But the massage felt mainly like glide movements on my back and body and no real pressure. Won't be coming back. I got a 90 minute couples massage with my boyfriend. It was a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go back! Reserving the massage was super easy, check-in was smooth. Each room was named after an element. We were in the fire room. Our technicians were professional. They let us know who would be working on which table and we got to pick which technician we wanted. They asked us if we had any areas of concerned and worked on those for a longer period of time. The 90 minutes was a bit long for my preference, but a 60 minute would be perfect. It's more of a chill, medatative vibe vs. high end luxe which adds to more of a comfortable experience. I had an extra busy work week and was feeling the need for a minute of self care. I get massages from time to time but almost never when on the road. I followed the great reviews and late night hours to make a late evening appointment at Open Sky Day Spa for a sixty minute massage. Upon finding the spa, I have to admit that I was thrown off by the exterior and lack of landscaping/curb appeal on the front side of the building. Luckily, once inside, the space has a more comforting vibe and sense of cleanliness. The woman working the front desk and my therapist were both friendly and professional. The overall experience was positive and I'm grateful for the later hour offerings. My only suggestion would be to make the front entrance as warm and inviting as the interior of the building to better set the tone for the experience and what's being offered. read more

She focused on any area I was having pain due to pregnancy but she was also very gentle and made sure i was comfortable the entire time. We moved about 30 min away from the grandview area but I'm going to have to make the drive back because the massages are great AND affordable. This place puts woodhouse day spa to shame. How has this place been around for 10yrs and I am just NOW discovering it?! Nestled right on Goodale down the road from Lifetime Fitness, the small exterior is definitely deceiving as there are several spa rooms throughout the building...it was almost like a clown car as person after person came into the lobby after their massages and facials, etc. My bestie is getting married Saturday and though you arent suppose to do an actual facial so close to a wedding we decided to book a microcurrent facial session (something I had never heard of but wish I had when I got married!) It's a facial that rejuvenates and stimulates the skins natural collagen production (is how I understand it, I'm no expert though) and so it is as if you received a mini facelift without surgery and the results were noticable right after! I would NEVER post non makeup pics because I always feel like I look old and tired but for the good of the Yelp community I am posting a side by side before and after. I had sent my hubby a non makeup pic earlier today (he knows I never leave the house without at least foundation and mascara) and then after my bestie's reaction when I came out of the spa room I decided to send him a post-microcurrent pic and he noticed the differences too. I always try to say something positive even if I'm leaving a poor review, so I'll start by saying the staff were very friendly. However... Next time I want a massage at this quality I will probably ask my boyfriend to do it. I had pretty high expectations for this place given they had almost five stars. I should have seen the first red flag when they didn't have the relaxation room that all other spas have. I arrived very early for my appointment in hopes of winding down and getting relaxed for my massage. When I checked in, they suggested I wait in my car or go get something to eat while I'm waiting (who wants to eat before a massage?). I live close enough to where I went home and came back. For context, I have major knots in my back which is why I booked a deep tissue massage to begin with. Well, when I was brought back to the room (that happened to look like a dentist's office with a Persian rug), the first words that the masseuse said were, "I will never do a deep tissue massage." ... she suggested I lay face up, and I told her I was actually there for my back (that didn't change her suggestion). I'm glad I paid to have my arms massaged to help with my back pain. She didn't even touch my legs, I was tucked away in some bed sheets. Other things that bothered me were the music she played in the room...not relaxing and actually upbeat. She talked to me while she was massaging, specifically asking about work (the last thing I want to think about when trying to relax). I also wore my clothes for this massage. This whole situation was just plain awkward. I don't recommend it if you're looking for the true relaxing spa experience. I wont be returning. read more

Last minute spa day - Molly was a gem for getting me in for 3 services in one shot for the win! Madison did an amazing job on my swedish massage and facial. Have a recovering ankle injury that she was very attentive to avoiding while still optimizing the rest of the massage. She was amazing. The facial was soothing and relaxing. Appreciate not having to change rooms and being on the massage table for another hour which added to my relaxation. Appropriate covid protocol and appreciate the efforts to keep the relaxation of a spa experience with out the familiars like robes and slippers... good call cuz... covid Pedicure was good. Havent had a manual pedi in forever - appreciated not having an electric buffer further degrade nail enamel but when i got home and checked my heels for smoothness they were still a bit rough for the time I spent in the chair. On the flip first time using "dazzle" nail polish which is quick dry and allegedly wears like gel without the damage. Will see how that holds up. Overall very kind thoughtful, professional and friendly staff that clearly enjoy their work. Would absolutely return. I though the price was incredibly reasonable. Star deducted for slightly dated restroom & no hooks for clothes in the massage room. That may be a covid thing bc perhaps there is a locker room somewhere else that I didnt see but it was a bit annoying to pile my clothes on a bench and get dressed using same bench (seated dress bc of foot injury). im being petty, buuut I am leaving a review so offering all the deets. read more

I got a massage and a facial. I walked out of the massage feeling like my knots had not been worked at all. The facial was horrible, she was so rough and did not explain anything she was doing. It was hardly relaxing, and then the "massage" part of the facial on my arms was painful! I have bruises now, and it was the same motion over and over and it just didn't stop. I must admit- I'm kind of bummed with leaving a 2 star review. I had high hopes of this place after hearing about it from a coworker and also reading many of the reviews on here. I was looking for a place to get a massage after I ran the NYC Marathon last month. I had a super tight IT band going into the race and obviously running 26.2 miles didn't help it. I normally go to Woodhouse in Dublin, but that's more of a "treat yourself" kind of place. I just wanted a deep tissue massage to work out all the kinks. I heard about this place from a coworker and they were close to my apt and they also had a $65 Tuesday special. Score! I was pleased when I walked in on a cold Tuesday night. The reception area was very calm and peaceful. It got me excited for the massage! I was quickly called back and I made the mistake of telling my masseuse that I don't actually like deep tissue massages, but felt I needed one after the race. I say it was a mistake because he didn't end up going deep AT ALL! I would say his pressure was on the light side even for a Swedish Massage, let alone a deep tissue. I was also disappointed because I told him about the IT band and he referenced he'd work on it, but didn't do anything out of the ordinary compared to any other massage I've had. One thing that made this one of the worst massages ever is that this room was FREEZING!!! Like even the masseuse was wearing a heavy wool sweater. The first 15 mins or so I was okay, but as I laid there, I felt like I was turning into an icicle. I really contemplated speaking up, but since I couldn't spot a thermostat, I didn't really know what my masseuse could do. I only noticed after I got done that there were 2 space heaters in this room. Which signifies to me that they know this room has terrible heating. Neither of the heaters were on and it was less than 20 degrees outside, so you can imagine how cold it got while I laid there. Again, in hindsight, I wish I would have said something. But at the end of the day, this guy was giving me a massage...I know I had goosebumps all over so he had to have known how damn cold I was!! Also, the walls are super thin here. I didn't like how at the front there is a sign asking you to be quiet, but when I was getting my massage, the client & masseuse next door were laughing it up and being loud. I though that was kind of obnoxious. Overall, I really didn't like this place and won't be going back. I had the opportunity to speak up about the pressure and the cold temp, so I will own that. But there are MUCH better places in Cbus. I would rather pay more money and have an enjoyable experience than come here again. read more

This is a great spa. I have been getting massages at this spa 1x/month for the past 3 years and the quality has been high and fairly consistent. It took a few visits to find a massage therapist I like, but it has been worth it. I drive 45+ minutes to go to this spa because the service is better than my local place. Massages - generally excellent. Booking - most efficient through email. You can do it directly with reception, but sometimes there is quite a line and it's more time efficient to email or call usually Front desk - usually good. This is where they lose some points. Occasionally the reception desk will be poorly staffed. For example, once there was a receptionist who made comments out loud about how people were tipping (yikes). But that has been the exception to the rule, it's usually pretty good. Customer service - generally excellent. If there's an issue, they try to make it right and genuinely seem to care.
