I will never go back to this place. The first time I went the nail tech was very kind and professional, she did a decent job on my nails but they were to thick. The second time I went in for a balance I did not get the same nail tech. This nail tech had the audacity to call me back to her station. Start my nails and a few minutes later left me sitting for 20 minutes. She did this because her previous client who had left came back in because she messed up her nails that had just been done NOT MY FAULT. The nail tech took her and left me sitting there for 20 minutes. I was furious if I would have left but already had my nails filed down She did a terrible job and them looked at me and told me she didn't have time to do the backside of my nails so they looked beyond terrible. She did not manicure the nails underneath and now they have all lifted and the nails are all falling off after a new set was put on the time before AND the polish started coming off in 5 days - total rip off don't ever go to this place. i've been going to CK for a while just because i have never done enough research to find another nail salon, but time and time again my nails have never done well after a week. everyone at the salon is so nice and good at holding conversation, but no matter what artists i have my nails always end up breaking or the polish will chip. i have acrylics, and to get them filled is costly compared to what some of my friends pay. the shape is always bulky and crooked. i got a set done with regular polish, and that lasted longer both of my gel sets. the first set i had put on, the drill burnt almost all of my cuticles, and the polly gel got on the underside of my nail and burnt my skin. i've tried it a total of five times this year, and in 2019 i went once a month to get my nails filled. not once have i been completely satisfied with how my nails have turned out. read more

This place is extremely close to home. I've been 3 times so far! 3 different nail techs did my dip nails. One reason for not giving 5 stars is I notice when it comes to sanitizing things they're a little slacking. Like between the nail customers. Your sitting in other folks nail dust on chairs & tables. But each time I've been my nails were on point!! I found my nail shop!!! Update, since the last time I went right before my vacation I got Ray! Sorry but he's ruined it! I swung through C K Nail prior to going out of town one weekend. I was amazed by the amount of space that they have inside - the inside is very spacious. There were a lot of people inside when I arrived. It seems that most people schedule appointments when coming to C K Nail as almost everyone that I saw come through the door had noted that they had an appointment. I, on the other hand, did not have an appointment and had to wait thirty minutes before being called back. I was serviced by Jason - who mentioned to me that he was new. He did an amazing job! He was fun to talk to and did a phenomenal job on my ombre set. He was very patient and peculiar while doing my nails. They looked so great and I got many compliments on them. The only downside here are the prices. It seems like this is mentioned in many of the reviews here on Yelp. I paid $75 (without tip) for my ombre set. I think that $90 for a set (with tip) is a little pricey; however, I did appreciate the time and effort that Jason used when working on my ombre nails. Thank you! read more

The person who has done my nail once before goes so fast it feels like they cannot wait for you to get out of the chair, I've been cut on both occasions with by how excessively agitated and careless she is. She aggressively handles your hands repeatedly demanding you to relax....this is a little challenging to do when they have not created an environment for relaxation. She repeatedly stated she has been doing this for over 20 years, that very well may be the case but for someone who has been working for 20 years I am shocked that she hasn't learned better customer service skills. I was not satisfied with the shape of my nails and was made to feel like what I saw wasn't true when I said they were crooked. I finally gave up and accepted the mediocre shape. I have gotten my nails done at various places over the years but she ended my appointment by saying she could tell I don't get my nails done often, which was very condescending and rude. I am not going to say that the nails themselves look horrible, but it is not done with any care, nor attention to detail. The price simply does not correlate to the experience nor workmanship. Went to CK Nails for the first time in many years with my sister the other day. It seemed like a nice place, and was very busy, so I thought - wow people must love this place. We both got pedicures. The nail tech doing mine went extremely fast, and didn't even put one a base coat! She finished up and I thought maybe this is just how they do it here. I looked over to my sister and her nail tech was taking his sweet time, being very through, AND used a base coat! ( props to him because he was doing what he was supposed to!) I had to stop coming to this location several months ago. When I first started coming a couple of years ago I thought it was a nice place. I started with just receiving gel polish on my nails. I have been looking for a long term nail salon and this is not the place. First, the salon is not clean. There is a large piece of plywood and unfinished drywall as well as what looks like smoke or dirt on the wall where something used to hang. I am not sure if I happened to go during a renovation or not. However, I did see several jars with tools placed in them to be sanitized. The entire time I was in the nail salon everyone was so rude. My nail tech was extremely rough and would push a finger or hand away when she was done and grab the next one. I took note of it and offered to move closer but she continued. Then when they asked me what color I wanted I requested two so I could compare. I have been having my nails done for years and no salon has ever had a problem with this. The woman asked a man to get the two numbers and all of the techs laughed. Then the man answered her and made a comment about an accent nail. Also, a man walked in for a manicure and they were clearly talking about him as well. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. As far as my nails, they look ok. There is gel in my cuticles where it was not cleaned up around the edges enough. I don't choose a place for price, relaxing, etc I just want my nails to look nice and not feel unwanted. Also, the desk says no refunds and all services final, which is very telling me on the type of customer service you receive here. I will not be returning. read more

I've been to this place several times along with my mom and my sister we tend to all go together. It's probably on of the better salons in the area.. but it seems like their prices have sky rocketed. I went tonight with my mom and sister. My nails were short/ medium coffin shaped with basic polish.. the girl was hardcore pressuring me about gel and I was very adamant about not wanting it and she finally backed off. Other than that she did amazing. I get a different tech every time and they all do a pretty good job. She was a little rough with the filing and buffing and my nails still hurt but I can manage. I originally picked a color and she got through the first coat on my nails and she asked if I liked it and I quickly said no because it was way to close to my skin tone, I apologized because she had just got through the first coat on all my nails and she said it was no issue because she didn't want me to be unhappy since I was paying for it. She picked me out a different neutral polish which looked awesome on them! But I go to the dryer after being finished and we were talking about the different between our nails and prices. My were the same length but different shaped and there was a 20 dollar difference! My sister got a gel mani and hers were 30 dollars more than my moms and 10 more than mine and it was all because she got one nail with sparkle gel?!? Honestly I understand Covid might've impacted them but 20-30 dollar difference for shape. I don't really think they have a set price because literally every single tech charges differently especially with pedicures. Me and my sister have at almost a 20 dollar price difference before because of how calloused my feet were. I worked 60-70 work weeks as an EMT on my feet all day. I've finally found a great place to get my nails done! I went in with coffin shaped, gel manicures acrylics that were too bulky and scratched up after only a little over a week. She even saved me from getting the shape change, advising me that oval wouldn't look as good on my hands as the coffin shape did and that she didn't want me paying extra for a shape I wouldn't like (I was really grateful for that!)Without having to tell the woman much she quickly removed the color, and buffed them down so I now have the more natural look I wanted from the beginning. My mother and I came in due to this establishment accepting walk-in's. As soon as we get in we are greeted by a woman doing someone's nails asking what we wanted. We asked if they were able to do our pedicures, since we were walk-in's, and if I could get a balance. The woman said that they could take us now, had us sign-in and then walked away. My mother and I sign-in as instructed, and are just left there looking stupid. We began looking at polished, then after waiting for over 5 mins, are told to go to the bowls. After receiving our pedicures, I went to the chair to pick out my color to receive my balance. I told the woman that I wanted gel with my balance, and asked if she had chrome polish. She gets up to get the display, the nail tech sitting next to her station looks at me, then says something to her, and they both start to laugh. She brings me over two huge displays, to point out only 3 polishes that they have. At this point I am just really uncomfortable. I told her that I didn't like the colors that they have and I'll just stick to the gel polish. She gets up to move the two huge displays, and the woman says something again. At this point I'm just over the snide remarks. I tell the woman that I will go somewhere else to get my nails done. I get up and go to the dryer to let my feet dry. While waiting, for my nails to dry my mother gets up to use the bathroom and smudges her polish. The woman who did her feet fixed her polish and just left her sitting at the dryer. 20 mins later, I go over to check on my mother to see if her nails are dry, to my surprise the woman did not provided a top coat, nor did they fix all of the toes she smudge. I'm pissed at this point, I go to pay for our feet, while checking out I tell the woman who greeted us that I was dissatisfied with our service and why. The only thing she said was that the woman that did my mothers feet probably just wanted her feet to dry before adding a top coat for fixing her other toe, and that she would fix her feet. She didn't even apologize for the crappy service we received, then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip. I told her absolutely not, and I work hard for my money, and I don't tip anyone to treat me like crap. Long story short, I will not be coming back. I came here to try a new nail place a couple months ago, i did make an appointment and got sat in a chair about 10 minutes later. I needed a balance with gel polish done and the woman who did my nails was done in about 20 minutes. I was surprised that she was that fast but they looked good so i did not complain. 2 days later my gel polish began to PEEL. So I called in and asked if i could make an appointment to get my nails fixed, the woman said " UGH, we are really busy right now, can't you just walk in?" I said "Since you are really busy, I did not want to take the chance of not being seen, I just need them repolished". She told me that she will TRY to get them done but there are no promises. What a terrible way to run your company.. I then just ended up going to a different nail salon and was told " oh, the reason your gel peeled off is because they didn't use a base coat to make your nails appear thinner" So, not only was CK nails rude but they also sabotaged the quality of my gel balance which now seemed to be intentional.
