    Coffee for sale
    Caroline Y.

This is a bakery tucked away on a side street in Thornton that serves pastries and coffee. All of the pastries are frozen. You can take them home to bake, or you can have somebody at the counter heat them up and eat inside. Seating is limited, so I would recommend grabbing a couple pastries and heating them at home. I had a Nutella cruffin and a strawberry croissant. Both were very flaky and yummy! They sell gift boxes of pastries. It would be a really nice idea to get somebody a pastry box as an alternative to flowers. I'm imagining giving someone this gift for a new baby, get-well, birthday, etc. With the stress of the holidays coming up, who couldn't use a couple pastries? You can grab a coffee or espresso drink at the counter as well. Please note that they only have dairy milk. No dairy free milk options are available. Overall, I'd recommend the spot as a place to get take and bake pastries.

    Delishisness

I was scrolling though Yelp looking for something yummy and new- happy day, I landed here at LaBelle. This location is a pick up spot, not dine in but don't let that full you, it's the hook to crave the dining experience and yes I'm hooked. 0 plans, just check it out and walked out with quiche and some delicious items to enjoy at home. I sampled one of the treats and OMG- two to go please. Complimentary coffee, the staff were so kind and top it off w spinning the wheel for a little surprise before you go. For me I hit the 50% off Win win, oui oui. We will be back.

Cliche-ish is what I'm about to say. Have you seen this bakery? Have you tried what they bake? I swear if I wasn't interested in looking somewhat civilized and of course grown up I would be doing somersaults, screaming like a maniac and at the same time feeding myself everything that I can get my hands on and worrying that I will be thrown out n be banned for life. So all that happened in my head. thank God for self control. Whew! So, this bakery is owned by a real cute Frenchman. Julian. Eye candy for sure. I mean all the things that he bakes! Lol! He's only 35 but he's very successful in his field. The pandemic brought two different things to the world of food. Success or utter failure. The former is the story here. Three things to remember for next year. 1. During the holidays Santas visit to their retail store. 2. A new retail store is going to open in Spring by DTC Arapahoe and 25th. 3. They're also a production company and produced their first #lechallenge event. ( that I missed) Julian was happy just to hide behind the sack of flour and confectioner sugar before the pandemic. But his desire to help his staff survive this major event he decided to open his area to the public. Hence the retail section was born. Litrally in the back of the building which also houses his baking paradise. I'll let my photos tell the story a bit more. Prepare to drool.

Do you want to feel like you have been whisked away to Paris? This French bakery is the place to visit...there are three locations, this location doesn't have a sit down place but you can always enjoy the baked goods here while strolling a in a near by park or even in your car as you tune in to Parisian music on your iTunes. We visited here to get a treat for my daughter's 13th birthday. She ordered a butter croissant and I ordered an almond croissant. My heaven's! It was the most amazing croissant I have ever eaten. I washed down my croissant with a hot white chocolate mocha. (There is no decaf at this location but the barista offered to give me one shot instead of two) There is plethora of various baked goods here. You can get a discount on frozen items or preordering...I am not completely sure but check out their website for more information. I also was ecstatic at their decaf coffee bean option. I have already tried it and it was fantastic! Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and I am looking forward to checking out their other location that has a dining area.

Ummmmm how have I not reviewed La Belle yet? They're only the makers of the best croissants in Denver. (I said what I said) Don't get me wrong pretty much everything from here is wonderful but if I could only choose one thing on my prison menu it would be their plain croissant because it truly is wonderful. They also make delightful sweets, and highly recommend their raspberry cheesecake (my personal favorite) which is not only stunning to look at but decadent and bursting with a tart fresh raspberry in the center to cut the richness of the cheese. Sorry Hank (he doesn't tolerate dairy that well) I also really enjoyed the Rocherr if you are wanting to treat yourself. I have to also say I recently got an Almond Croissant for my mother as they are her favorite, and I always thought I did not like an almond croissant...well I'm guessing maybe I just never had one because holy moly. I will never NOT get this again. It might have moved up on my list of breads sitting right under the traditional and about the cinnamon roll and chocolate. Another bonus, they do specialty croissants on the weekends (usually in summer I believe) and they always some sort fun and unique. Definitely check them out if you are in the mood for some epic French pastries

This place has too many delicious options it makes it difficult to decide. Although anything you'd get would be scrumptious either way. You can't lose here! I ordered a butter croissant, raspberry Mother's Day croissant, & a coffee eclair. The raspberry Mother's Day croissant was my absolute favorite! It had fresh raspberry jelly and whipped cream inside and it was a blast of delicious flavor. I'm so happy I live just a few minutes away. I'll definitely be returning!

I really want to give this place five stars, but I have to give four because the lack of choices. I get it, we aren't in Europe where bakeries are filled and you can find one on every block. However, brilliantly talented staff. Quick service. And the pastries and bread are to die for! Yes it is a bit more on the expensive side, however it is totally worth every penny!

The lady that served us today was so friendly and gave us recommendations since it was our first time in the bakery. We got the strawberry, chocolate and almond croissant, blueberry muffin, cookies, and dessert. As you walk to the bakery, you can smell the inviting scent of freshly baked pastries. The lady explained that they sell them frozen to preserve the quality of their croissants which makes sense but you can request to heat them up as long as you eat them in less than an hour. I think my favorite was the muffin and the variety of croissants. My partner is not a fan of the strawberry croissant because of the sweet jelly inside but for me it was good.

I received a bountiful gift of pastries from here... EVERY LAST ONE HAS BEEN DELICIOUS! The quality, the presentation, the love baked in is all wonderful! I would recommend you run down and grab as many as you can! Try them all, I'm headed down to try the savory sandwiches soon! They look so tasty!

    The almond croissants were delicious!
    Tina J.

So many delicious pastries to choose from! Some of the ones I tried are: almond Crossiant, pomegranate mango mousse, pecan, cinnamon roll, cookies and cream, and chocolate Crossiant. It's a little difficult to pick a favorite, but I feel like no matter what they make, it will probably be tasty. I will most definitely come back here to buy some more and try new pastries too!

Walked in to buy a croissant. Ended up buying $30 of the best tasting I have ever had. La Belle sells their pastries to coffee shops all over town so I see them everywhere. The strawberry and almond croissants are to die for! It's hard to say no to these delicious treats

Strawberry cheesecake, a couple Paris-Brest, almond financier and a cholate dessert (forgot the name). And a baguette in the front!
    Veronique C.

3 1/2 stars. I was very excited to try La Belle's pastries as I was dying to eat a Paris-Brest! They used to do only wholesale, but with Covid, about a year ago they opened for retail. The place is small but pleasant with a lot of their  delicacies on display.  I got a few different pastries, a baguette and a financier.  A complaint I have is that all of it is frozen and I can tell the difference with a fresh pastry (although a lot of people seem to think they taste the same).  They make sure you know about it and inside the box they explain how to deal with it to make sure you keep the full flavor and flakiness of their pastries. I assume it works better for some kinds than others. When I visited, they were very busy with customers; it was a constant flow of people coming in, but they managed to be quite efficient and very friendly. Since everything is frozen, I was also surprised and disappointed that a lot of the items on the website were not available.  $7 for a pastry is a little steep, even for a beautiful French one (they do look amazing!) and at that price I'd expect something fresh. I know, I might be a little obsessed with the frozen issue. It seems I am in the minority, all the reviews are great, but I honestly was a little disappointed.  Still, I'll go back when craving a Paris-Brest, it's cheaper than a trip to France!

La Belle is a challenging place to find but once you find it you will be rewarded! The ground coffee is a bit expensive but you forget about it after you brew it. The pastries are as good as I have had in France. I did not pick up enough of them and will require more trips back. I was challenged to try the gluten-free financier. I said I did not like gluten-free products. I took the challenge and I could not tell it was gluten-free it was tasty and delightful. The French cinnamon role was really flaky, which I really liked. The sourdough bread was also outstanding. The products are frozen and you are given instructions in the box and at the shop on how to bring to temperature to enjoy. Though s'mores dessert is not a traditional French pastry, it was also enjoyable. Desserts are refrigerated because how delicate they are. Again, La Belle is challenging to find but well worth the hunt! I plan to be back several times while in Denver area.

As a former bookstore, this restaurant has a lot of charm that makes for a cozy ambience, especially on a Sunday afternoon. We had a mix of mix of French and Spanish cuisine, starting with Truffle Fries, followed by Beef Bourguignon and Shakshouka, and ending with Basque Cheese Cake. I also had French Press Coffee as well, and just to get that out of the way, wow, such a good coffee! I'm an espresso and Americano purist, and somehow this French Press tasted like a very good Americano with a more nuanced, sweet chocolatey taste. But enough of that, let's get to the delicious food, and yeah, they are all so good! The Truffle Fries to start is just seriously addicting with its potent combination of Parmigiano, parsley, and white truffle oil. In fact, the ketchup is completely unnecessary and detracts from the deliciousness of the fries. The aioli provided adds another twist to the fries for variety, too. The Beef Bourguignon is surprisingly soft and delicate, but never bland or mushy. It plays that fine line beautifully and it is a delight and comforting to eat. The beef is tender, yet savory. It's appropriate that Bourguignon has a red wine reduction component because this dish is as nuanced and delicious as fine wine. Now going to the Spaniard side of the cuisine, the Shakshouka fires it up with a tomato and egg stew that's bursting with flavor! There is balance with the acidity and cheesiness, coupled with one of the tastiest flatbread I've had in recent memory. Finally, the Basque Cheese Cake, named after the Basque Country in Northern Spain, absolutely delivers as a dessert. This isn't an ordinary cheese cake because of the dulce de leche and candied pecans. I just love having the playful contrast of the semisoft cheese cake with the sweet and crunchy pecans. The Dulce de Leche adds another layer of sweetness that is so delectable. It really is 3 different way of sweetness that all works so well together.

It is one of my favorites, and I normally cannot find it anywhere. Croque Madame is an open faced sandwich. They used brioche bread for the base, then had ham and Swiss cheese over bechamel with poached eggs perched on top. I chose to get the side salad with was mixed greens and vinaigrette. The interior of the restaurant is very cute and they have interesting restrooms. Espresso machine was not working so no milk or espresso drinks offered - not sure why that wasn't a priority to get up and running before opening for brunch. The reason for the one star review is that the food took over an hour to arrive to our group. The waitress explained that the kitchen was understaffed and everyone came in at once, but honestly it was still upsetting and frustrating. We ordered the French toast, venison tartine, and the mushroom crepe. Everything tasted good actually BUT after the hour wait for our food, we found a hair in our venison tartine. They did get another one out to us fast but just another problem found after the insane wait for the food. In the end, they did what they could with regards to the bill and apologized profusely for all the issues, but I do feel like the restaurant has some improvements to make as far as staffing and time/guest management. I would just warn you to not come during a busy time until the restaurant becomes more established.

Brasserie Ten Ten feels increasingly rare now…read more Even in very good restaurants, actual tablecloths have become uncommon. At lunch, rarer still. So when you settle into Brasserie Ten Ten, with its white linen, substantial silverware, mirrors, low conversational buzz, and faint 1920s salon energy, you will notice. There's something a little Gertrude Stein about the place: people lingering, talking, drinking and eating well, behaving as if the outside world can wait. It feels slightly Parisian, in the best way. Refined but lived in. A room designed for appetite and conversation. If cigarettes were still allowed, you could almost imagine someone chain smoking over a third glass of wine while arguing about literature or the affair they're having. But this is still Boulder, where the fantasy stops just short of the inevitable side-eye and civic disapproval. And then there is the gauze-wrapped lemon. The first time I ever saw one of those mesh bundles tied up for squeezing over seafood, I thought it was the height of sophistication and luxury. The gauze has the faint sexiness of pantyhose while also serving a very practical purpose. A factory worker's kid like me being mesmerized by a lemon condom probably tells you something about aspiration in America. I started with the pâté, which was exactly the right kind of decadent. I paid the extra charge to swap the crostini for bread, which was absolutely the correct decision. I ate about a third and boxed the rest before things got irresponsible. The Boulder influence...nah. The accompaniments were classic: grainy mustard, tiny olives, and a small pile of pickled vegetables cutting through all that pâté richness. The bouillabaisse was mostly lovely. The seafood was cooked expertly, which matters in a dish where every type requires slightly different timing. The shrimp were especially sweet. I would have liked more cod, which felt a little stingy, and while the saffron broth was flavorful, it leaned more tomato-forward than I personally prefer. Still, between the mussels, shrimp, cod, rouille-slathered toast, and that absurdly elegant lemon situation, the fisherman's stew delivered exactly the kind of brasserie pleasure I came searching for. Service at the bar was confident and relaxed. Two bartenders understood the balance between attentiveness and hovering. Not doting, which I don't need, but every need was met. Real napkins. A dedicated, and attended, host stand. People who seemed comfortable in the room instead of performing hospitality theater. Not an everyday lunch. You notice the prices. You should. But every once in a while, it's good to sit somewhere that still believes lunch can stretch a little too long, conversation matters, and a gauze-wrapped lemon can still feel faintly glamorous. There may be no cigarette smoke, no Left Bank argument unfolding over wine, no real salon except the one you briefly imagine. But Brasserie Ten Ten still knows how to make lunch feel like an act of civilization: linen, appetite, conversation, and just enough theatre to make the afternoon seem...negotiable. Gertrude Stein probably would've approved.

We lucked out, we were sat at ample sized table, it was loud, but we were still able to hear everyone at our table. And for dessert we ordered beignets and crème brûlée both were yummy! And, I forgot and didn't take any pictures of food.

We ordered the Coq Au Vin, Steak Frites, and the mussels, and every dish was absolutely outstanding -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, dessert arrived. The crème brûlée was excellent (you could see the real vanilla bean specks -- always a great sign), and the Louis XIV was incredible, with the lace cookie being my husband's favorite part. If you're considering going -- do it. You need to try this place for yourself.

Service was prompt, we got our drinks almost as soon as we ordered them. We ordered the beef bourguignon and the coq a vin, dishes that were highly rated based on other reviews. The beef was incredibly dry, like it hadn't been cooked long enough or was cooked at too high of heat. I had to use a knife...bad sign for stew. Flavor lacked depth, which could be because it wasn't cooked low and slow enough. Portion wasn't huge, but it still was hard to finish. The fries were fine. The coq a vin was bland. Our plate has white and dark meat. The white meat was very dry, dark meat was better, but still lacked flavor. You could tell the chicken has been braised with wine, and was better than the beef, but marginally. The gratin potatoes were the best part of the coq a vin. We were really excited to try this place, but were pretty disappointed with the food. Maybe it was an off night.

It just crowded the table and then the entree was getting cold as we finished. Our waitress was nice though! Service was good, she checked in on us a few times. For food, I didn't love the escargot, it was too parsley/herby for me. The French onion soup was amazing! Definitely get that. You can see in the photos that the portions of the entrées were pretty small, my friends plate is mostly mashed potatoes. It's important to note that this is from restaurant week, but the most expensive tier. Definitely get dessert!!

No one ingredient overpowers any other taste. You still have the earthiness of the eacargot and the herbs. I personally am not a fan of places that cook their eacargot with cheese and this place does NOT do that. We got LINGUINES AUX CREVETTES and the MOULES FRITES for our entres. Both very nice flavors. Nothing too strong, as expected from French cuisine. The pasta was a heavy diah but with nice delicate flavors and the moules frites white wine sauce was phenomenal. Our waitress offered us more bread and we soaked it in the white wine sauce. All of these dishes stood well with a bottle of Chablis served to us with our own table-side Ice bucket. We switched to Kronenburg beer when we got an order of the MERGUEZ lamb sausages. A beautiful mix of textures with the dijon mustards sauce, green apple (though the menu said pear, maybe?) and the lemon vinaigrette tossed arugula. The acid in the vinaigrette neutralized the usual characteristic bitterness of the arugula. We ended the night with a shared creme brulee. My company stated it was very sweet and suggested I may not like it...but I think it was because he didn't want to share. Hahaha! It is a very lovley spot. Upper classiness little Oasis off of Colorado with beautiful interior decor. I will be back again to try their other dishes. Small menu, but all were top tier food.

Had the pleasure of doing a dinner at this restaurant treasure for a friends Birthday (June 2026)…read more There was a bit of an online reservation snafu but the restaurant was so accommodating in getting us seated, there were 8 of us. That says a lot about who you hire to run your restaurant, total professionalism. It's nestled in the this great location not far from 1-25 and Belleview on Newport and you can even get there by taking lightrail and walking over a few blocks. So location is super convenient to get to. But my the real pleasure is in the food, always fantastic. I had the MOULES FRITES P.E.I blue mussels, shallot, white wine garlic broth, baguette, paprika-lemon aioli, and French fries; the broth is well sipping worth and wonderful with the toast. I also had the Caesar Salad and it was a meal by its self, I brought it home as my eyes were bigger than my tummy! Great for lunch today as it wasn't over dressed! Others had the RISOTTO CHAMPIGNONS with salmon, the FILET MIGNON - 8oz Filet, Sauce Au Poivre or Blue cheese Sauce; COQ AU VIN - Chicken slow-braised in a rich red wine sauce, seasonal vegetables, Pomme and Butternut Squash Puree and FRENCH ONION SOUP with a Caesar salad. They brought out a birthday medley of fresh berries and Gelato to finish our meal. We also had a few wonderful bottles of the PROSECCO to clink to the Birthday Girl and many glasses of wine! It's a fabulous date place too if you are looking for a bit more refined dining experience. Also, if you are closer to Denver/Cherry Creek, I highly recommend Le French at 9th & Co the sister restaurant with a larger elegant bar and dining area, it is a beautiful space and better for larger groups as Belleview is 1/2 its size and more quaint. Food at either is always exceptional! So busy talking didn't get many pics. But the pic is of the birthday desert plate.

They weren't busy when we arrived, staff was kinda just hanging out, but when we went to sit on the patio it was pretty gross on the couches, pillows everywhere, and the table was so wobbly I ended up fixing it (and getting my hands nice and dirty!). Our server was nice, but distracted with flirting with his coworkers ‍ This is something I'm familiar with as a fellow restaurant worker, but try not to make it noticeable to your table who is paying 30-50$ a person.
