Emmett was extremely responsive and helpful. His work is extremely clean and effortless. The whole process was just made so easily with his communication and execution. I highly recommend him for any of your mounting needs!
I highly recommend Mr. McShane for any TV and soundbar mounting needs. Scheduling was simple and hassle-free, and the entire installation process was smooth and professional. As a small business owner with over 8 years of experience and countless mounting projects under his belt, Mr. McShane came fully prepared with all the right tools and equipment. He not only completed the job efficiently but also provided expert advice on the ideal placement of the TV, proper height and distance from the seating area, and optimal angles for the sound system to maximize sound quality. His attention to detail made all the difference. I had consulted with a few other services, but quickly realized they lacked Mr. McShane's level of expertise. Some even suggested using improper mounting anchors and offered suspiciously low prices, which concerned me about the quality of their work.Mr. McShane's pricing is fair and well worth it for the peace of mind and craftsmanship you get. He was punctual, easy to communicate with, and clearly takes pride in delivering a lasting, professional installation. I will definitely be hiring him again for additional projects, including mounting two new fans and a light. Five stars -- highly recommend!
It's been a few months since installation. Thank you for such a great job! Price was reasonable, and he was friendly and kind while installing/setting up the cords. Everything was easy, and we couldn't be happier. The only thing is the cord hider(?) came off the wall a few times. He actually warned us that our cords were a little too short and recommended longer ones, and so this isn't a reflection of the material but our cords. Anyways highly recommend this service! He also hangs shelves, some fixtures... hit him up! :)
The service was very professional and detailed had two tvs and sound bar mounted. I was very pleased with the results I would recommend to anyone needing this service.
Emmett provided a professional, high-quality installation of my TV. He was fast and efficient with good communication. He provided installation options before as part of the quote for utilizing my own TV mount and cords. Great service!
I've called Emmet multiple times to help me Mount things in and around our house. A few of my coworkers had hired him prior to me, and had nothing but good things to say about him and his work. From the start, he was very quick to respond via text messaging, friendly and had great communication throughout. I hired him the first time to mount my 65" TV and the sound bar in my loft and he was able to hide all the wires to make it look sleek and clean. I was surprised at how he can slang the TV by himself and make it look light! He does very clean work (cleans up after himself) and doesn't take much time at all to complete the job. I provided my own TV Mount and a generic sound bar mount, but he did offer to provide them if I needed (at an additional cost of course). The second time I hired him was to mount our home gym equipment including the weight plate holders & bar holder. Emmet took his time, made sure to level everything and measured the height of my garage to make sure the equipment would fit properly. He had forgotten a tool at his house so went home and came back really quick to finish the job. He's reliable, affordable and does quality work! The third time I hired him to mount a frameless mirror in my home gym. Emmet had guided me in what I needed to buy for the mounting and even texted me example photos with descriptions of different things he's used in the past. Again, great communication and showed up on time. And mostly recently I had him mount a 75 inch tv in my living room, change out one ceiling fan & change multiple outlets. As always, great communication and clean work!
Emmett was professional, prompt, personable, reliable (ran out of p words Hehe), and CLEAN!!!! He swept and cleaned up after himself which is super rare! We are so grateful for his help as what we thought was going to be breezy easy to put up our newly acquired TV mount and 85 inch TV from Costco was starting to be overwhelming. Supah Emmett to the rescue! Within minutes he showed up, made the TV cord disappear, cleaned up and left us in ecstatic bliss... Price was fair. He's a pro. We plan on asking him to set up more rooms when we are ready. GoodNewsHawaii.com
Was able to come next day & did a great job mounting 70" TV with hidden wires. Definitely not the cheapest but would hire again

Best Overall - TV mounting McShane Mounting was awesome to work with! Super quick response, easy communication and very friendly from start to finish. The service was excellent, the quality of the work was on point, and the price was very reasonable. As someone who doesn't know how to do this kind of work (same with my husband), it was definitely worth it to have someone who knows what they're doing. Fast, efficient, and got everything done right. Really appreciate the great service. highly recommend! read more
This is my 2nd review as this was another project completed to install 3 different LED light fixtures. Emmett knew how to remove my existing track lights and a heavy chandelier. He definitely knows what to do and completes the work successfully and efficiently. He even carries a small dustpan/brush to clean up minor debris that has fallen from removing the existing fixtures. He had suggested to buy the new fixtures from Amazon since there's many choices. I scheduled with him once the new fixtures arrived. Again, another successful project done by Emmett! The installation of my security outdoor cameras are working great too! The first project that Emmett completed. Highly recommend him!! read more

Emmett came to our townhouse in Hawaii Kai to install a new tv mount. We had a great conversation while he worked on installing the mount, new electrical outlet, and also hiding the cable box behind the tv. Before we knew it he was finished. Since he was there we also had him install a RING doorbell, ceiling fan, and ceiling light fixture. He works quickly, and is a true professional. read more

Very quick to respond to text messages and very accommodating! We requested for a lot of work to be done and he go everything completed super quick! We had requested: - Adding 2 new plugs - TV ceiling mount - Fixing a plug - Mounting a mirror - Mounting a bike rack We had bought all the mounts from amazon and he easily set everything up for us. My husband and I were so confused on how quick he was able to get the TV mount and the TV up so quickly all by himself! We 100% recommend McShane Mounting for anyone that's unsure of how to mount items to your house. read more
I sent out a quote request less than 24 hours ago. Within minutes Emmit responded, confirmed price, availability and the appointment was set. I was looking to have a flat-screen mounted to a concrete wall inside our condo. He arrived punctually, he was polite, but most importantly his work was quick and professional. The t.v. was mounted in a matter of minutes and he had a small shop vac so there was no mess. He ran a plastic cover to hide the cable and we are very satisfied with the outcome. If you need small kine work or installation definitely hit him up and see if he can help. Mahalo Emmit!! read more

Great service from beginning to end. Emmett is super responsive with any questions you have. Recommends the type of TV's to get based on your wants and needs. Learned a lot from him by just our first few conversations. This is possibly something you could DIY but why not get it done the right way and CLEAN. He works so clean during and after. This added so much value to my house. Already recommended him to my brother that lives down the road. Emmett is doing his recess lighting, and TVs Oh and SUPPORT LOCAL! This is a local bradda with a family. I'm all about supporting locals trying to work hard to make it in Hawaii. read more

100% recommend McShane Mounting. Originally I was going to buy a mount through Costco and pay for the in wall set up service. Im SO GLAD I DIDN'T, and booked my service with McShane Mounting. The whole process was simple and convenient. Additionally, I was able to buy my TV mount through him. He is quick to communicate in the pre-sale of service and provided great options and opinions for my setup. I will be booking with McShane Mounting again for future projects. Additionally, he keeps the workspace super tidy and clean after his work. I have had other contractors where this wasn't the case. 10/10 make sure you book with McShane Mounting rather than Costco's service. You won't regret it. read more
