Used to be great but in the last few months has gone down the toilet. The French fires are an anemic flaccid frozen abomination that is sprinkled with a miserly dusting of cheese, also flavorless. Dinner burger underwhelming in every way. The farm salad was great, won't be back for a bit. Please turn things around. read more

On the one hand the food and the drinks are first class. Very attractive waitresses. But it's incredibly expensive. A burger outside dish and a drink comes to about 30 bucks plus tip. read more

We had an excellent dinner with great service! We sat outside in the covered patio area. The first table we sat at was on the end and I was cold. A server in a different area proactively offered to move us to the table by the fire place. Awesome customer anticipation! My husband and I started with the sweet potato fries and then shared a small wedge salad. We ended with burgers of course. My husband had the Bruce Lee and I had the plain and simple. Delicious!! Whenever we feel like a burger this is our go to place!! A special shout out to Christina for the great service!! read more

This is one of the best burger places in Tucson. They have a simple menu of different burger options. If your not feeling your burger on a bun no worries you can get your burger in a bowl. A really well priced menu. I recommend getting the fries as well with the yogurt sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive. read more

We have dined in often at this location over the years. It's always been one of favs. Lately, we have been doing curbside pick up and have been incredibly disappointed with the cook on my burger. I order medium well and consistently get medium rare. I even specifically asked this time to double-check it. I was assured they checked the temp and it was cooked correctly. Got home took a big bite and sure enough- medium rare! I couldn't eat it. Dogs enjoyed it. Aside from this, everyone else's was cooked perfectly and fries are always done good. read more

Zinburger - B.Y.O.B* (Build Your Own Burger) - Burgers Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Hubby and I got burgers and an appetizer. I ordered mine rare, and his medium. When they came out we cut the burgers in half and his was about medium rare, and mine was maybe medium, if you're being generous. When our waiter came by he noticed my burger was not rare at all and insisted on remaking it correctly. I was honestly surprised that he went out of his way to not only offer to correct it, but remembered I asked for rare. This is how great service is done. We will definitely be going back soon! read more

Yum, yum, yum! Unique flavors with their burger toppings. Go bold, order something new! It's ready for pickup pretty quickly.

Nice patio, good customer service. $15+ for a burger without fries or any side option is unreasonable.

It's cool good burger best burger great fry's good shakes and food and good burgers and fry and awesome service and good burgers and food.

Used to love their burgers but they're not the same anymore- when you ask for medium rare it's more medium well- which makes or breaks a burger read more

What a treat for my birthday lunch. We sat on the patio, and although it was a really hot day, we were quite warm, it was doable. We were surprised that even with a number of open tables inside, we were told that the only available seating was outside. Our server, Mac was remarkable. Attentive and very aware, our drinks never ran dry. We started with the wings. Baked with an excellent homemade buffalo sauce, they were both meaty and tasty. I had the Diablo with a turkey patty. Great flavour and recipe with caramelised onions, pepper jack cheese, and green chiles. My bride had the burger bowl which turned out to be a really nice meal with sweet potato, artichokes, and quinoa. Other than not understanding the seating issue, this was a tremendous experience. We will be back. read more

Went to the River/Campbell resto on a happy hour recently. No one is manning the reception area, and the place looks busy but I noticed only one server making rounds at the dining area. We got the cheeseburger and steakburger and shared an order of fries. I think the burgers were good. It looked like it just matches the happy hour price to me. My boyfriend wasn't raving about his cheeseburger but said it was ok. I mean I guess it's an up against eating at Burger King, right? At least here, you can pair your burgers with a good Margarita or wine. I'd still be open to go back there if I was told to go get decent burgers somewhere :) read more

This location was convenient. I was coming to Costco to top off gas and this location was conveniently very close. So, I stopped in for a brief snack. I'm not sure when they start the burger of the week. I was kind of looking forward to one from a different location. I wonder if all Zinburgers have the same burger of the week or if they vary. The last one I was in earlier in the week in Phoenix on Sunday had a different one. They were offering a Portobello mushroom burger caramelized onions. This burger of the week that I ordered was really good. Much better than I was expecting especially for a turkey burger. It was The Jerk. A Turkey burger w/ garlic & onions in the patty with pepper jack cheese & a mango salsa. $12 I also had a Nutella Hazelnut Crunch shake for $5. I asked for it to be extra thick, with extra toffee & extra hazelnuts. In my opinion if a shake is to be great it should be thick enough to require a spoon to eat and you can't at first drink. If you let it sit for long enough then maybe. It was by far and hands down the best shake I've ever had on this planet. Not that I've gone to others. Or have I I would consider myself a food and shake connoisseur. So, trust me get the shake. You won't be disappointed. And if so, well you might not have any taste buds left and would be better off at Denny's. read more

Zinburger is pretty amazing! There were 4 of us that visited this establishment and all of us loved the food! There's a wide assortment of different burgers, which I'm sure are all awesome, although, I HIGHLY recommend the Bruce Lee burger. Asian BBQ sauce, avocado, jalapeño, slaw, cucumber, vinaigrette and sriracha sauce. I know now why they call it the Bruce Lee burger, because it literally felt like Bruce Lee kicked me in the mouth, but it was sooooo worth it. Our server was amazing! She was friendly and was knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Why the 4 stars?? Well, I ordered a chocolate shake to go with my burger and asked to have no whipped cream. You guessed it, it came with whipped cream. No big deal, I asked the runner that brought the shake to if she could give me something like a small bowl so I could dig out the whipped cream. She grabs the cup out of my hand and rolls her eyes and proceeds to takes it in the back. For those of you that have seen the movie called "Waiting" should already know I didn't drink that shake when she brought it back out. I'm not crazy. I did ask the server to take it off of the bill though. Overall, we'll come back to this place because the food is that good. I just hope we don't get "Angry Alice" as our food runner next time. 4 stars and two thumbs up for the food! Happy eating my foodies. read more

Food is good, service has been good 2 out of 3 times. What was disappointing is when I asked the waitress if they were short staffed... and her hackles went up. I was just trying to understand why I hadn't seen her throughout our meal. From then on it was uncomfortable. Even the manager seemed frustrated that we were trying to understand why our service was substandard. I have been a waitress and a bartender. I have compassion and understanding... but the response tonight seemed off tempo and really left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Very impressed with my first visit. Restaurant has a very clean, welcoming and open environment. I ordered the Samburger and it was one of the best presented burgers I've had in my life. We had always wanted to try this place and finally made it last Sunday night. Inside had a 30 minute wait, so we dined on the patio, no wait. It was a bit warm, but there was a lot of shade, misters, and a breeze. To honor the name, we each had a glass of one of the zins and a burger. They offer many other varieties of wines and also a small but nice beer selection. The burgers we tried were the classic, the Bruce Lee, and the California burger bowl. Classic was a smaller burger cooked medium well with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The Bruce Lee was medium rare with sriracha mayo, lime dressing, and jalapenos. The burger bowl had a burger cooked medium rare with greens, Brussels sprouts, brown rice, etc. My friend added bleu cheese dressing and loved it. All burgers were very good and there are many more choices on the menu. The zins were also tasty. I can't wait to go back! read more

We visit Zin Burger frequently for their happy hour, which features half of glasses and bottles of wine, half off draft beer, and $6 dollar cocktails. That combined with smaller portioned burgers for $5 and you really can't go wrong. I also appreciate their smaller menu. This to me says that they focus on quality, not quantity. read more

This place was very clean and trendy. It has a nice atmosphere with lots of plants and things to look at. There is a nice outdoor seating area which we liked since the weather was perfect for it. The food was fantastic Designer burgers are great here. They actually make the burger varieties unique unlike other places I have been. You know the ones where the make up a fancy name for a variety burger, charge you $2 more and then just put some thousand island dressing for something different. This place actually puts the variety in. I got the Zinburger which was great along with fries to share with the table. The service was good, attentive, and welcoming. The prices are higher than burger places but the quality is higher along with a great atmosphere, so it is adequately priced. Will definitely return. read more

Salad with chicken added. It was good. Came here because Online included Zin in a search for Keto diet. Waitress had NO CLUE what that that was. I explained no starch, carbs etc. She still had no idea or suggestions. I asked for a half salad with chicken. . Apparently I received a full salad with chicken as that's what I was billed for. Told waitress I ordered half. She adjusted my bill no problem but didn't stick around for even a second for me to ask was I just misbilled or did I in fact get the full salad. 1pm on a Saturday. Busy but not overly. Waitress at no time gave me two seconds of her attention. Not impressed on my 1st time there. read more

DELICIOUS VEGAN BURGER! As a child, I enjoyed burgers, but as an adult, I eventually stopped eating red meat. I was delighted to learn that Zinburger has vegan and/or vegetarian options on their menu. I was able to enjoy an old-fashioned childhood favorite: a coke, a burger (vegetarian, because it had cheese) and fries. I was/am really surprised at how delicious it was, without biting into grissel or a bone. I will definitely return to enjoy a vegan burger and fries that tastes, to me, better than the real thing. Highly recommend! read more

I have eaten at Zinburger many times- large variety of interesting burgers designed for the adult palate- tasty. Sometimes, the list is so extensive that you don't know where to start. My last visit though was the best meal I have EVER had at Zinburger. On most visits, I get the burger with Frank's Redhot and an onion ring and I order it without the bun because by the time I finish it (and who is going to take part of a burger in a doggie bag?) and double truffle fries (or sweet potato fries) I feel like I'm going to explode. Enter the California Burger Bowl. This burger comes with grilled zucchini, mushrooms and sweet potato. The sauce has tamari and I'm not sure what else in it. This bowl of delectable goodness was so juicy and so fresh and so clean tasting that I couldn't stop raving about it! It was satisfying and just delightful. My new fave and I can't wait to eat it again! read more

After my last reivew, I gave Zinburger another try. However, this time, I went to another location on Grant. The waiter took very good care of us; when we came in for lunch, we were seated right away. The waiter was very attentive the entire time, never forgetting to refill my water and asking if we needed anything. We both had gluten concerns, so I ordered a gluten-free veggie burger and sweet potato fries, and my friend ordered a salad with ahi on top. The waiter went out of his way to double check if the veggie burger patty had gluten in it, without me having to ask, and kindly informed me that the veggie burger had gluten in it, and asked if I wanted to order a different plate. I changed my order to the classic Zinburger, and was very satisfied; the burger came with caramelized onions. I ordered the medium-rare patty, and it was cooked to my complete satisfaction. As for the salad with Ahi, my friend, a regular at Zinburger, ordered a smaller-sized plate (without chickpeas) because the regular size was too big for her. She ordered the sauce on the size, and she was very happy with her food as well. I feel like Zinburger's foods are very healthy, and the staff are more than willing to take care of their customers. The burgers and the salad are on the pricer side, but I am willing to pay that much for their trustworthy service. I would definitely recommend Zinburger (especially at the Grant location) and would go back. read more

Finally made my way to zinburger... It was a last minute decision. Completely shocked to find it completely packed at 5pm. Turns out they have happy hour every day 4-6pm. Half off wine, drafts and starters. Unimpressed with burger options. So many options but I feel like they limited themselves. But still made up for it with several milkshake options. Kids meals were $3, didn't get any but great deal. Ordered truffle fries, Mac n cheese and zucchini fries to start. Zucchini fries were really good but you get tired of them after a few bites. Mac n cheese was thick and creamy, very good. Truffle fries were extremely disappointing. Maybe I have high standards when it comes to truffle fries... Wouldn't order again. Everything needed salt. Now normally, I hate getting burgers... No one ever cooks them right. Always overcooked or under. I ordered medium and I received medium. My mind is blown. Cooks who actually cook to the right temp... Burger was decent, buns were slightly sweet. What's on the menu is what you get, no raw onion, tomato or lettuce. Decided to get banana cream pie thanks to a pic from a fellow yelper that looked delicious... And oh boy was it. Usually not a fan of pie just cause of crusts... This was a sugary caramel graham cracker crust that was absolutely to die for... Almost ordered another one after I destroyed it. Heavy on whipped cream and caramel and light on bananas but I was still very happy and would order again. read more

Disappointed : ( I was expecting something fabulous for the price. Way to messy we won't be back.

We dined in a few times with them, pre-COVID. Good but not great. Rushed and hectic (during happy hour). However, this review doesn't cover the past. We wanted to give them another chance to redeem themselves during the pandemic. A Family Pack dinner including two burgers, a bag of mixed fried things, and a salad for $25 sounded great. Alas, it would not come to be. I called last night, spoke to a woman after asking, yes, can I order the Family pack special over the phone, for the honey to pick up and pay cash? Yes. What kind of burgers are included? All of them, but the Build Your Own Burger (BYOB) can have only two toppings. Great. As with all of the burgers, they can be substituted with a turkey or veggie burger, or their chicken choices (grilled or crispy). I proceed with the order, both the Zinburger and the West Coast with turkey, well done, and some of the other details. She's about to hang up when I ask, please review the order, provide an amount and time to pick up. "The Zin and West Coast with a Beyond Burger..." I stop her right there, is a Beyond Burger a turkey burger? "No, it's a veggie burger because we're out of turkey patties..." Um, thanks but no thanks. Thanks to my earlier training as a waitress, always review the order before hitting up the kitchen - she was about to royally screw up our order without even asking or telling me about the no turkey situation. I lost faith that they'd get anything right. Did you mean extra salt with those fries? (I ask for no salt/seasonings...). I wasn't about to take that chance. We canned the order and said sayonara to the $25 deal. See ya Zinburger. It was meh while it lasted. read more
