ZMANA is amazing! I love having keyless doors. No more searching for my keys. If I go out for a run I don't have to carry my keys with me. I can create codes for friends, babysitters, my house keeper etc. This way I know who is coming in and out of my house if I can't be there. It is user friendly even for my young kids! Really impressed with the responsiveness and service-mindedness of this company for the alarm install for my parents house. Kevin has been absolutely wonderful to work with in helping us figure out what we really needed for our system. Even though there were some glitches with the install, Kevin was able to walk us through the system afterwards, noted all of the follow up items that needed to be addressed, and came up with a plan on how to address. The system itself is ridiculously easy to access and to set statuses and I love the live camera feeds that we can pull up on our phones. Our new DR Horton home came with a few ZMANA features already installed like a Skybell doorbell camera, myQ garage opener, a phone app we could use, and a touch screen interface to tie everything together. After we had Wi-Fi installed, I called ZMANA to schedule an appointment to set up all the features our home came with. Quickly they were able to work with my husband and I's schedule and scheduled a time we would be home. The presentation and demo of all the features we had was seamless and done by Isaac and Kevin. My husband and I prepped ourselves ahead of time by downloading the app on our phone (Alarm.com) which saved us and them about 30 minutes. Isaac and Kevin were really quick to get started on connecting our doorbell and garage to the app and our touch scree interface. They were also very thorough in explaining how everything works and if you're pretty tech savvy, it pretty much gives you that extra piece of mind. For example, forgetting to lock your front door when you're already around the corner from the house. From their app, you can just lock it instead of driving all the way back. Also, do your research ahead of time. You don't know how many times we've had friends and family tell us they'll just go with a self-install system. That's fine, BUT there are some features with a self-install that does not beat having an actual security company install professional security at your home. You can also tell a good company by 1) how well they answer their phone or emails and 2) how well their website is designed (ease of use, information available, etc). ZMANA did very well when I called in to schedule my appointment and even when I called for a few questions. I also did my research and compared them to other local companies. Not only was their website clean and easy to use, they had comparable rates and good reviews to other competitors. (I worked as an Operations Manager so I used to contract different alarm companies for the previous businesses I've worked for. I know what companies I did not like and what I liked.) In short, at the end of our appointment Kevin and Isaac gave us absolutely NO pressure to add our to our system or even use them as our home security. They explained to us what they offered, but we felt no pressure at all (which my husband greatly appreciated). Since we did our research ahead of time we opted to add a few security items and to sign a contract with them as our home security company. Kevin and Isaac were not only professional, but honest. If you know me, I absolutely HATE wasting my time. They made everything seamless and I am glad we chose them. read more

Derek came to my house to connect all of the smart home devices that came with my new home on 7/1, a Friday. I inquired about the security upgrades and installing a second smart lock. He told me that he was going to be back in the office the following Tuesday (7/5) so he could email me a quote. Because they are a small company and they are probably understaffed for the volume of business they are getting, Derek took longer than he told me. He didn't email me a quote until 7/11. My quote had a bronze smart lock on it even though all the existing hardware is black. I asked him if it would be the same color because I was pretty certain my locks weren't bronze. He insisted that everything would match so I proceeded to sign their Docusign and accept the quote. Carly, their office manager, has been very responsive to all of my questions and helpful with scheduling. She's been very easy to get in touch with and handles herself professionally in email and over the phone. Two days prior to my install, I texted Derek a picture of my existing lock upon him asking. Matt came to install everything and was very easy to talk to. He was quick and kept the work area clean. After he left, I checked the smart lock and of course, it was bronze and did not match my existing door handle nor the other smart lock that I already had. I emailed Derek right away and Carly followed up immediately. Kevin, the owner, and Matt came back later that day to swap the smart lock. Their speediness in correcting the issue was greatly appreciated (even though it shouldn't have been an issue to begin with because of my numerous correspondence with Derek in discussing the color of the lock). Prices are reasonable for the security, and some of their employees have been great to work with thus far. If it weren't for the communication mishaps and delays, I'd easily give Zmana 5 stars. read more

After catching someone at our fence and looking into the back bedroom lanai it was time to review our security system. For years we've used a local security alarm company who has been less than stellar with their services. The last time they called us for an alleged break-in it was the batteries in the sensors they couldn't seem to maintain. My son was talking to another business owner about our home security and was told us about ZMANA. He made an appointment for Kevin to come by and talk to us about what we wanted, what we needed and what they could do to resolve our issues. Six doors needed coverage, two car ports, three lanais. Movng forward several days, two installer arrive at 9:00 and start installing cameras, locks and a new doorbell system. Very professional men, very polite and great at sharing exactly what they were doing. Cameras adjusted, bells and whistles installed, training completed and we're happy customers. We have been using our phones and iPads to lock and unlock doors, monitor the outside entrances and lanais and talk to anyone approaching the doors. Matt came in last Friday to set up the alarms on all our doors and windows in our house, as well as our smart fire alarm. Honestly, nicest guy and worked so quick and efficiently! When he was done, he explained everything to us, broke down the whole system for us, and he did all of this in under 2 hours! I almost forgot he also installed an additional smart doorbell we asked for. Matt checked, and double checked to make sure our house was secured and all alarms and doorbells were working.
