    Burrata Pizza

We decided to stop by the Windmill Food Hall to grab a bite. When we arrived, a band was playing and we were craving pizza. We decided to try Craft Pizza. It was good. The pepperoni was great and the burrata was pretty good. I would definitely get another pepperoni pizza next time we stop by.

Stopped by to pick up a pizza since kiddos were wanting pizza. It's in the food mall and only offers one size - 12 in. You can split half n half so we got half cheese and half pepperoni. Loved the thin crust and pizza was good!! Seating inside the food mall can get tricky depending on your party size. We got there at about 6:30 and grabbed a bench n table for our party of 4. As soon as we got up, someone claimed it.

Burrata with pepperoni was super good, it was like a fresh salad and creamy burrata

Really great pie! Super nice people. Don't let a food court scene give you any preconceived notions. It measures up to some really good pizzas at artisan style upscale joints.

Was in the area and stopped in to check out what this place had to offer. Decided to try this spot, kept seeing people walking around with delicious looking pizza. Even in a busy ambiance it's hard to miss, it's one of the front places. The cashier was very nice, Ordered the Burrata pizza. They also have white pizza for those not wanting marinara. Loveee that this place makes their pizzas in a stone oven , the dough was airy and soft but still had a nice crunch on the crust. The tomato's added a nice sweet acidity to the cheese. My favorite pizza spot is Bueno Forchetta and this definitely is up there I'll give it a 9/10 but will be going back

Hot and fresh with stretchy cheese. Located in the food hall, this will definitely satisfy your cravings for pizza. All things considered, pretty standard and good, and there's definitely better pizzas if you're looking for classic or gourmet. But if you're with friends and what something to share, this is a good place to try. Service was friendly and it took about 10 minutes for our orders. The interior of the food hall can get busy and tables are first come first serve.

Craft Pizza in the Windmill Food Hall is a gem. We're at the Windmill once every month or two for Spar Customs' car show and concert, and we always try to order food from a different stall. This really hit the spot! The pizza was fresh and flavorful, and the caprese gave us that dose of veggies we needed. Great service and staff, and really can't beat the ambiance of the Windmill. :)

I ordered a bacon breakfast pizza and asked for no cheese cause I'm allergic. There was definitely dairy on the pizza because my mouth started to swell up so I stopped eating. I brought it home to my wife and asked if there was cheese because sometimes it is hard to tell with egg and cheese(at least it is for me because I try to stay away from dairy products like Superman does with kryptonite). My wife was able to do a cheese pull and tell. With all that said, my wife enjoyed the pizza. So if you don't care about a restaurant following directions order from Craft Pizza.

We had a great choice to visit this place. They have a great pizza , this is one of the top 3 pizza place of California. All fresh ingredients and great service. We will visit again and again ... it is Italian feel in California.

Bottom crust was crispy from the center to the edge.

12/08/2023 Lunch date with hubby before a business meeting brought us here. This is located inside the Windmill Food Hall. Order at the counter, wait to pick up your food and open seating in the hall. We ordered a Supreme Pizza (?) without the baked veggies. There was a good amount of ingredients across the pizza. The cheese was good, it had a decent cheese pull from each slice. The sauce was average tasting, not too much. The pizza crust was crunchy from the center to the edges and had pretty good flavor. Best part of the pizza! Overall a decent pizza. Maybe come back to try the dessert pizza with Little O or even the calzone because the crust was the best part.

Okay I know that there are many options in this food hall but do not pass up on this pizza. It is only one size which is definitely shareable with one other person but even if you don't share it is totally worth it! I have had it twice now in the last month and keep craving it because it is super fresh and delicious! The first time I ordered it I got just a classic pepperoni pizza and took the rest home to have it for dinner too. If you are pizza with ranch lover you have to try their ranch it is super good!

Craft Pizza is on the right; inside the Windmill Food Hall.

Craft Pizza is prominently located near the food hall entrance and right across from the Windmill Bar. You can't miss it and really, you don't want to miss it because they're serving up great pizzas! THE FOODS | Pizzas, calzones, appetizers, and deserts. I ordered... - Prosciutto Pizza | No marinara sauce, but there is a layer of mozzarella/parmesan cheese, which is more than acceptable in my book. The prosciutto slices and arugula are placed on top after the pizza comes out of the oven, giving it that fresh touch. I absolutely love this pizza. THE CRAFT PIZZA FEELS | Lively and busy as they crank out pizzas from their fire oven in the back. THE PARKING SITUATION | There's a pretty big parking lot and had no issues finding an open spot. Parking is free. WOULD I COME BACK? | Obviously. Their prosciutto pizza reminds me of the same thing I used to order when I studied abroad in Italy many, many years ago.

This restaurant is in side of the Windmill Food Hall. After looking thru all the restaurants I had settled on this. It was amazing, the crust is perfectly crusty, and the flavor is out of this world. Quick and nice service. And the whole vibe inside is like the picture perfect hangout spot.

    Garlic knots

Located in windmill food hall. Staff are friendly and quick! My husband ordered garlic knots on a whim for an appetizer, while we chose what we would get from the other stands. But the garlic knots came out with cheese and basil sprinkled on them plated beautifully with some tasty savory marinara sauce. They tasted super good. They didn't have to go that hard on just some garlic knots but it was super appreciated. After having those, my husband decided to order a pizza from them and he loved it!

Pizza was alright, not the best, not the worst. Had the one with Burrata on top, wasn't a fan.

Very stingy place. Would not even give me one plate. That is very bad service. Pizza is usually shared and they are being cheap with plates.

5 stars for the pizza & beer/wine & atmosphere 2 stars…read moresalad & wings Been going to Pizza Port for decades every time we are in Carlsbad. Always busy & popular place. Indoor and outdoor seating, handicapped accessible plus they have extra seating upstairs and now an additional patio on the side. Picnic bench style tables, not great for older parents. Dogs allowed! Pizza, beer and wine is absolutely always fantastic! Love the Roma pizza! Tons of toppings!!! Salad is typically fine but this visit it was just meh. Very simple salad with just lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cucumbers, but the lettuce was just okay & majority of the cucumbers were old/disgusting - look like they had been frozen or gotten cold and then uncold and then recold. Definitely should not have put those on a salad and given to a customer. Need some quality control. My son got the wings and will usually devour them, but was done after one, I tried them and so did my husband.... Would not get again, tasted super fatty. We have gotten the mozzarella sticks before and those are decent. You placed your order at the counter and then they will call your name for pick up once your food is ready and appetizers typically come out first. Separate ordering at the bar for beer and wine. Trivia night on Wednesdays 6-8 p.m.. Always busy, sometimes hard to find a table but pretty quick to get in and get out. Will for sure be back but only getting pizza and beverages.

Once I realized it was super close, I got the family together and we made a visit on a Saturday. Parking was super easy and once we walked in, suddenly realized how large the place was. So much room! And with a ton of TV's. Only issue here is the TV's appear small because the room and walls are so large. Minor problem but time to get that 100" for the Padres games. We called our order in ahead of time, knowing it would take 15-20 min to drive down. Large deep-dish pepperoni and 12 buffalo wings, half mild and half spicy. Fam said wings were spicy but I didn't think so at all. Guess it depends on your tolerance. The deep dish pizza was phenomenal. I still don't know of any place in Oceanside or Carlsbad that serves deep dish Chicago style pizza (other than Rosati's in Encinitas). Service was great. Calling ahead was a huge win because everything was ready the moment we walked in. Just had to buy some beers and pay the tab (~ $80-ish). I didn't get a receipt which I now wished I had. Beers were ice cold. Nice to see they have a whole bar in the back, though it's a bit strange. Most places would put the bar up-front by the entrance so you can see how packed or fun a place is without stepping in. We will most definitely be back to try other stuff now that we know how close they are. Can't wait to try happy hour.
