Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. Definitely give Bluebird Cafe a try!

The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. I haven't been to Jamba in a long time, so it was sad to see their cups are beyond different now and don't keep things as cold as they use to. Plus, the prices are outrageous. $8 for a small? Yikes. Good for a sweet treat but can come here regularly with those prices. Overall, 4/5 stars.

The drinks are sweeter than other places so if you can, adjust and reduce the sweetness to 50%. I ordered the sesame matcha and it was alright. My partner ordered the taro and it was too sweet for my liking. This place is run by teens. When we came in, an hour before closing, the employees had their friends chilling in the back where they store ingredients so I don't know how sanitary this place is. Seems like a health violation to me.

The pistachio dubai wow isn't even supposed to have strawberries in it and the pistachio cream should be blended with the drink. Totally not what the drink is supposed to be. It was horrible! I went back last night to try something different since I already had it in the KF in Colorado Springs...the strawberry dubai cup (no drink). This one was also a Dud- there was barely any pistachio cream and just whole pistachios (too many) and sliced strawberries. And to top it off they are using cups that are super sharp and even warned customers to be careful when removing the covers because you can cut your fingers. If they know this then stop being cheap and order new safer cups! This was never an issue in the past. Just too many reasons to be done with this location. The Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs location is waaaay better and the manager/owner is on site, their strawberry dubai cup was oh em ger the best I have had so far. Filled to the top, fresh strawberries and a much larger cup than this stingy location. No more Thornton location for me unfortunately. Not so cherry on top? Their service and attitudes. I never enjoy my drink inside since it doesn't have the best ambiance.
