I have been to this part of the beach numerous times and for some reason never stopped in here. Why!? The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. In my most recent California trip, I came here 2 different times. My kids loved the pizza so much, I had to go back again and get them more for a different meal. I walked in when they first opened one day and ordered 2 large pizzas. I grabbed a drink from the cooler and the massive selection and hung out while they made it. I didn't even finish my drink and my pizza was done! They were quick and efficient and I appreciated that. The pizza was amazing and we loved the thinner crust with lots of flavor. Oh so OILY!! Wow! I half expected an oily Meat Lovers Stromboli but it was quite literally swimming in oil as pictured; the box was soaked through the inner parchment paper lining. It was pretty yummy but I could only handle one piece before my stomach started acknowledging all the oil. And again, I chocked it up to being a heavy meat loaded menu item but I couldn't believe it when I got to the Veggie Stromboli and it was still dripping in oil! I could barely taste the vegetables through all the oil and I can't quite figure out where it's coming from...whether the cheese or the way they cook it all. Super unfortunate honestly. I really wanted to like this pizza place given how conveniently placed it is by the pier but alas, I will continue the hunt for a good Oceanside pizza place. What did salvage this rating from being 2 stars however were the garlic knots. Crispy, covered in diced garlic and wonderfully paired with complimentary marinara sauce. If I'd stopped at the garlic knots, I would have thought this place was the one. I also appreciated the quick service and accurate completion of my online order through DoorDash. The outdoor seating was clean, comfortable and great for people watching while eating. Plenty of parking right out front and all around. As said before, location is prime! read more

Tried the Ticket to Paradise pizza and it definitely lived up to the name. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy the habanero drizzle added a really nice kick without being overpowering. We ordered a Satisfaction and custom pepperoni pizzas. Didn't take very long for those to come out. Pizza was excellent, one of the best we have had. It's located at the corner of the Wyndham Oceanside pier resort. Stopped by about 20 minutes before they closed for a to- go order. I noticed they were picking up the sidewalk chairs so I had just got in on time. My pizza order came out in about 10 minutes which was pretty prompt. It's a thinly sliced pizza but had the perfect crunch. It was so good! I could've ate the whole pie myself. It went perfect with my Guava cart! We had driven all day and one of the girls in our group really wanted pizza! We stumbled upon this place and decided to try it out. They do not have slices, but the pricing for the small pizza was not bad at all! The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The pizza came out pretty quickly--maybe ten minutes max! The pizza sauce had this amazing taste to it! The crust is a thin crust. Perfect amount of cheese! All three of us were thrilled with our pricing and the pizza that we ordered. After a long day, on the soccer fields, a bunch of us decided to head over to the beach to relax and unwind. We hit up ZIGZAG for pizza and salad and took advantage of the "order online" feature on their website, which was super convenient... We also purchased some chips and drinks and used the bathroom before hitting the beach... it worked out perfectly. A few reasons why I am going with 3 star ava 4 or 5: 1- even though I ordered my salad to go, there was no mention of utensils, so I got all the way to the beach before realizing, I had no fork! 2- the sausage and mushroom pizza I ordered had barely any mushrooms at all on it! 3- while the pizza hit the spot, it was definitely nothing to write home about... it was a-okay and convenient for the beach but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here otherwise. All of that said, if you are seeking pizza and salad to take to the beach (or on your way to/from), ZIGZAG may be just the place! read more

Ok, what?! Umm this is like a Blaze, Pieology, or MOD and I'm here for it. THIS IS PERFECT FOR BEING RIGHT BY THE PIER AND HOTELS!! They offer GF Cauliflower crust and have a "bottle shop" drink set up. There's something for everyone. The inside is larger than what you'd expect from merely walking by. It's also operated under the same umbrella company as it's neighbor 333 Pacific--so if you've eaten there, you know this place will be good! I wish they had vegan cheese... but I imagine that wouldn't sell before going bad, so I understand the hang up there. (But, maybe something to look into for the vegan and dairy intolerant folks. I mean, assuming the cauliflower crust is also vegan, otherwise the vegan point is moot.) The staff were friendly and actually caring in their craft. The dining area was clean and well maintained. (This is no easy feat in the summer, on a weekend, this close to the beach. KUDOS!) We will most definitely be back!!! read more
