I called in advance to make an appointment and walked in 10 minutes before my appointment time. When I stepped inside the business, there was no one at the reception desk there, while two Asian women were sitting on the couch, staring at me curiously without saying a word as if they were completely surprised by my presence. No "Hello", "May I help you?"...nothing. When I told them I was the one with the 2:30 appointment, they looked at me as if they had no clue of what I said leaving me feel quite uncomfortable and awkward. They also barely speak English. I could have left then and there but really wanted some massage so I stayed and told them the duration I wanted the massage for, and was told that I had to pay in advance. An advance full payment for massage? Is this a normal practice? Anyway, when I tried to pay with my credit card, I was told to pay in cash because the credit card device was malfunctioning. I finally got fed up and left for another spa nearby (which I really liked). I will never come back to this spa ever again. Unprofessional, ignorant of customer service, worst spa ever.

I've had both Reiki and Reflexology services with Paula and all I can say is wow - you need this in your life. Reiki is energy work for healing/ balance and Reflexology is part physical work/foot massage and part energy work. Reiki gave me incredible mental clarity, peace of mind, effortless concentration and focus, creativity out the wazoo plus an immense feeling of physical and emotional wellness and well-being. Reflexology seemed to diminish my allergy symptoms, made my feet and whole physical self feel terrific, plus continued some of the energy freeing/unblocking that Paula had started in Reiki. These two services seemed to work well in tandem (I had them one week apart). If you are looking for a new experience, to "unblock" your energy or get better balance in your life, or improve your physical or emotional/spiritual wellness, give Paula a try! She is warm, professional and an absolute gem to work with - and if you tell her what you are looking for, she will recommend the perfect services. So thankful for these encounters. So I got the Groupon having not had a massage for TOO long and thinking this was a good deal. I…read moreimagine most people find the spa this way as IT'S IN A FOOD COURT IN A MALL! I had not done my homework and was following GPS - knowing the general are it was in having worked at Sterling Commerce many moons ago. Fortunately, I figured out quickly it was IN the mall. So I parked and went in to find a mall map. Sure enough - there it was between 2 restaurants in the food court. BUT most importantly I got there right on time. The Groupon is a little deceiving in you don't get the full body (lay down on a table) massage with it. But for $10 more - you do. TOTALLY WORTH IT and glad I opted for it. I'm still not clear as to how undressed you are supposed to get. You have privacy curtains around the table - but I'm used to stripping down to underwear. Not the case here. I had a tank top and sweats which was just fine. Next time I'll wear bike shorts and a tank top again. You lay down on the table like a normal massage - starting face down. In this COVID day, there was a napkin like thing on top of a pillow which made it rather hard to breath. But beyond that - it was AMAZING. The massage mostly happens on top of the thin blanket/sheet on top of you. So very appropriate and proper touching. However - it was deep tissue with lots of elbow grease put into it at all the right times and places. Sam was my masseuse and I will ONLY return if he is available to do my massage again. WARNING - English is not common and there might be a little language barrier going on - but Sam did check in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and the amount of pressure he used was good. For more important questions, he would call in a life line - the lady at the front desk - to translate. The time went slow but it also went fast. The only things missing were nice soft music and essential oil or incense burning. With this, I would not have known it was a food court spa. The environment overall was reminiscent of Urban Acupuncture - where pricing is reduced for affordable services to be provided, but not all the bells and whistles of a full price, private spa. I LOVE acupuncture and I LOVE THIS PLACE. The question here is not if I'll return - but how soon it will be. I can confidently answer that - it will be this or next week at the latest. I checked in on Yelp while there and an offer popped up that I'll save and use this time. Even without gimmicks or deals, it's a steal. And I think the gimmicks are just teasers to get you in the door - you end up paying the same price regardless - you just feel better about it. LOL! Ask for Sam - but not on the day and time I want him available for me!
