Pizza was tasty, hot and fresh ingredients. We order 5 different styles and the variety helped to satisfy our kids, who can be picky. Service was fast and friendly. Great vibes and a stones throw from the sand. Great place to refuel before or after the beach.

The pizza toppings and drink selection are excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. We were able to eat here multiple times because it is so conveniently close to the beach. Most importantly, my kids love it and therefore made the trip more enjoyable.

This place is downtown Oceanside, walking distance from the water. You make your own pizza or choose from a list, and they make it on the spot. They have lots of bottled beverages to choose from. The pizza was yummy, and the garlic knots and salad were delicious. Only negative was one garlic knot was raw on the inside. Which is easy to do with such bread items and being they have such fast wait time. We'll be back again!

Best pizza and beer specials downtown! Love the HIT and Slow ride pizza best! Always pair it with a beer and Ceasar salad! Get it to go or eat there and then take a walk down in the strand. Fast service! Fresh tasty food! Good portions and prices! Gotta love being able to have a slice of pizza and watch the sunset in beautiful Oceanside!

    Meat Lover's Stromboli
    Darlene N.

Oh so OILY!! Wow! I half expected an oily Meat Lovers Stromboli but it was quite literally swimming in oil as pictured; the box was soaked through the inner parchment paper lining. It was pretty yummy but I could only handle one piece before my stomach started acknowledging all the oil. And again, I chocked it up to being a heavy meat loaded menu item but I couldn't believe it when I got to the Veggie Stromboli and it was still dripping in oil! I could barely taste the vegetables through all the oil and I can't quite figure out where it's coming from...whether the cheese or the way they cook it all. Super unfortunate honestly. I really wanted to like this pizza place given how conveniently placed it is by the pier but alas, I will continue the hunt for a good Oceanside pizza place. What did salvage this rating from being 2 stars however were the garlic knots. Crispy, covered in diced garlic and wonderfully paired with complimentary marinara sauce. If I'd stopped at the garlic knots, I would have thought this place was the one. I also appreciated the quick service and accurate completion of my online order through DoorDash. The outdoor seating was clean, comfortable and great for people watching while eating. Plenty of parking right out front and all around. As said before, location is prime!

    Ticket to Paradise
    José D.

Tried the Ticket to Paradise pizza and it definitely lived up to the name. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy the habanero drizzle added a really nice kick without being overpowering. Conveniently located near the Oceanside Pier, making it a great spot to grab a bite after a walk on the beach.

Are here while staying at the Wyndham resort. Convenient place to grab a bite. A little pricey for what it is. Service was ok, order taken and received accurately. The place was spacious and clean. The food was fresh and hot.

This place is not just another pizza place! The staff is very sharp and I'm a health but so I customize my pizza cauliflower crust, feta, parm, mushroom, fresh basil and garlic and olive oil not sauce and it's amazing and they get it right every time and it's DELICIOUS. They have so many options from standard to artisan. It's right near the beach so Zig Zag your way today.

Over an hour wait with an empty restaurant. There was very few people in the restaurant and unable to make a single pizza I'm under an hour.

This is a long review so if you are here for my experience at rosewood, scroll to the second…read moreparagraph, if you'd like to read everything (which I encourage), please do. Firstly, was appalled to see that this negative Nancy, supposedly a "regular", was operating at a 'lightbulb-in-a-power-outage' level of thinking." Just wanted to clarify, as someone who comes to rosewood a couple times a month, and always had such a wonderful time. Before i get into my review (second paragraph), I'd like to share some of my critical thinking skills with the few that decided to leave subpar reviews about this establishment. 1: The sidewalk is PUBLIC, everybody has the right to be on PUBLIC property, even the homeless. No one can tell anyone to leave if they are on public property, even if they are in front of a business, simple logic. 2: This is a small business, so what they charge a dollar for an ounce of their delicious sauce, small profit margins = can't cut corners as much as large cooperations, common sense. 3: There's different music every night, that attracts crowds of ethnicities, race, sex, etc., can't be u happy when a certain class of people show up wanting to listen to music. And my last point before I actually give my review; 4: This is Oceanside, you cannot go a single day without witnessing some homeless people doing weird or crazy stuff! This isn't La Jolla. If you are supposedly a "regular", one bad experience, that is out of the owner's hands, shouldn't cause you to have such a tantrum. Now while everyone has a right to their own opinion, let's use critical thinking and common sense before we bash a small, family business. Review: Rosewood, the few times I have been, have been exceptional. While the ramen may be bland a couple of times, let the owner know, as he always welcomes feedback! Other than some little bumps, the owner (Josh), is a one man show running this business. We've been here a few times when it was busy and he always tried his best to keep cool, even while serving, bussing and pouring drinks meanwhile the restaurant is full of people. If you're coming here for the ramen, you can't go wrong with the basic miso. It comes with pork and you could add chicken to it for $5 dollars. The J3, which is a mix of the house made, red and white sangria is TO DIE FOR. Additionally, the dirty bird fries, and the filet mignon with noodles (which I had on two separate occasions), were just as beautifully prepared and delicious as they looked on the menu. The ambience, it exceptionally beautiful. There is art surrounding the whole restaurant, with even a gallery that leads you to the restrooms, definitely would come in, just to check out the artwork. We came on a Sunday, so a slower day, and there was this band named "FNK" that was playing... WONDERFUL. They played some cover songs and sang especially well. Enjoyed every song they played. The service, was amazing as always, with Diego taking our orders and being prompt with what we needed. Overall, experience at rosewood so far has been nothing but excellent. Don't let all these negative reviews fool you. You can't come to a small business expecting perfection every single time, especially if it's the first time. 10/10!

We were trying to find a place that was a midway point between Temecula and San Diego to meet up…read morewith a friend. We settled on Oceanside in hopes of finding good food, as our weekend (end of Feb) had been full of a poor results. This place came up as very well rated on Yelp, as my friend and I searched for places to eat. It was a Saturday night with great weather. The red flag I should have read into was that the lone guy working that night was a one man show. He was doing it all in the front of the house. I tried to get us a table to sit outdoors but he just couldn't get to the table to clean it. After about 20 minutes he finally came and just moved all the bowls to the empty table next to it and wiped it down. When my friends finally arrived we all sat down to sticky menus that had NO descriptions. What you see on the website is exactly what they have on the menu. We had to wait to ask the server/host what each menu item meant. It took a while to get our food from when we ordered. Thank goodness for good company, I didn't clock it. The food options were limited and keep in mind for those who have children, most of the options come with a spicy kick, you'll have to explicitly tell them "no spicy"! There was a party who had been sitting for a while before we got there and a kiddo took a bite of pizza and was crying, screaming from it being so spicy. With my ramen the portions are tiny for what you pay, with 1 piece of meat, not enough noodles. Flavor wise it was spicy and bland. We ordered a couple appetizers which were not very good. The edamame was overly salty and soaked in soy sauce and the karaage was probably the only good thing and that was a little overfried. No one in our party finished our food or took any of the leftovers home. Save yourself the trip, not worth trying the "unique foods".

I've tried a good portion of the menu, and some of my favorites are the Bam Bam Burger, Jughead Burger, carne asada bowl, and the monster chili dog. The fries are always so good, and the cold mac salad is a must The portions are generous and I almost always have leftovers, which I love. Even my non-vegan husband enjoys coming here, and we've recommended it to friends who have also really liked it Service has always been great, food usually comes out quickly, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful The space itself has such an eclectic, laid-back vibe with tons of art and character, it's just a fun place to be Sometimes the sauce levels can be a little on the heavier side depending on the day, but the flavors are always really good The hibiscus lemonade is really refreshing, I'd just personally enjoy it even more with ice It's clear everything here comes from a lot of creativity and passion, and I really appreciate the care that goes into a menu that's entirely his own!

The owner took our order and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative. He described all of the dishes and you can tell he genuinely loves his resturant and what he's doing there. At one point he mentioned that he's proud of the portions because he thinks a lot of vegan resturants tend to skimp a little. He was absolutely right to be proud. I had the French Dip and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had. The stek was sliced thin and really tasty, the cheze in the sandwich was perfectly gooey (which is rare for plant based cheze), and the aujus was the real star. I've honestly had nothing like it before. It was also a really hearty portion and super filling. My wife had the Jambi sandwich -- a hash brown wafflle with fried chikun, sunflower swiss, seitan bakon between two pieces of french toast -- plus chili fries on the side. The sandwich itself was impressively big and definitely lived up to the owner's point about portions. We've both been vegan for about 10 years and always appreciate finding places doing creative food like this. We live about an hour and a half away, but we're already figuring out when we can make the trek back for another visit.
