Savory crepe
Caroline Y.

This is a tiny crepe stand in the food court of the Flat Irons Mall. The crepes are surprisingly really good! I don't think there is anywhere else in the Broomfield area that does crepes. They offer sweet/savory and a gluten free/friendly crepe base for a little extra. They also offer egg-based breakfast crepes that you can get anytime of the day. We came on a Sunday morning to get breakfast and do a little shopping. It was a perfect COVID date!

Still delicious sinve my last visit! I had the Veggie Crepe with Brie Cheese. They made it perfectly.

I was most of the way through, lol. Loaded with toppings. Very tasty!

I had the Fancy Florentine and it was delicious. The crepe was properly cooked and made on the spot. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I did feel that it could have used a little more of the sauce, and he probably would have put some on top if I asked, but I ate it as is. The boy that made my food was a wonderful kid. Very nice and personable. As I was leaving I saw him chopping up more strawberries for future orders It was delicious. I would recommend it. Next time I will have to try one of the dessert crepes.

Nutella crepe - undercooked

Crepes are my all time favorite treat. There is nothing like a good thin crepe with powdered sugar and nutella. Cafe Crepe was quite a disappointment. Please cook the crepes more. They should be golden and kinda resemble a pancake in color (since they share the same heritage). The crepe I got was undercooked and doughy inside. To the owners and cooks of the creperie - google crepes and see for yourselves what they should look like. Then try and reproduce it in your kitchen.

Cute add-on to the food court by Crate&Barrel and Pottery Barn. Very French feeling and smells yummy!

Crepes are a family favorite of mine and if anyone has ever made crepes, you know that it takes forever to make a few crepes where everybody in the family can be fed and satisfied. Crepes are a food that takes patience but are a deliciously delicate variety of pancakes. You can put almost anything in them it can be savoury it can be sweet it can be fruity. So when coming to this place you need to have a little bit of patience, because the crepes are made fresh right in front of you and they may take a while. Think about it this way if your crepe takes 3 to 5 minutes to make and you have 4 people in your family you're looking at a 20 minute wait. They can be so worth it though, these crepes are really well done and all of the ingredients that you can put inside the crepes are delicious and fresh. Unlike many of the food court options where it is buffet style you pick they survived you do have to give it a longer wait for this location. They have great ingredients, I perfer the breakfast crepes, because it has a lot of flavors with meats, eggs, and some savory cheeses that are just delicious. The only reason why I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I wish that they had a little station where you could put some different toppings on your crepe. For example I got my daughter the fruit crepe and it's pretty bland without something like whipped cream or powdered sugar dabbed on top, not a lot but just a little. They do have Nutella that you can add as topping or other toppings for 50 cents each and they tend to put way more than what I want on the crepe. I'd prefer something like powdered sugar, cinnamon, or little bit of whipped cream that can just be dabbed then I don't have to pay $0.50 for just a couple shakes. Make sure that you walk around and read all three menu option board it is kind of a unique shape and you might miss something if you don't walk all the way around. The register area only has one part of the entire menu and so you don't get a fully see all your options.

We love this place after the gym! Soo good!

La Belle French Bakery

Some restaurants serve food…read more La Belle French Bakery serves edible works of art. The moment you walk through the door, it's obvious this isn't a place that cuts corners. Between the pastry case that looks like it belongs in a museum and croissants so perfectly golden brown they almost appear artificial, every item seems to have been crafted with an almost unreasonable amount of care. I ordered the breakfast croissant, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin. Now, I firmly believe a bakery's coffee should be judged the same way a singer is judged performing acoustically: no fancy tricks, no backup dancers, nowhere to hide. If your black coffee is excellent, everything else is built on a strong foundation. Thankfully, La Belle passed that test with flying colors. The breakfast croissant somehow managed to be both delicately flaky and impossibly soft at the same time. Every bite left a trail of evidence on my shirt that I regret absolutely none of. I'm fairly certain the croissant received more quality control inspections than my first apartment. The blueberry muffin was equally impressive, striking that magical balance between homemade comfort and professional craftsmanship. But if I had to describe La Belle in a single word, it would be love. You do not create food this visually stunning and effortlessly delicious unless the people behind it are deeply passionate about what they do. Every pastry, sandwich, dessert, and loaf of bread seemed to radiate the kind of attention to detail normally associated with Swiss watchmakers, NASA engineers, and grandmothers preparing for a family gathering. I've had plenty of delicious meals before. What stood out here wasn't just the flavor - it was the unmistakable feeling that every item was made by people who genuinely care about their craft. The passion wasn't subtle. It practically walked out from behind the counter, introduced itself, and insisted I try another pastry. By the time I left, I had already started recommending La Belle to friends. Between finishing brunch this morning and writing this review tonight, I've probably talked about this bakery more than any reasonable person should. And honestly? I regret nothing. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back.

Between the four of us, we tried a wide variety of dishes, and every single one was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. Each plate that came out somehow topped the last, thoughtful flavors, perfect portions, and clear attention to detail. You can truly taste the care and talent behind the food. The service was just as impressive, warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. A big thank you to our server, Matt, who was fantastic and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. And compliments to Chef Savon, clearly he knows exactly what he's doing. The creativity, quality, and execution across everything we tried were outstanding. The highlight of the evening was the superb service. Our waiter was professional, kind, attentive, and genuinely diligent in making sure everyone at the table was comfortable and well cared for throughout the evening. His warmth and patience, especially with two tired young children in our party late in the evening, were greatly appreciated. The appetizers were excellent, and the bread was truly superb. Most of the meal was enjoyable, though a few dishes did not quite live up to their descriptions. The lentil soup, unfortunately, was rather bland and forgettable, lacking flavor and depth. Two entrées the tilapia specialty and a risotto-style dish also felt somewhat overstated compared to expectations and unfortunately they were way over salted. To the restaurant's credit, concerns were addressed politely and professionally, though the offer of a replacement felt a bit scripted as the evening was growing late. We did choose not to accept the replacement. Overall, however, the atmosphere, hospitality, and thoughtful service made for a very pleasant evening. With a bit more care from the kitchen in matching execution to presentation and description, this charming restaurant could truly shine. As a former bookstore, this restaurant has a lot of charm that makes for a cozy ambience, especially on a Sunday afternoon. We had a mix of mix of French and Spanish cuisine, starting with Truffle Fries, followed by Beef Bourguignon and Shakshouka, and ending with Basque Cheese Cake. I also had French Press Coffee as well, and just to get that out of the way, wow, such a good coffee! I'm an espresso and Americano purist, and somehow this French Press tasted like a very good Americano with a more nuanced, sweet chocolatey taste. But enough of that, let's get to the delicious food, and yeah, they are all so good! The Truffle Fries to start is just seriously addicting with its potent combination of Parmigiano, parsley, and white truffle oil. In fact, the ketchup is completely unnecessary and detracts from the deliciousness of the fries. The aioli provided adds another twist to the fries for variety, too. The Beef Bourguignon is surprisingly soft and delicate, but never bland or mushy. It plays that fine line beautifully and it is a delight and comforting to eat. The beef is tender, yet savory. It's appropriate that Bourguignon has a red wine reduction component because this dish is as nuanced and delicious as fine wine. Now going to the Spaniard side of the cuisine, the Shakshouka fires it up with a tomato and egg stew that's bursting with flavor! There is balance with the acidity and cheesiness, coupled with one of the tastiest flatbread I've had in recent memory. Finally, the Basque Cheese Cake, named after the Basque Country in Northern Spain, absolutely delivers as a dessert. This isn't an ordinary cheese cake because of the dulce de leche and candied pecans. I just love having the playful contrast of the semisoft cheese cake with the sweet and crunchy pecans. The Dulce de Leche adds another layer of sweetness that is so delectable. It really is 3 different way of sweetness that all works so well together.

I'm super bummed because the place served a lot of cute vibes. If we had a bigger group of girls with us I'm sure we would've snapped everything for the 'gram or the tikky tom. The news of this spot closing also seemed to impact the staff; I felt that their energy was focused on serving us with a smile. Hopefully they find good safe landing spots.
