My family and I visited the Flower Gardens and stumbled upon the Pizza Trolley. We ordered three pepperoni pizzas, Italian Sub, and a Kids Meal. This fed 4 adults and 2 kids. After hours of chasing my toddlers around this was the energy boost, we all needed. The pizza was truly the best we ever had! It was made from fresh ingredients and cooked right on site after you order. The trolley itself is ridiculously cute and brings back memories from a kid riding the old town trolley around San Diego. The pizza was made quickly, and we were gobbling it down in no time. The sitting area is fantastic - so much shade! If your kids are tractor fans, you can see the tractors along the side - this was a major highlight for my family. Another great idea would have been to sit at the playground which is only steps away from the Pizza Trolley and let your kids run wild while you have a little date Overall, a 10/10 for the food! Pizza Trolly food truck was at the Flower Fields. My niece wanted pizza, and I wanted nachos from a different truck. We each ordered what we wanted and then split our food. That way, we could try two different spots. First of all, I was impressed they allowed her to do half and half. She wanted pepperoni and I wanted margarita. The margarita pizza was delicious! The sauce was sweet but tangy, and the tomatoes and mozzarella were fresh! A perfect combo! It takes a little while to make the pizza, so they gave her a pager that buzzed when the food was ready. Date of visit: May 3, 2021 One of the people in a local Facebook group was giving away a coupon for a free pizza at Pizza Trolley; it was a bit too much of a drive for her to head out to Distribution Drive in Miramar. I gladly took it off her hands and finally redeemed the coupon this past Sunday. The draw behind Pizza Trolley is that their artisanal pizzas are baked inside a wood-fired brick oven located in, you guessed it, a trolley! I used my coupon for a Three Meat Pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and Canadian bacon - normally &10), and ten minutes later, was rewarded with a pretty hearty ten-inch pizza that was cut in fourths. The crust was freshly baked, the sauce is made from a family recipe, and the toppings were nicely apportioned (I'd never seen Canadian bacon slices that large before on a pizza). Needless to say, this was a really good pizza that filled me up after two slices. While the menu is a bit on the small side (pizza and salads), you can't go wrong with a ten-inch cpizza for $10! read more

I can't recall a time in my life where I've ever had fresh hand-sliced pineapple on my pizza. It always comes out of a can but that's not how they roll in the Pizza Trolley. Yours truly was feeling a bit peckish while visiting New Motion and figured "well, I've never had pizza from a trolley, let's do this." Glad I did. In addition the aforementioned pineapple, my pizza also had hand-sliced jalapeño and some super fresh (giant) pepperoni slices. It's a one man show (or at least it was that day), the guy that took my order made my food and delivered it to my table piping hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. The 3 meat (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage) was fantastic. The meats were flavorful and the crust was crispy and charred. We ordered another custom pizza. The first two toppings are included, and extra toppings are $1. We got pepperoni, sausage, and fresh pineapple. The owner actually got our order wrong and gave us bell peppers instead of pineapple, and was super nice to help us fix it after. We ended up with a nice 4 topping pizza. OMG sooooooo good!! I ordered the margherita and the three meat. Both were EXCELLENT!!! Crust, perfectly thin, crisp and toasted! Toppings, all outstanding! Flavor, perfection!
