Been coming to Beautiful Nails for maybe 10yrs-ish. The owners are wonderful. Never had a bad experience. If something is going on you don't like just let them know. Once maybe a tech was digging a bit deep and I told her that and she apologized and went lighter. No harm no foul. The owners know when I feel like talking and know when I feel like being quiet and respect that. Have always had a great experience. I usually schedule my appts ahead and maybe wait a few minutes when I arrive. Don't plan to leave them anytime soon! read more

I've been going to Beautiful Nails for almost a year now. I refuse to go anywhere else in Columbus. Everyone that's works here is so amazing. They take their time and make sure that you are happy with your manicure or pedicure. I highly recommend their signature pedicure. It's about $45, but it is worth it! The clay mask and the periffin is so relaxing. I don't get it every week, more like once a month or once in a while. My mom has been coming here for such a long time but she never told me about the prices. I thought they would be reasonable because it's just a regular nail salon. Nope, I was wrong they start the pedicure's from $30 and up, which is total bullocks. So not only did I not like the price of the service when the girl started doing the service she made the water extremely hot for my feet to bare. In addition to the high heat I ask her to cut my nails but then she decides to dig into them like the last place I went where I mentioned they treated my skin so rough it started bleeding when they were working around the nails. Same thing happened here. Lets just say, I'm not having any luck with nail salons lately. I'm starting to think I should just do my own nails and not pay them for the service since I can't handle people that are rough with my skin. My husband even admitted I do a better job than some of these girls in the nail salons that have been doing my nails. Looks like I'll have to avoid the nail salons for a while. This has been my spot for the past year & a half. BUT the past 2 times I've been in, staff was rude & service was horrible. They have new staff, young & inexperienced. Owner is nice but has her toddler aimlessly walking around the salon playing with loud toys so there is no relaxing. If that's what you are looking for, this is not your place. Last Sunday, the tech doing my pedi did not perform the correct service then lied to me about it. Another staff member came over when she heard us talking & was RUDE! I have never been treated so badly at a salon. Also, their prices are much higher than they used to be. I paid $65 for a standard pedi with gel polish. Anytime I asked for something that the nail tech Tim didn't like I was told if I do your way Don't come back to me. I didn't want my natural nails cut even thought they were very short, I got his line and he cut them down to the quick. I asked for oval/rounded nails and got 10 different shapes and all different lengths. There was no consistency between each nail, it was as if a different person did each one. I begged him not to put pink an my nails, but he ignored me and did it anyway. When I got home I had to spend an hour removing acrylic from my fingers, reshaping all my nails and trying to detach the acrylic from my cuticles. Many of the reviews I had thought were good I discovered were actually posted by staff members. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I have been to Beautiful Nails Salon twice and they are turning me into someone who gets their nails done more consistently! Every time I've come here the technicians have taken their time to prep, shape, paint my nails. The technician last check in and make sure I'm happy with the shape and the finish. They truly make sure their clients are satisfied before they walk out the door! Their customer service is impeccable and they don't do anything super special side from having kind, thoughtful, hard working employees. Both times I have gone here I made and appointment. The first time I was there for 2 hours because they were short staffed because someone went home sick. I waited to be seated for an hour. Somewhat understandable considering I went with a friend and let her go first. The second time I sat waiting for 30 before I was seated. Both times the quality of my pedicures were not very good. Just really disappointing. The prices are pretty inexpensive though. So I guess you get what you pay for. I highly doubt I will go back or recommend it to others. All the other nail salons only lasts for 2 weeks before the polish starts to peel. I asked for a pedicure and just got a polish change. I did inquire about what was happening, if it was standard that they started with filing and cutting toenails prior to drawing water, and the tech responded, "oh, you wanted pedicure? We're just doing polish change." I wrote down pedicure and verbally confirmed that's what I wanted when I walked in, but oh well. I had a horrible experience. What felt like a great pedicure a few days later turned into a fungus on my feet. My manicure, acrylic & gel, was terrible! She left thick acrylic under my nails and cut me 3times. One cut became infected. When I paid, she up charged me for a product I never asked for. This salon changed ownership about a year ago (I want to say early 2014?), and the staff is so friendly. I typically have my nails done by Janet, but they are all very kind and willing to go the extra mile. I once watched a nail tech spend 10-15 minutes helping an overwhelmed customer find the perfect polish color to match the dress she was wearing to her 35th high school reunion. I have been going to this salon for years and usually have a very good experience. Today however, I had a bad one. My technician seemed rushed and I was not thrilled with the job. He Left polish on the bottom of my fingers, barely cleaned under my nails, and there was no massage after when I paid for a full manicure. I even have spots on my nails where there is polish missing. I was surprised as normally have a very good experience, and in fact have recommended several coworkers who have all gone now and loved it. She said the next one is covered and we made an appt. I come in for said appt and she said i should have came in sooner and wouldn't cover it. This place is great! Christy really goes above and beyond to make sure you get a great manicure. The pedicure chairs are also super comfortable with the great massage features. They have a great deal going on now with Shellac special! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! I won't be going back, was my first time there but my last. The tech that did me acted like i was totally putting him out even being there, i shouldn't have even tipped him but it's just me i can't not tip, altho i would have tipped much more had the service been better. I don't know his name, he was a younger male, tat up the left arm. Again, he yawned and was just very rude as a person in general, customer service goes a long way and there are nail shops on every corner these days, you need to be something special to keep customers coming back. I was like wow, really, is this guy for real?? Once i got home my heels and sides of toes aren't even smooth, lousy job, lousy attitude.
