I have been here a few times and they've done a good job, but today they lost me as a customer. The technician used the drill bit on my natural nails- fingers and toes. I've never had gel, dip, or acrylic. I had regular polish on my nails going in to my appointment, and requested regular polish at this visit as well. I should have asked him to stop using the drill at the time, I was just trusting the process. The polish finish was bumpy and rough. I mentioned this at the time, and the explanation was the glitter in the polish as the cause. I took the polish off when I got home because it was bothering me, and my bare nails look damaged. (See photos) I also never received a hand message or hand lotion or anything of that nature for my manicure. I used to love going to Vo's. They are usually a great salon. Came back for a GelX and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and super friendly. It's the first salon I've gone to where most- if not all the techs are willing to try nail art. While my nail tech hadn't tried it before and was a bit hesitant to "experiment" in fears of messing it up, she and her mentor did great. They made sure to check in frequently to make sure this was what I was aiming for. I'm in love. It really is unfortunate it's so far away from the city, but every time makes me want to come back again. read more

I've gone here since august 2022 and I've had nothing but good experiences except recently, I went in to get an acrylic balance and I had 2 broken nails that needed tips. not only did the man not add tips to my elongate my broken nails to match my length he laughed at me and told me that I should've asked for tips then proceeded to make me feel bad that I broke my nails. i had my nails for 3 weeks and now my entire acrylic nail fell off and left my real nail covered in an fungal infection meaning he didn't even apply the acrylic correctly. be cautious, I would not recommend. read more

I told the man I wanted dip nails but he spent half of my pedicure telling me gel was better and that we would be doing gel instead (he did not ask me if this was ok). They chipped three days later! Visiting town for a wedding and a local batista referred me. I'm so glad!! This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in. The people were friendly and took me right away, as a walk-in. The lighting is soft for customers with bright light for the techs. Comfortable chairs. The tech took great care with my toes and fingers. PROS: The place is nice and clean. The pedicure was well-done, relaxing and luxurious. CONS: Extremely expensive! A regular pedicure with gel polish and a manicure with nail extensions/ dip polish. Cost $225 with 20% tip. The results did NOT match the price. The technician put some of my nail tips on crooked. I pointed it out and she didn't redo them, so I ended up with crooked nails. Plus, the nails were very thick and clearly fake. I had never gotten nail tips before and I was very unhappy with the result. The music is all Christian music. She even took the time to consult with me on each step to see what I preferred. She made sure I was happy with the amount of pink to white in the ombré and really listened to me about my preferences! This salons location does mean it tends to be busy so I would recommend having an appointment for your services here! I am following up my visit with a review. With my own personal past experience in nail salons this one came highly recommended for my daughter and figured she could be my Guinea pig lol (see past reviews) I took my 8th grader here last week to have her nails done. I was going to leave her while I ran some errands and happen to ask the gentleman (maybe the owner) running the register what the cost of her set would be, he asked what she was wanting - acrylic with gel - he said they offer a student price and quoted me $53. Hour later I came back to pick her up, she showed me her nails, her thumbnail was a little wavy but did not have time to redo, her technician rang us up and said the total was $66. I did let him know before I left we were quoted $53. Then another what seemed like a boss lady came over quickly to see what was going on. She said no $63 the $66 is with tax. I had to be firm and pointed to the gentleman who quoted me and told her he had said we would receive a student discount and it would be $53 (mind you I had no clue they even offered a student discount until first gentleman offered it). I also pulled up my daughters hand and showed her the wavy thumb (imagine my teenagers eyes rolling in the back of her head) the woman said fine this time I will give it to you for $53 but she got almond shape that's why it's $63. Her nails are not allowed to be super long and they are more round than almond shaped, barely past the tips of her fingers, so it's not like they even needed tips, so I'm not sure if she was just trying to feed me a bunch of bologna or what but not happy about how confrontational she got with me in front of my children. It never changed my tip and still tipped well the technician had nothing to do with the bait and switch The Who seemed like owners were doing to me. Fyi they do offer student discounts!! The nail tech that did my nails was very nice and she did a good job on the color. However I asked if they did chrome and she was hesitant, they do but she's never done it. Which is fine, everyone has to learn. But the guy there, Kevin, who she tried to ask for help from was more worried about talking to someone on his phone than helping her or the woman at the front or anyone else really. Really disappointed with how it turned out. His salon could be a nice place but the staff needs some more training and manners. The nail tech told me and charged me $5 extra to change the shape of my nails and told me that it would be $5 extra to trim my cuticle. Mindy does a great job with dip. She polishes with a buffer, rather than a top coat, which makes the finish super shiny and last a lot longer. I wash my hands a lot for work, and have never had a manicure as long as hers. Also this salon is very clean and everyone is professional. Highly recommend. read more

I called to make an appointment for my mom and I to get gel manicures and pedicures because I saw a 20% off coupon. The gentleman on the phone told me that was the special and that I didn't need to bring a print out. We showed up to our appointment and told me I couldn't get 20% off since I didn't have the coupon then proceeded to tell me they would honor the coupon expired next time. Sure enough the next day I see a Facebook ad from their Facebook page that all services are 20% off. I was very excited to check this salon out as my friend had recommended it and it was new clean and had a ton of colors. I called ahead to make sure I could get in for a mani pedi and they said yes and set an appt for 6 I show up at 6 and pick my color and within a few mins I was told to go back to the pedicure chairs. I sat with my feet soaking for 1 hour. No one said anything to me or acted like they were even close to helping me. There were 2 people waiting when I got there, so I could understand if you are busy. But I did call ahead and they told me to come at that time. I gave this place a fair chance. I went in to get a gel manicure where I had a very nice technician who assured me that she was the best and that my nails would last for weeks like I am used to from other salons and if they didn't, I would get a refund. Sadly, they lasted 3 days. I went back in to get the nail fixed that the gel had peeled off and to show them how my purple/grey nails were turning yellow. The technician that did them and guy were arguing in front of me in another language, which I found to be unprofessional. Even worse, they told me that my nail broke and that's why the gel peeled and it was my fault. Ok that's not what happened my polish started lifting the night before and peeled the next day and then my nail broke. They also told me that my nails turning yellow was my own fault because of a chemical products (I have never had this happen and have not changed any of my products). They fixed the nail and painted over the discolored polish, but did not refund as promised. Today I decided to give them another chance. I decided to give the same technician my business and requested her when I came in. The same technician did my nails and was very rude and rushed my service. She barely touched 4 of my nails when pushing back my cuticles and was aggressive when cleaning out underneath my nails where I thought I was going to bleed. Then, when I went to wash my hands she told me that my hands were still wet and it wasn't her fault if the polish didn't stick. My nails were not even wet and I have never had my nails done where they don't wipe them off 50 times before applying the gel polish anyway! After that she smartly said "yeah they're not wet huh".Additiona This place is not worth their overpriced services and unprofessional staff. read more
