Indoor and outdoor seating, handicapped accessible plus they have extra seating upstairs and now an additional patio on the side. Picnic bench style tables, not great for older parents. Dogs allowed! Pizza, beer and wine is absolutely always fantastic! Love the Roma pizza! Tons of toppings!!! Salad is typically fine but this visit it was just meh. Very simple salad with just lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cucumbers, but the lettuce was just okay & majority of the cucumbers were old/disgusting - look like they had been frozen or gotten cold and then uncold and then recold. Definitely should not have put those on a salad and given to a customer. Need some quality control. My son got the wings and will usually devour them, but was done after one, I tried them and so did my husband.... Would not get again, tasted super fatty. We have gotten the mozzarella sticks before and those are decent. You placed your order at the counter and then they will call your name for pick up once your food is ready and appetizers typically come out first. Separate ordering at the bar for beer and wine. Trivia night on Wednesdays 6-8 p.m.. Always busy, sometimes hard to find a table but pretty quick to get in and get out. Will for sure be back but only getting pizza and beverages. read more

Pizza Port is always on our list when we visit a town with one, the location in Carlsbad was no exception. Great selection of beers on tap and in bottles and great pizza with many different varieties to choose from. We got the meat lovers one night and a supreme the other along with some wings. Pizza is done quickly and it's more of a "your order is ready come and get it" kind of place, but that's pretty standard at all the Pizza Ports and they are fast and efficient. Pizza is tasty and loaded with toppings. Wings are baked and sauced and substantial, no teeny wings here! Overall what we expect when we hit a Pizza Port. Pints were $5.00 during game time! The small Caesar salad was enough for 3 since we were also having pizza. Salad was cold and crisp. Dressing was tangy. We shared half San Francisco and half Carlsbad pizza. Both had plenty of toppings and was perfectly cooked. They even have a pump where you can get as much ranch dressing as you want to dip your pizza in. It was noisy so it would be hard to carry on a long conversation. We will be back! read more

Like the other locations, it's busy and loud, filled with people who are enjoying their beer and have some pizza on the side. And while there are a number of kids enjoying the pizza, it's not particularly great for kids- they are afforded pizza and soda or water. Not much else. I'm shocked by these reviews. The pizza is good it's fresh! Made with real ingredients. I didn't get the red sauce but it came on the side for an app. It was fine (maybe that's why) anyways it's a vibe they they a few arcade games and great outside seating! We love Pizza Port! We stop by every time we pass through Carlsbad. Great beer selection and the brews are equally good. We stick with the standard pepperoni and occasionally get the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It's always delicious. There are some interesting city themed pizzas, but we have stayed away from those. Salads are also solid. It has a fun atmosphere. There are video games for the kids. It's order at the counter and they call your number. Pizzas are made to order and they offer cheese and pepperoni by the slice. Nice outdoor area too with a separate outdoor bar next door. read more

Pizza Port was a lot of fun to visit and the pizza exceeded expectations as well. This is an open seating concept where you order food and they call you when it is ready to bring back to your table. They are also known for their beer and had a wide variety of craft selections. The only issues with Pizza Port are the prices are somewhat high and the wait times can get long during peak periods. That being said, I do like the laid back concept and no rush approach to hanging out. I would go back again and likely try to avoid peak hours. The service was prompt and they were helpful in our ordering the pizza. It's a busy place with picnic style seating and some video games for kids. It's loud with music and people, family friendly and social. When I first saw the prices I was a little nervous it would be costly but we got a medium pepperoni pizza, a Caesar salad, and one soda (they had free refills/ fountain drinks) and we only spent $32. This pizza I honestly wish they had a location closer to in the vista San Marcos area because I hate the drive but love the pizza. So I'll do the drive. I've had their beers on tap at other breweries but had never been until now.The ordering process is simple--place your order first, then find a seat if you're dining in. Our group got the BBQ chicken pizza and the kale salad. Both were delicious, but the standout for me was definitely the kale salad. It was tossed in a champagne vinaigrette and topped with pomegranate seeds, hearts of palm, artichokes, feta cheese, and sunflower seeds--so fresh and flavorful! They serve really good pizza and have options for a slice, salad and a drink which make it affordable. The specials seem to be available all day. The place was packed and they let everyone know that the pizza would take about an hour and the appetizers would take about 35 min, which is understandable there was so many people there but we eventually were able to find a seat. We came here back at the of May after spending most of the morning in the Carlsbad street fairs it was the perfect meal after walking all morning. We had a stroller and two pugs in a wagon so the patio area was perfect for us. The staff was really friendly and took our order quickly at the front. We got a pizza half cheese and the other half pepperoni with jalapeño, pretzel, and Mac& cheese bites. The pretzel and the pizza were very delicious and the crust was crunchy. Having all the condiments at the side for you to help yourself is so convenient that way we don't have to ask for ranch, Parmesan and even go boxes. I was disappointed in the Mac and cheese. They could have been a little better, they were missing some flavor. It just tasted like cheese with elbow pasta. How disappointing. Heard about Pizza Port from friends and thought I would give it a try. Came here with my family for Sunday night football pizza. While it was louder than I expected, I knew this would the environment I chose. I ordered a few small pizzas and four fountain drinks for my wife and kids and me. The fountain machine did not have any ice. I looked around and this appeared to be the only fountain drink machine. When I told the young lady behind the register she said she would just fill our cups for us in the back. She did so and we each got a different flavor of drink. Every single drink flavor in the machine was flat. The Dr Pepper was flat and hot. I didn't want to be "that customer" but at $3.25/drink, I would like to enjoy a cold tasty beverage with my food. The young lady said she would look into it but it was never addressed again. The food came out and was fine. No issues. Other than having pizza and wings with something that can be best described as DR.Pepper tasting water. It doesn't take much to ruin a meal and this did it for me. Coupled with the "I'll look into it" which was an obvious sign that they would not; I won't be returning to this establishment. Maybe beer is their strong point and they don't care about those not wanting to drink alcohol and enjoy a tasty pizza. Placed a togo order online and it was ready as promised! It was busy but they were still friendly and helpful. I asked if they could add a pesto drizzle on top and she gave me a generous amount of pesto on the side instead which was actually better! I ordered a small Laguna which is the veggie pizza with mozzarella cheese, olives, onions, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. I got the pesto and red sauce mix and the pizza came out delicious! We ordered some slices and a salad, the pizza honestly was just meh. Pizza reminded me of Costco slices. The salad had huge pieces of lettuce, raw mushrooms, large pieces of bell peppers it was hard to eat actually. Nothing we ordered was special so I'm surprised my friend recommended it. My second time here and it's such a hit for me. Reason for the 4 stars being the wait, the size of the place never having enough seating for the amount of people, and the prices being quite steep. I always order the veggie pizza which is incredible. It's loaded with cheese and toppings which I love and has great flavor. The self serve ranch is also a highlight as most joints make you pay extra whereas here you can get as much as you want. We got the pint which was a whopping $29, while it pours out quite a few drinks and is filled to the brim, it's a hefty price for a pitcher.
