I have been going to Modality for a little over a year now seeing primarily Jenn, the owner. I…read morestarted going for massages due to severe back issues most likely due to a poor desk setup when I started working from home. I'd been experiencing pain for about six months before finally making an appointment so didn't expect all of the damage I'd done to be erased in one visit. Jenn asked a lot of questions and got to work. At first I saw Jenn every few weeks. She has used a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping, medi-cupping and has also used a variety of CBD lotions dependent on my pain levels. I really appreciate not only Jenn's abilities as a talented massage therapist, I have also gained so much knowledge from her on other holistic approaches to my healing: stretches and herbal remedies being only a few. Every appointment starts with a discussion about any issues I've had....and lots of times I just tell her to find the areas that seem tight...it really is amazing how she can find the spots to make other parts of my body feel better! Jenn is incredibly dedicated to her business and clients and I appreciate that she is willing to go above and beyond when we discuss issues I experience and how I can supplement my massages. Although I haven't taken advantage of some of the other offerings at Modality, I think that her addition of other treatment methods shows her dedication to providing options for anyone. While I only see Jenn about once a month now, making that first appointment really was one of the best choices I made for myself in a very long time not only physically but mentally as well. The space she set up is beautiful, clean and very calming and I would encourage anyone to make an appointment. As a side note, besides being really great at what she does, it is always a delight to see Jenn and I love her energy and attitude!

Jenn is an expert in her field. She is very good and understanding my goals for each session…read more Highly recommend.

He was super nervous and has been putting it off for years. After seeing reviews on Yelp, I picked this place for him and I'm glad I did. He said that the offices were clean and well kept and the registration process was quick and easy. All the staff were really friendly and the room that he was in was like really calming. Dr. Lawyer was playing lo-fi music in the background which was really nice. He said that the room didn't look or feel sterile and medical like he expected. It was like his actual "office" with like wood and a super nice desk and it just made him feel calm. Overall great experience and he is now a regular client. And now, it's my turn to make an appointment!!!

SCAM...this has to be a scam!!!! Always trust reviews, I…read morewent against my better judgment even after reading them. My brother bought massages on Groupon for my mother and I, 6pm appointment and Google Maps warned me it would be closed by that time but we already had the appointment so we went anyway. Front door was locked, no signage for the company on any of the floors a lady that worked there had never heard of this spa. My mother then received a text from my brother about how our appointment had been canceled. So all roads point to scam with this situation. Hopefully he can get his money back because this is bullshit.

I typically don't write reviews, especially poor ones but I felt like people who may book in the…read morefuture deserved to know. I booked using Groupon and all the great reviews on Google are what sold me and I was really excited for my massage but it all ended up being a big waste of my time. I tried so hard to give the small business the benefit of the doubt but I got cancelled on 3 times before I finally just asked for a refund. The first cancellation she said she had strep throat, which happens, I get it. The second time she *tried* to move my appointment because her son was starting school and she was changing her hours? But she only told me the day before and she changed her mind last minute and let me keep my appointment time. The last cancellation was 35 minutes before my appointment and I was already on my way. She texted and told me she was 2 hours away stuck in traffic? The whole situation was just dealt with in a very unprofessional manner unfortunately. And I still didn't get a massage at the end of it! :( The website is also very confusing to navigate. I called the number under Groupon and it said it was disconnected and so texting was the only method of communication we had. And to set an appointment, I had to make a $25 deposit, even though I already paid under Groupon, which I thought was weird. The whole experience was really frustrating and hopefully this review will help others to not waste their time too.
