    Savory crepe

This is a tiny crepe stand in the food court of the Flat Irons Mall. The crepes are surprisingly really good! I don't think there is anywhere else in the Broomfield area that does crepes. They offer sweet/savory and a gluten free/friendly crepe base for a little extra. They also offer egg-based breakfast crepes that you can get anytime of the day. We came on a Sunday morning to get breakfast and do a little shopping. It was a perfect COVID date!

Still delicious sinve my last visit! I had the Veggie Crepe with Brie Cheese. They made it perfectly.

I was most of the way through, lol. Loaded with toppings. Very tasty!

I had the Fancy Florentine and it was delicious. The crepe was properly cooked and made on the spot. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I did feel that it could have used a little more of the sauce, and he probably would have put some on top if I asked, but I ate it as is. The boy that made my food was a wonderful kid. Very nice and personable. As I was leaving I saw him chopping up more strawberries for future orders It was delicious. I would recommend it. Next time I will have to try one of the dessert crepes.

    Nutella crepe - undercooked

Crepes are my all time favorite treat. There is nothing like a good thin crepe with powdered sugar and nutella. Cafe Crepe was quite a disappointment. Please cook the crepes more. They should be golden and kinda resemble a pancake in color (since they share the same heritage). The crepe I got was undercooked and doughy inside. To the owners and cooks of the creperie - google crepes and see for yourselves what they should look like. Then try and reproduce it in your kitchen.

Cute add-on to the food court by Crate&Barrel and Pottery Barn. Very French feeling and smells yummy!

Crepes are a family favorite of mine and if anyone has ever made crepes, you know that it takes forever to make a few crepes where everybody in the family can be fed and satisfied. Crepes are a food that takes patience but are a deliciously delicate variety of pancakes. You can put almost anything in them it can be savoury it can be sweet it can be fruity. So when coming to this place you need to have a little bit of patience, because the crepes are made fresh right in front of you and they may take a while. Think about it this way if your crepe takes 3 to 5 minutes to make and you have 4 people in your family you're looking at a 20 minute wait. They can be so worth it though, these crepes are really well done and all of the ingredients that you can put inside the crepes are delicious and fresh. Unlike many of the food court options where it is buffet style you pick they survived you do have to give it a longer wait for this location. They have great ingredients, I perfer the breakfast crepes, because it has a lot of flavors with meats, eggs, and some savory cheeses that are just delicious. The only reason why I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I wish that they had a little station where you could put some different toppings on your crepe. For example I got my daughter the fruit crepe and it's pretty bland without something like whipped cream or powdered sugar dabbed on top, not a lot but just a little. They do have Nutella that you can add as topping or other toppings for 50 cents each and they tend to put way more than what I want on the crepe. I'd prefer something like powdered sugar, cinnamon, or little bit of whipped cream that can just be dabbed then I don't have to pay $0.50 for just a couple shakes. Make sure that you walk around and read all three menu option board it is kind of a unique shape and you might miss something if you don't walk all the way around. The register area only has one part of the entire menu and so you don't get a fully see all your options.

We love this place after the gym! Soo good!

This fine sunny and warm Sunday morning found us hopping in (again, we came last year) to La Crêperie to fight the crêpe withdrawals--it's been too long. Interior is very "Parisian cafe", period art, TVs showing videos of the pastry chefs doing their thing. She ordered a hot chocolate to start, and a Parisian crêpe (berries, whip cream, raspberry coulis). I ordered a galette (think square envelope-crêpe) from the savory side. I'd had it last visit and had been looking forward to a redux. I ordered the Professeur Steve, capers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach and brie, which arrived with smoked salmon arranged like a rose at opposing corners (keeps it cold). Oh man, this brie-gooing mushroomy sweet-caramelly onion spinach umami explosion goes perfectly taken in a bite with the salmon. Addiction sated; withdrawals saved off until next June's visit. Wife's crêpe was delicious--everything sweet-toothers love. Hot chocolate is real. Like not from a packet but from a chocco chunk and paid labor somewhere nearby. Whipped cream was real, and thick enough that it could have been sliced and served on its own. Absolutely freaking delicious. Love this place. See you in a year!

Some of the parking is for the liquor store and is signed as such, leaving not a lot of room for eaters to park. We parallel parked on the side street. The woman who greeted us wasn't overly friendly, just business-like, and took us directly to our table. No waiting for us, but it was a July weekday, 10 am. It was busy, but not packed. There were two outdoor seating areas, as well. Our server, Monica, was kind and helpful when answering questions from us old folks. Prompt and attentive was her style, though not overly so. Husband ordered an omelet with meat, which was good, not exceptional. I had a croissant with real butter and great raspberry jam. And fresh slices of avocado as a side order. Croissant was flaky on outside and soft and somewhat airy on the inside, so I fell in love. I drank an unremarkable bagged Earl Grey tea with milk, and my dear enjoyed two Americanos. They serve Lavazza coffee, which I regret not ordering. Afterwards I decided there was too much water in my mug for the little tea bag hence my poor tea experience. Perhaps an additional bag or a smaller cup would've helped. Anyway, it all arrived beautifully and promptly. The decor is slightly cute, though a bit overly decorated (busy) for my taste, but I liked the butter-yellow paint color, and I appreciated the wood furniture instead of metal or plastic. Enjoyed the red and white checked curtains. So overall, it's almost cozy. I despise sitting shoulder to shoulder in restaurants and will walk out if that's how tables are arranged. But that wasn't an issue here. Yay. Also, the woman in the bakery section was nice. Leave your house now and enjoy your trip to La Creperie. Eat a croissant for me, okay?

The Saucisson for dinner and cookie butter + banana for dessert hit the spot! Oh my gosh! Almost forgot...he brought a speaker and was playing the classic music you'd hear at a French cafe. I stopped for a Honey Rose iced latte before my stroll around the park, and was pleased by how flavorful it was. Service was quick, and luckily I got my drink before the morning Sunday rush I saw after me. The only downside was the price. Almost $8 for my medium drink, granted I opted for the $1 oat milk replacement instead of their typical whole milk. But the most surprising thing the pre-added "service charge" of 15% which the front register girl tried to hide on the screen when she turned it around to me for a signature. She initially showed me the screen without it, but then said she forgot something and added that to the tab. I think transparency with these forced gratuities/tips/charges would be great to prevent these surprise encounters, especially with to-go orders. Other than that, I do like the vibe of this place and would find it to be a good quick stop if you're craving a coffee or small bite.
