here. The nail techs are very rude and try to rush through your manicures and do the bare minimum. The tech I had barely bothered to clean under my nails and put lotion on my hands, in addition to having a tone with me. I have been here a couple times, but I will never be back after my last visit. They don't respect reservations and take walk ins over those who make reservations - I honestly don't even know if they check their online reservation site. Anyway, I went in last week to get a dip removal which they had me sit with my nails in the acetone for over half an hour with super hot water under it, and any time I tried to take my hands out because it was too hot the lady would get angry and yell at me to put them back in. Finally after the acetone, another lady used the drill on my nails to remove the rest of the dip, which was unnecessary since my nails sat for so long. Ultimately she drilled one of my nails so much that she cut my nail with the drill - which I didn't even see her clean the drill before she used it. Once she drew blood she took a piece of paper towel that was already sitting on her table (who knows if it was used before) to clean the blood up, and immediately put alcohol on it and then used the dip on it. By the end of my experience it was 2 hours long and she never even shaped or cut my nails. I had to go back in the next day to get them shaped, and got the same lady that cut me with the drill. When I told her my concerns about the drill, her only response was "okay." She could care less, which basically explains all the workers here. They do not care, are disrespectful, and yell back and forth at one another. My nails look like crap, and hurt days after getting them done. I will never be back and do not suggest anyone getting their nails done here. If I could give zero stars I would. read more
